Do love Aoife (pram it's 'eef-ah' ) just muddling I also love caoimhe ! but it's verging on unpronouncable. I used to love niamh but v common now but I dislike 'NEve" ...bastardisation of the original Wink imho.

Pram, I agree about waiting to see how you feel once the initial anger subsides (sorry to bring it up again).

Has anyone else been feeling movement? I'm feeling little flips and pops occasionally. Maybe once a day. Also getting Braxton Hicks already.

Oh, and to those who asked, today was supposed to be our last hearing for shared residency. XP has now applied for full residency for himself since finding out I'm PG. The bastard is punishing me for daring to be happy with someone else and is wiling to lie through his teeth to get his own way. It's now likely to drag on and on, for several more months at least.
I won't bang on about this as its not really relevant to the thread but thanks for caring. You're a lovely lot. X

Thanks everyone for your support.

Will be v insistent with the EPU tomorrow, and point out that I have had this left side pain for six weeks, and it kept me awake last night. (Have had a scan pre first bleed, so not ectopic) sickness still raging on. Am home now, after lovely club class crossing on the ferry (DH treated me as I got a bit panicky at the ferry hoards) we only went for a day trip to buy DH trainers and do a big supermarket shop Blush

Have everything tightly crossed for you mortified

I'm definitely pregnant this morning. Have been really happy in the last few weeks about not letting it affect office life but today I'm half dead between the sickness and the insomnia Sad I'm never making it into the office like this.

Morning everyone hope youre feelin a little better mort and becca ive been having sharp pains in my foof!

12 week scan today!!! ahhh so nervous i was really sick this morn sure was cos of nerves havent been sick in a few days. Sooo scared :( im working 7-2 then scan at 3 keep fingers toes eyes arms crossed for me xxx

Anyone else unable to sleep? Prospect of scan this morning not helping but the last week has been dogged by difficulties getting to sleep, being unable to get comfy and waking at the crack of dawn. Most annoying!

Thanks for all the good wishes. I don't think you need a sample for a scan, but you might if you are seeing the midwife.

Gawj - Don't think you need to take a sample but you'll have a fullish bladder for the scan so don't empty it until you know!

Ice - Fortunately not yet needing to get up to pee but I look forward to that as another disturbance. I'll get my pregnancy pillow out of the loft after the scan today, all being well, which might help.

Hot I feel unpregnant too, however then I realise that I'm so tired (8 hours sleep and I was still dozing off on the couch at 5pm) so there's definitely something going on :)

Teddy I'm going to buy some maternity jeans after my scan to celebrate if it all goes well. Can't wait, roll on Thursday.

I'm 12 weeks exactly today, feels like I've been pregnant forever. Suppose it doesn't help that I found out at 3.5 weeks.
