Hi girls thought as that thread it quite full we could start a new one here.
Hope you don't mind pink.
How you girls all feeling today? I swear I keep forgetting I'm pregnant when symptoms disappear randomly. But I'm at such early stages, one of the babies of the bunch at just 5+2

Good news Misty - you must be really relieved after your night in the hospital.
Told my 6yo DD yesterday and she is beyond excited....apparently she had made a secret wish to some fairies at the bottom of the garden so she thinks it's all down to her. She has already named the baby 3 times (all girls names). Now just need her not to blab to absolutely everyone she sees.

bunnygoesbang · 24/08/2013 22:04

Thanks misty I have posted on there.

My dd was over the moon and kept its secret I've had to say she can mention it now lol

ThedementedPenguin · 24/08/2013 22:35

Omg I am so sick tonight. I feel bad for complaining because so far I haven't even been sick but I just feel so bad.

Cannotbelieveit · 25/08/2013 00:07

I'm starting to feel sick tonight too and hubby jus thought it was a good idea to spin me round on the swivel chair x

Nessalina · 25/08/2013 00:10

Hi all Smile
Just a quick question, I'm worrying a bit about the pains I'm getting in my side & wondering if anyone else is getting them. When I sneeze I get a really painful stabbing feeling on either the left or right side of my groin, sort of where I feel my ovaries would be. It's only when I sneeze, and it only lasts 3-4 seconds. I can stop it hurting so bad if I anticipate it and lean forward or bring my knees up if I'm lying down.
5+3
Is anyone rise getting this?!

prettyinpink90 · 25/08/2013 00:37

Is anyone else struggling to sleep tonight? I'm so tired but I just can't sleep... the OHs darth vader noises don't help either!!! I get myself all wound up to the point I feel sick!

Fairypants · 25/08/2013 06:49

I get something similar when I sneeze or stand up quickly. I had it in both prev pregs (which went fine).
I think it's stretching ligaments.

Fairypants · 25/08/2013 06:49

That was in response to Nessa btw

coffeewineandchocolate · 25/08/2013 06:54

I also get it nessalina. I need everyones positive vibes today if I am to survive this morning. Off to see in the night garden live with dh and ds. I'm really hoping I don't need to rush out halfway through to throw up...

bunnygoesbang · 25/08/2013 09:05

Take some travel sweets to sick on coffee.

I haven't had the sneezing pain but a lot of people have mentioned it and said its ligament pain. Hope that eases your mind.

Awful nights sleep as oh snored and had let the dog up he also snored and slept on my side grrr

I'm in such a grotty mood this morning everything is making me mad its like pmt. I think it's just lack of decent sleep and the constant sickness

bunnygoesbang · 25/08/2013 09:12

Sick on heheheno I don't want you to so that I mean suck on

Tea1Sugar · 25/08/2013 09:31

I get the sneezing thing too. Lasts a couple of seconds but happens whenever I sneeze, which is all the time at the moment Sad

middleclassdystopia · 25/08/2013 09:42

Hi everyone

I'm 6+2 and not many symptoms so far. When did yours start?

I'm also having tiny amounts of pink/brown discharge but no pain and only once or twice in the day.

This is my third pregnancy and I had bleeding with both of those so i'm trying to stay calm. I went for early scans and both times I was further behind than my dates had suggested. Unless things get worse i'm going to wait until my doctors appointment on Wednesday.

I hate this early stage

cookielove · 25/08/2013 10:16

Morning all, :)

Felt so bad last night. I'm sure its cause dh abandoned me he's back today. Yay!!

middle your an old pro at this, fx it will be ok!

boldlittlebird · 25/08/2013 10:18

Wow, this thread moves fast! I've been away for the last few days . . .

Hi wasps, nat, blooming.

So sad for wicked. Flowers

Starting to get a bit more nausea now, about 4-5 hours a day, though not every day and not bad enough to make me hurl. Kind of reassuring actually Smile. I also have some SPECTACULAR spots - the kind that look like a tropical disease - mmmm.

The chat about the tango made me smile - despite hideous zits DH has 'booked in' a session tomo, we've just been distracted and not made time for it TBH. No good reason not to- in fact I'm with you fairypants, think the preggers hormones improve things! Grin

Oh, and boobs, hope your pain has stopped - but if it's any help, I had throbbing/crampy pains in week 5, starting top right of my pelvis at the back and moving slowly down and central (becoming like period pains) before they went away halfway through week 5. I also freaked out a bit about ectopic, but scan confirms blob's in the right place.

I'm off to check out the FB page

boldlittlebird · 25/08/2013 10:19

oops - 7+5

Nessalina · 25/08/2013 10:24

Morning Grin
Thanks for the reassurance guys, I'd read about the ligament pain, but most stuff says it starts 2nd trimester, so wasn't sure, but if I'm not the only one I guess it is just another crazy & annoying pg symptom!
Wishing you all the luck for in the night garden Coffee!! Wink

boldlittlebird · 25/08/2013 10:29

Natanotherone · 25/08/2013 12:47

Hi everyone,

Having my annual birthday BBQ today, usually get a turn out of 30 people or so all of who will be expecting me to be drinking especially as ds is with my parents today and tonight and dsd is at her mums! I have bought non alcoholic kopperberg and just going to drink it from a glass with ice. Hopefully no one will notice!

Question however, has anyone travelled with a 3 month old? We have already booked next years holiday for end of July with dsd (will be 5) and ds (will be 20 months) at the moment I'm thinking of leaving as is and we will just go as a family of 5. This year we took ds away (he was 6 months) and it was fine... Just worried about the logistics with 2 infants and a 5 year old! But I reeeaaalllyyy want to go and it's only a 3 hour flight.

Have a doctors appointment Tuesday, still cannot believei am pregnant. With ds I was so ill... I am having some mild pains in my stomach and have already put on a fair bit (went to a wedding yesterday and my dress that fit the other week split) which leads me to believe I may be slightly further on than I first thought :/

Hope everyone's having a fab bank holiday weekend!

xxx
