Just Shagging Grads, here is your shiny new Fred!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The last thread saw plenty of births and we've got loads of new Grads to add to the mix. Bring on the TMI posts, the midnight moans, the birthwatches and the pom poms!

Our stats thread is here, so if you find us, please add your stats too.

There is also a Just Mumming thread for grads of the grads thread

And if you want to find out what Just Shagging is about or catch up with the undergrads go say hello to the Just Shaggers here, now on the 17th thread.

Crikey Frog (will ignore the fact that I hate queue jumpers!) Good luck sweet! xxx

Rockchick1984 · 01/09/2013 09:45

Squeeeeeee good luck Frog!! Hope your little tadpole arrives quickly and with as little pain as possible!!

PrincessKitKat · 01/09/2013 10:30

roodles84 · 01/09/2013 12:45

cookielove · 01/09/2013 13:27

Hello all, wowser frog have fun Grin

Kittenkatzen · 01/09/2013 18:34

Evening shaggers Smile frog squeeeeeeeeeee!! Hope things are moving for you now!

Had 38wk appt this morning, all looking good. I'm happy to have made the 1st September new school year so operation baby eviction will now be commencing, starting with nachos, spicy salsa and jalapeños eaten whilst bouncing on the birth ball Grin

hooya how are you enjoying mat leave? It must be so exciting/terrifying having an exact date and time when you're going to become parents!

Sending anti-pukey vibes to all you ladies suffering with sickness, the glowing stage will be upon you before you know it!

frogchops · 01/09/2013 20:45

Not much is happening kitten :-/.... Contractions aren't substantial and not regular....I'm hardly feeling anything and I'm stressed about being induced! :-/

Rockchick1984 · 01/09/2013 20:57

Get bouncing on a gym ball, walking up and down stairs, DON'T have a bath as this can slow things down. Good luck, you need to keep us all updated!

Hooya · 02/09/2013 04:28

Good luck frog, hope those contractions got going!

kitten that's great you made it to Sept, and good luck getting that baby out now! See if you can queue jump along with frog!

Here it's lovely - DP is now on paternity leave so we're both enjoying some chilled out time and doing final preparations. And eating too much!

Also looking for some advice - how many babygros / outfits should we have at each size? I don't think we've bought that much but not really sure...

Kittenkatzen · 02/09/2013 04:57

Poor you frog, must be so frustrating Sad

hooya we've really not bought much in the way of clothes either - I think we've got 10 or so in newborn/first size, then maybe 15 or so in up to 3 months, and a few random 3-6 mth bits...all a mixture of vests, babygros and sleep suits. Our thinking was that cute outfits will most likely be the gift of choice from friends/family once baby arrives (plus we got a bit bored of buying everything in white!)

PS - a lesson learnt tonight....3/4 of a jar of extra hot jalapeños + pregnancy constipation = bad idea! Ouch!

PrincessKitKat · 02/09/2013 11:21

How are you getting on Frog? What news?!

Oooh Kitten, ouch. I have just been reminiscing normal pre-pregnancy poos on another thread. I thought it might get easier as the weeks pass - is that not the case? Confused

frogchops · 02/09/2013 12:12

Still waiting for something substantial to happen Hmm
Re poos, I'm sure they got easier, much easier, tmi, but then got harder! Poss coincided with me taking more iron, though.

Nessalina · 02/09/2013 22:07

Ha! Sorry Kitten but I'm proper giggling at the jalapeño disaster Grin
I long for the day my bowel gets back into some sort of rhythm!!!
Really hope things get moving for you soon frog, I imagine the waiting is pretty stressful!
We had a bit of drama today, had some spotting yesterday so rang EPU and booked in for a scan today. This morning bleeding was worse so called in sick (cat is out of the bag with work now, but boss surprisingly lovely!). DH managed to get time off for scan and off we went - luckily all looks fine! Tiny little blob with a heartbeat Grin Tech said looked like small haemorrhage on side of sac but nothing to worry about. So relieved.
Scary though. We left and hugged, then DH was like 'woah. This shit just got real!' Shock

Kittenkatzen · 03/09/2013 07:29

Ha, I agree with frog on the poo situation - it did get easier and then harder, but I was also put on iron which definitely had something to do with it!

Good news from the scan ness, that must have been scary for a while there. Hope you're resting up a bit today.

PrincessKitKat · 03/09/2013 08:19

Oh no Ness, scary. But so pleased your & your baby are ok Smile

Still no news from Frog? Or do you think she's busy with her new baby & having a big sleep?!

Hooya · 04/09/2013 10:28

Scary ness but very glad all is well!

Hope frog is ok too!

I am finding it hard to know whether to be excited or scared or what, and whether I want Tuesday to hurry up or never come!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 04/09/2013 15:14

frog squeeeee, c'mon froggy baby!

ness glad the scan went well.

Poo-wise, mine are totally unpredictable. Yesterday I went FOUR TIMES. FOUR. Sometimes I don't go for four days. I have come to fear poo. And yes, I am slightly Hmm at the amount I now talk about poo.

OP posts:
Kittenkatzen · 04/09/2013 15:39

Don't talk to me about poo...I'm sure I was in actual poo-labour earlier on. Ouch Confused

hooya Tuesday will be here before you know it and then you'll be cuddling your squidgy newborn wondering what you were ever worried about!

PrincessKitKat · 04/09/2013 16:39

Grin poo labour!

It's so exciting Hooya! It must be like waiting for Christmas (but a bit more intense!) Are you all ready?

frogchops · 04/09/2013 21:04

A tadpole (Finley joseph george) was born yesterday at 23:59! Traumatic long labour ending in emcs but he's totally worth it. ;)

thethreeblondies · 04/09/2013 22:51

Congratulations Frog glad he got here safely (and in the end that's all that matters!) enjoy your newborn snuggles they really don't stay small for long xxxx

PrincessKitKat · 04/09/2013 22:58

Congratulations Frog & welcome Finley! Thanks

notsoold · 04/09/2013 22:59

Congratulations frog!!!!

Hello everyone else...I am lurkig as always! :)

Hooya · 04/09/2013 23:31

Hooray frog! Sorry you had a tough labour but hopefully all worth it now!

Kitten I am really laughing at poo labour, I've had it more than once. A good deal of trepidation when I can feel one like that coming!

Humpty I know what you mean too about unpredictability... No-one really talks about the poo issues of pregnancy do they?

Princess it is just so strange waiting! I can't think of a time I've felt this mix of excitement and terror! kitten I really hope you're right and it goes fast, though also not as then there'll be a baby to look after and aaaaaaargh etc! sorry making very limited sense here

notso how are you?
