Fantastic news Lyra!

23 hours and I'll have had my scan and know one way or the other if things are going well... Nervous!

Ace news, Lyra, Becca and any scannees I've missed (sorry). Fingers crossed Rock.

So... Second trimester and thread 5 around the corner. And a definite feel if autumn in the air today, I think.

My clothes are starting to feel tight. Mat clothes shopping for me, I think! I hate shopping so do it all online so I may have to get going, as I return about 80% of what I order usually!

Proper excited like at all this scannage. My bad mood has lifted!

Although no twins yet - does this mean statistically us later scans are more likely to succumb??!!!

I can't believe we're nearly on thread 5 already and I haven't even had a scan yet. Next Wednesday is the day but starting to work myself up that it'll be bad news again even though this time I feel bloody awful all the time but I know that doesn't prove anything...

So pleased for everyone who's already had their scans and good luck to the next scanees x

Bloody well hope not! Are there enough of us here that a set of twins is practically inevitable?

Congrats on the good news scans Lyra and Becca, fab to see a wiggly baby. Lyra i do like Jesse, but dh thinks it's a bit girly. April hope you are enjoying Breaking Bad, i can honestly say it's the best thing I've ever watched, Season 4 is amazing, just brilliant telly.

Lumpy that book sounds hilarious! Please do share more.

MTB can't believe that cock up! I hope you can get a scan in time for the NT, but i think they can still do a blood test up to about 20 weeks, i'm not 100% tho.

I've had a nice day with my mum, showed her the baby scan pics, chatted all about it. Still seems a bit unreal, but it is starting to sink in that i'm having a baby! Off to music festival tomorrow too, so got to dig out my wellies and raincoat. Should be an experience sober .

My Scan went well, too. Bean was sleeping, but woke up after being jostled for the NT measurement - which was 1.1mm.

I measured exactly 12 weeks today, so EDD is now 05/03/14 (adjusted from 28/02/14).

My 20 week scan (which'll actually be my 19.1 scan) is 10th October

So, now, when do we tell everyone?...

Ive just popped back on as I wanted to keep an eye out for Becca and am so happy to see you had good news! Was going to hide the thread but as I see yiu are all so close to the next thread then this one will naturally drop off my list once its finished.

Hi all. Great scan news everyone esp becca and Lyra - must be v reassuring . Who is next up ? I'm on Monday and have to be honest am v nervous too about twins , ds or other things. Who else is scanning next week for virtual hand holding?

Great news about the good scans today. I have mine a week Saturday.

I'm so hungry. Nothing we have is appealing to me. I want a curry but dh won't let me order takeaway. Arsehole.

I was going to ask same about Reading. I've been the last two years.

I could happily eat nothing but macaroni cheese this entire pregnancy. DP is taking me out for dinner and I always feel it's a waste to order pasta, but that's all I want. That or noodles.

Yes, yes - noodles! Can't remember who it was but somebody mentioned pot noodles in a previous thread and I HAD to have some. So I did. Luckily, I have since discovered that stir fry satisfies nearly as much it feels a little healthier. Except that I also a veggie pasty today which did quite nicely, thank you. Haven't had one for years and have had two this weeks. Does not bode well. I could talk/ think about food for hours...

Congrats on seeing your little beans, post-scanners! Very exciting! Pirates sincerely hope not. An already wondering how I'm going to cope with four. Five????

Glad scans all went ok today, I think I'm behind most of u. My original date was 24th but at early scan I measured a day ahead so now it's 23rd. 3 weeks until 12 week scan - it seems ages away!!!

Congrats on all the good scans today. I feel so far behin everyone else, iv got my booking in on Friday but luckily already have my scan date for 5th sept.

I've just made 20 sweet cones for my boys joint birthday party on Sunday. Just an angry bird cake and a Thomas cake to go. I'm not sure if I'll get through to Sunday without having a breakdown!!

I'm feeling a lot of love for my DS today. Clearly, I love him everyday, but he's been so lovely today. Playing really nicely and making beautiful happy noises them every now and them clambering on me for a cuddle. Really excited to have another one in 6 months! It's nice to think about where this path is taking us once in a while

Felt so crap this morning (quite the opposite of constipated) I had to go in late to work. It feels like really bad indigestion. Is that normal?

In other news I have eaten a proper meal this evening for the first time in about 7 weeks. I think either the anti sickness drugs are actually working, or the MS is beginning to fade. Either way, my burger, mashed potatoes and salad!
