Lyra Yes she is! I couldn't work out whether she was being serious or just after attention. Not even going to write what I think about her. Wonder if she's ever going to be embarrassed about what she's said.

Must go back and read thread now as I've missed loads! Pram I too have that something-used-my-mouth-as-a-toilet taste. I eat up get rid of it and it comes straight back. Anything fatty makes it worse but apples seem to help. Ergh. Sorry to bring it up again - just wanted to say I have a friend who's husband gambled - not with money but taking BIG risks at work, while she was pregnant with her 2nd child. Totally unforgivable. He was found out and lost his job. Hope you're finding some peace with it all somewhere.

Apprentice, nothing in the news. I'm watching Four Weddings and her wedding was one of the four celebrity big days featured. If you're not familiar with the show, each bride attends each other's weddings and scores them and the winner wins a honeymoon (or charity cash for the celebs). KH had nothing nice to say about anybody or anything and was just bitchy and vile throughout. I was watching some videos of her ignorant, bigoted rants on Youtube last week and I just think she's a disgusting person. And some crazy person married her!

I like Katie Hopkins simply because she has this tremendous ability to wind women up everywhere. Why take her words as real? She plays a publicity game and she has to play high stakes. She has to be outrageous and inflammatory or she would wither away and die. What's she said now?

Booking in is pretty much form filling, blood and wee tests, medical history etc. It's to get you booked into the system of the hospital you choose to have your baby at. I asked the midwife for a sneaky listen to the heartbeat if she had a doppler handy, which was lovely.

Apprentice, did you see KH's rant about children named Tyler and the like on This Morning? I watched it on YT. Holly Willoughby eventually loses patience with her and she seems most put out

Breaking Bad has made it on what? I'm up to season four on Netflix. I agree it's amazing telly.

thanks all. The brown spotting has increased, and I feel quite heavy in my womb area. It's also quite stringy. Have been to the GP who did a swab, and has suggested ringing the EPU again in the morning. I will report back if there is any news.

Feeling pretty fed up as I have been to hospital twice with morning sickness, and now having this which I am feeling very pessimistic about. Somehow it seems really really unfair.

Poor you becca. If it is any consolation, I had a lot to brown spotting with heavy period type pain. EPU brought me in for a scan (9 weeks) and all was fine. Basically there is a lot of activity going on at this stage of pregnancy and it can cause aching and light bleeding. Try get EPU to do you a scan. Hope all is ok.

gawjus congrats on your scan - you must be feeling relieved. You said something about 1.1mm.. Did you mean 1.1 cm, or were you not talking about crown rump length?

beccadugs, I'm glad your GP is taking seriously at least; the epu can't fob you off after your doctor has recommended you call them, can they?? I do hope you get seen tomorrow; making you wait a week when you feel so awful is just not on.

I have my booking in appointment on Thursday, and STILL haven't thought about where I want to give birth. I really must get my expanding arse in gear; how easy is it to change your mind after the booking in appointment? It just seems such a long way away, to be making that decision already!
