All good with scan, yippee! X

TobyLerone · 28/08/2013 15:26

Congratulations, MrsA!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 28/08/2013 15:46

MrsA yippee indeed! That's lovely!

toby is it a kick-arse haircut though? Grin

TobyLerone · 28/08/2013 15:51

It's shorter than I usually have it because I told her it'll be the last time I have it done without having to worry about getting it into a ponytail to keep it out of the way. It's also massive because my hairdresser thinks it's hilarious to give me some sort of Dallas blow-dry :o

So not particularly kick-arse, but hopefully I don't look like a looser Wink

MrsGSR · 28/08/2013 16:41

Congrats on the good scan MrsA!

fx ask the pets get better soon :)

I did not enjoy walking home! Luckily DH has finished work early enough to go and pick the car up (I did consider trying to make a hot chocolate last 3 hours in the asda cafe when the garage told me to pick it up at 5!)

DH is quitting smoking and has eaten 10 packets of hula hoops in 24 hours! He's away on exercise next week, so the army can deal with him fidgeting Angry

Sultanajo · 28/08/2013 16:43

yay mrsa so pleased for you! Grin

Gutted to have missed all the ass kicking!

penny I am,in the same boat as am due 27 December and of course may not end up popping him out til January, but am gonna stick with my December group too due to location....

Gotta dash - off to see my mate and my goddaughter. Catch up later ladies!

Frizz1986 · 28/08/2013 18:27

Yay mrsa thats great about the scan.

I have a poorly pooch Sad
She is currently snoozing off her anaesthetic, but is looking rather vacant and sorry for herself. They think she has torn a ligament aroung her hip joint and the bone ends have become really rough which is how they get with arthritis (vet didnt say it was arthritis, i just think the bones are behaving like it because of the torn ligament) and her knee cap is wobbly as well.
They are refering her to a specialist orthopaedic hospital in st helens, so need to wait for the phone call now for the appointment. Then we can take her and her xrays in and see what they can do. She will def need surgery tho!
Thank god we have insurance and they are starting the claim now. Not sure how much will be covered and how much we will have to pay (have never made use of insurance for anything before)
Always a good start with a baby on the way and dh out of work.
Oh well as long as poochy is ok thats what matters. I guess its only money right!

Frizz1986 · 28/08/2013 19:27

Aww and now she has just wet herself!!

sarahleanne · 28/08/2013 19:38

I cant believe I just wasted time reading the reign sorry rein thread lol. It actually sucked me in it was so bizarre. I never knew mumsnet was so eerrrmmm heated bitchy.
God I don't think I will be visiting any other threads, I'll stick the the pregnancy ones Grin.

congrats mrsa on your gorgeous baby scan!!

dh felt baby kick last night for the first time, woohoo, although he wasn't jumping for joy as it was late and he was half asleep so basically pissed on my fire . Why are men not as excited the more babies they have? I cant imagine why Smile

MrsGSR · 28/08/2013 20:48

I'm pretty sure I just felt a kick!

extracrunchy · 28/08/2013 20:50

Yay MrsG!! There'll be loads more from now one Smile

extracrunchy · 28/08/2013 20:50

(Now ON)

Toothfairy78 · 28/08/2013 23:07

Ooh, have you been feeling more kicks you lot?

Have discovered if you press under my bump a bit, a little someone goes "Oiiiii!!!" And gets bothered even DH can feel it faintly!

Anyway am back from the land of moules, frites n waffles. Sorry if it prompted any cravings! Planes n trains were like clockwork, buses were a bit laid back! Have returned with champagne truffles, choccies and a little beery treat for DH cos he's been very good.

Has anyone booked NCT classes and used Sage to pay? I booked the other week and paid the 1st instalment but local admin reckons I haven't???

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:48

Yay mrsg for a kick! Doh, have promptly forgotten everything else...Blush

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:53

tooth glad u had a fab time! hmmmm waffles, chocolates and frites - would eat them ALL right now! Yum! Grin

I cant remember how I paid for the NCT class, but sage rings a bell. Am fairly sure I got a confirmation email she says panicking getting paranoid that she hasnt

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:54

sarah how cool your DH felt it for the first time, even if he didnt fully appreciate it! Wink

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:55

Aw frizz your poor little pooch! Hope she is feeling less woozy this morning....are u having to keep her strictly rested? Fingers crossed your insurance covers the bulk!

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:57

enjoying the words "house moving" & "stress" are permanently linked! Poor u! How funny your DH leapt in the air feeling the kick! Grin

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:58

humpty how cute is that little boy! Bless him! Really hope mine is gonna be super cute! Grin

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 08:59

book really hope your cat perks up. It all happens at once doesnt it! Sad

AnotherStitchInTime · 29/08/2013 09:13

Glad your scan went well MrsA :)

Frizz, your poor dog, I hope that the insurance comes through quickly for you.

Hope your cat is ok too Book.

Enjoying moving house is always stressful, we moved 4 times before dd1 was 3. They adjust surprisingly well, I found getting her involved with room decoration choices for her bedroom helped soften the blow a little. She now has a tropical blue bedroom with dinosaurs!

Mmm Tooth glad your trip went well :)

Hope your infection clears up quickly MrsGSR

All well here, baby kicking away. Tiredness seems to be fading a bit which is good, I have felt like I was wading through treacle for the last few weeks.

extracrunchy · 29/08/2013 09:32

Found a fun thing! Complete bollocks probably but check it out...

MrsGSR · 29/08/2013 10:55

Apparently baby will be born late, in the morning, after 15 hours labour and will weigh 8lb 3!

Very jealous of the trip to Belgium, went a few years ago and loved it.

keeping fx for all the pets!

AnotherStitchInTime · 29/08/2013 11:05

I got early by 3-7 days, 8 hours labour and 8lb.

We shall see!

Sultanajo · 29/08/2013 11:37

Here is my prediction:

Get your bags packed early just in case you need them. Make sure your partner has a phone available when he's away because this baby just might come early. We predict your baby will come 2-3 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 6.5 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.

Would be nice if that were true....! Grin
