How you girls all feeling today? I swear I keep forgetting I'm pregnant when symptoms disappear randomly. But I'm at such early stages, one of the babies of the bunch at just 5+2

8+2 today and still struggling with sickness. Interest lay I didn't take my pregnancy vitamin this morning and am feeling much less nauseous. I wonder if its the iron making me feel ill? Planning to experiment and take it just before bed for a few days...

coffee do you take the pill with food? It can make you sick if you take it on an empty stomach.

H blow I've been so crappy at taking mine and my iron pills as well.

I've also been on the knicker watch but unfortunately been spotting pink n then brown the last two days. Have a follow up private scan today so fingers crossed! X

Tmi but I'm really struggling to "go". My tummy is so bloated I feel really sluggish and horrible. And first day back at work tomorrow. I'm dreading standing in front of 28 new kids and expecting my bladder to only wee at certain intervals! I've finished the antibs for the UTI now, but low and behold I've got thrush. The pharmacist then proceeded to make my day by saying "oh you'll get it loads whilst your pregnant anyway". Joy.

My latest issue is that due to poor diet atm my digestion has slowed down. I need to up the fibre I think!

MW visit is today! Finally.
Do they measure your uterus at this stage or is it too early? I can't remember when they start that?
Still need to tidy up before she comes. Did the kitchen after work friday but didn't manage anything after DS went to bed last night. Too exhausted.

The MW will probably see if she can feel your uterus over your pelvic bone. If you're less than 10 weeks its unlikely she'll feel it. They generally do weight, height, bp, wee, family history and take blood.

Thank you cata and tea1. I think I've been a lil lucky with going to loo as been having chia seed steeped with hot water and occasionally with milled flaxseed so bm is fine. Maybe try that? Also I'm very prone to uti and before bfp (well literally from 1dpo) I had kidney infection which requires antibiotics to clear up. I've changed my diet to more alkaline based so lots of fruits and vege plus swapping rice with brown rice and millet and quinoa. It really helped I think. Took a bit of getting used to but have been doing since 1dpo ie 6 aug.

I had done well at cutting out sugar and reducing carbs but it's all gone out the window as everything makes me nauseous. I tried salad and baked potato and couldn't manage a quarter yesterday. Unfortunately sugary rubbish like boiled sweets are easier!

I re-tested and CBD is 3+, phew.

allypally how did the scan go?

Is there a Facebook group for this month yet? I'm part of the February 12 group and its been so wonderful - we have meet ups quite often and threw a 1st birthday party for all the babies.

I'm having one of my better days today so far and just enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner

I'm up in Teesside and its not a bad day today. Although we did have some rather bad flooding on Friday.

I won't have my scan for at least another 3 weeks as I'm on holiday soon. It won't seem real until I see little bean there. The mw or gp's haven't done anything to check that I'm actually pg yet so I keep thinking I might have got it wrong! Although I'm sure the sickness and the half dozen tests can't all be wrong!

Hi everyone, thought it was about time I checked back in.

I'm from Northern Ireland. This is dc2. Oh I'm also 23.

I thought I had finally gotten over the sickness, had 3 days of no sickness but it has come back again today. Feeling awful, although I'm very grateful that I haven't actually been sick.

So I have my scan on Friday I'm all excited but I really don't want my dates to change, but thinking they probably will.

Then it's ds' 1st birthday on Saturday. I'm all excited and can't believe my baby is a year old. How time has flown.

How is everyone else?

Hi thunder, bart and all,
Just a quick update. Went back for second scan following from the first one last week.
Last week based on LMP was 5wks 5days and gestational sac diameter of 10.2mm with yolk sac seen.
Today, I'm supposed to be 6wks 5 days but scan shows 13.2mm and fetal pole seen only at 1.2mm. Sonographer just said that it was too small or too early to say anything like dating it. And told me if I want a reassurance then go after 2 more weeks to see better and heartbeat. Anyone else experienced the same? I was surprised to find within one week the sac had only increased by 3mm? Maybe I'm thinking too much..

Hi everyone, I'm new to this so please bear with me while I try and work out the acronyms :) I'm pregnant with my first and due 4th April I'm finding it hard to get excited just yet, I'm too busy worrying that I'm really imagining it all!! It's taken me four years of trying and I was jut about o start IVF when I took the test. We've not old anybody yet so it still a secret until my scan on the 18th Sept. I've found the NHS/midwife rather baffling after my first visit as they dent even confirm my pregnancy they just took my word for it?
I've had ups and owns with he nausea and I'm not enjoying that. I have a bi of a pot belly anyway so I've not noticed my difference in size, are you guys showing yet?
Hoping that this group will keep me sane over the next few months!!
