Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh book you are tomorrow too? Sorry, missed that! Really hope it all goes ok!

toby dare I ask how the diabetic lady got on? Hmm

TobyLerone · 20/08/2013 22:08

She had a CS in the end and everything was fine. Baby in special care for a bit, but normal considering it was 7 months.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 20/08/2013 22:12

book and toby woop for tomorrow - will you be seeing each other (you're both WHH, aren't you?) hope it goes brilliantly!

Phew that the 'stuff' is appropriate. I had Exorcist-boobs visions.

TobyLerone · 20/08/2013 22:13

It's meant to be bright green, right? Wink

I'll be the fat one with the pretty husband, if anyone's at the WHH tomorrow :o

Sultanajo · 20/08/2013 22:24

Phew! Was in two minds whether to ask....Grin

No, toby you will be the one with a wet t shirt around the left boob area! Wink

TobyLerone · 20/08/2013 22:31

Hahaha! That I will :o

littlealien01 · 20/08/2013 22:38

the twins on midwives had me in floods of tears, both when she was rushed to theatre and when they were ok. think id have been inconsolable if it had been a sad ending.

no leaky boobs here just yet but they dont half seem to be growing (& getting disturbingly droopy), im a G cup to start with so really dont need or want the growth. worried ill look like jordan once i get milk and jump sizes.

is anyone else getting really low stomach pain/discomfort and a rock hard abdomen? from googling im fairly sure its just gas and stretching but id feel better if someone else had it too.

19wks today and still nothing i can say is definite moving. cant believe im wishing to be repeatedly kicked but it would be reassuring. on the plus side i can say my morning sickness has now been gone a week, and ....drumroll... i can now eat (& look at) chocolate without being sick for the first time in months, woohoo. enough rambling.....ill be in the corner eating all the chocolate x

TobyLerone · 20/08/2013 22:49

Could be braxton hicks, little? I'm fairly sure I've been getting them for weeks.

Glad you're feeling better :)

Right. I'm off. DH has googled the itchy boobs and offered to moisturise them "because the internet says so" :o

BookTart · 21/08/2013 06:48

little' I am a G cup and they haven't grown at all, just changed shape and gone weirdly saggy and pointy I have gone up a back size though.

I will be scrutinising the people at WHH tomorrow for wet chest patches and pretty husbands. DP usually looks like a vagrant, so we're fairly easy to spot Grin

MrsVDB · 21/08/2013 06:51

Woo on the good scans! And good luck everyone today/ tomorrow

Less woo for leaky boobs!

I missed midwives is it like obem?

alien I've had pain under my bump/ gut for the last couple of weeks, especially if I'm walking around a lot or stretching etc. I've just assumed its stretching pains. My tummy goes through rock hard stages too but all over

Sultanajo · 21/08/2013 08:09

Mrsv yeah a bit like OBEM, but I didn't like it as much and I felt there was more chance of unhappy endings, hence the switching off! Good news only please! Wink

little yes I have had some pain in the lower abdomen on and off - in fact I freaked out because I had some sharp pain on Sunday walking around Ikea (probably bubs telling me to get out of there while I still could!!!) - hadn't had that before. Was fine by that evening and not come back since. The top of my abdomen is quite often rock hard by the evening and it's usually related to what/how much I have eaten and how quickly I have eaten it! Saying that, it was mahoosively rock hard last night (because I ate my dinner in two seconds flat) and this morning and it's still pretty big and hard. Having one of those "I just feel uncomfortable and fat" mornings!

Sultanajo · 21/08/2013 08:09

Meant to say good luck for the scans today!

littlealien01 · 21/08/2013 08:27

ooh good glad its not just me. relaxes

booktart that sounds similar actually. im still just about in the same bras (albeit now tighter fitting & with back extenders) but finding they look totally different so it feels like theyre huge. must be a shape thing.

MrsAVB · 21/08/2013 08:40

Morning all! Good luck today toby and book, hope there's no more incompetence at WHH.
Have stretchy pains in my bump too, but think its just growing stretching pains. Boobs and tummy feel pretty solid and not in a very comfortable way... But maybe preferable to saggy! Have gone up from a c cup to a g cup with no band increase, stupid boobs!
Have a good day everyone x

Sultanajo · 21/08/2013 09:22

Ekkk! Just bought one of the star wraps Toby suggested from Amazon in turquoise! Looks sooooo cute!!!

MrsGSR · 21/08/2013 09:54

Good luck toby and book!

We paid extra for a dvd of the scan so I'll be watching that for the next few months!

Mythreeknights · 21/08/2013 10:48

All the best toby and book Brew ENJOY seeing your little ones and I can't wait to hear how they are perfect and all went well.

I'm still worried we haven't had an update from curly - has anyone noticed any posts from her on other boards?

Thanks for all reassurance that my paranoia is not mine alone. I know exactly what you mean about 'abstract' feelings and my other problem is I continue to have these massive muscle spasms in my tummy - which feels like I've been pushed by someone or have just walked into the side of a table. I was on the phone yesterday and cried out because it came out of nowhere and I had to pretend it was a kick Sad. I've googled it and I see some women have it in pg, but I'll also mention it to the GP as it does seem a bit rare.

Loving the boob leakage story, and OPs DH's reaction to it.. Grin

TobyLerone · 21/08/2013 10:53

mythree, are you sure it's not a kick? Sometimes in the past week or so I have had such a sharp jab from inside that it's made me wince.

No further leakage this morning, luckily! Breast pads on the list to buy later :o

Thanks for all the good wishes, lovelies :)

TobyLerone · 21/08/2013 11:01

I searched for other posts by curly and she said the amnio had gone fine last week but she hasn't updated since. I hope she's ok.

I had to trawl back through the thread to find curly's full name to search and while I did I noticed that both Sarahs and toothfairy also have their scans today. Good luck, ladies!

TarkaTheOtter · 21/08/2013 11:02

mythree, I remember with dd that every so often I would get a "twang" or "electric shock" feeling, is that like what you're experiencing? I wondered if I had a sensitive spit somewhere (like the womb equivalent of a funny bone) and the baby was kicking it.

Good luck to all the scanees today! Mine's tomorrow but I have to go to the hospital today anyway for an antenatal clinic with my consultants. Wonder how late it'll be running today...

Mythreeknights · 21/08/2013 11:32

It's definitely not a kick as I've had them since about 11 weeks pg. It also feels too violent to be a kick (even at 35-40 weeks they are not like this). Finally, the difference is that it feels like someone is pushing 'in' to me, rather than a baby inside kicking out. So, definitely not kicks!

Yes, good luck to sarah and toothfairy too Smile

TobyLerone · 21/08/2013 11:36

Ah, ok. Weird.

enjoyingscience · 21/08/2013 12:34

Like Tarka, I've been getting quite strong twangs - like someone has pinged an elastic band inside by stomach. It's been enough to make me make a weird noise when it happens, and double over for a second, but then it's gone. I've put it down to ligaments. (I put everything down to ligaments).

Does that sound similar?

Hope today goes ok for all the people being scanned!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 21/08/2013 13:04

mythree ouchie. That sounds yuck.

I just discovered what my pain was - thought I had a kidney infection, on and off dull pain in the back of my waist at the right hand side. Turns out it's constipation Grin. Ohhhh the GLAMOUR.

sarah and tooth good luck today too - hope all is lovely and wriggly and good.

Naturegirl82 · 21/08/2013 13:25

I too have had a pain, but mine is on my right hand side (where my appendix is) since the weekend. Sometimes a dull ache other times quite sharp.
