Grin Boo. I get excited about all sorts of weird shit!!

I had a dressing gown and slippers from the white company bogey weren't the best idea with a 10 week old pup Wink

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 18/08/2013 10:27

Grin is bogey a new brooker, or what otis did to your dressing gown Wink I do love your imps fingers Maybe

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/08/2013 11:21

Oh Boo I'm a nightmare!!! I shouldn't be allowed a phone!!! Blush Grin

keepitgoing · 18/08/2013 17:24

Is a comforter a duvet?

Just back from IKEA, v tired, but have to cook a roast. Didn't buy anything baby related, still....

When I walk at a fast pace my bump tightens. Is this BH? I don't think so as its not as much as post-dtd. But should I worry? Mw said just walk slower... But I'm finding it hard to change how I do thinks. I'd say its only in the last 2 weeks that I feel I'm pregnant, in that its affecting me. Old time brookers what do you think of bump tightening?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 18/08/2013 20:25

I would say a tightening bump with no pain certainly is BH. They can feel different to an orgasm tightening at least they did to me :)

Blush Boo

Keep this is the boy comforter and girl comforter

Maybe has a bogey, Maybe has a bogey Wink

Been to a christening today so loads of questions about our babies. From the names we are going to choose to the birth I am expecting. Interesting day to say the least.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/08/2013 21:41

Oh Sweetie they are too cute!!

I have many a bogey tinged slightly black by the joy of the underground

That must have been awkward Sweetie. As if you want all and sundry to know the ins and outs (so to speak)

Keep how strange that must feel. Our bodies are clever little things.

keepitgoing · 18/08/2013 21:47

V cute sweetie!!

boo I think we all know rather too much about each other... Let's block all that stuff out when we meet.

I hate black bogeys!

keepitgoing · 18/08/2013 21:48

maybe for ages I was mad at my body for not getting pregnant :(
Now I love it. It's so clever. And I seriously love being pregnant :)

ThedementedPenguin · 18/08/2013 21:58

sweetie they are gorgeous. Think I might buy one. Have you had your nhs scan? Did/will you ask again about sex?

I have had a great weekend. Weather has been nice. Went away today then to my Dps aunties house for a BBQ. I actually met all his mums family. Took him just over 2 years :) although was dreading meeting one as she was a right bitch about me.

I'm so exhausted though so I'm in my bed.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 18/08/2013 22:18

I WAS having a good weekend, DH has just caught me out on FB buying 3 coats for K Blush in my defence, £30 for a beautiful Monsoon coat, Jasper Conran snow suit and a Jasper Conran faux fur coat, should be all the coats she needs from 6-18 months. He is not happy :( I'm not bothered, they're beautiful Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/08/2013 22:32

Keep you're so right. I'm hoping once I get to the 12 week mark I will start to enjoy it more.

Boo just ignore him Wink I think they're an absolute bargain.

Hope you get some rest Pen!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 18/08/2013 23:20

Yes Maybe they are he clearly just doesn't understand Grin

keepitgoing · 19/08/2013 09:27

oh boo it's only £30! Tell him to chill out! I bet she'll look gorgeous.

maybe I think you will enjoy it more after 12 weeks. Are you still super nervous? When's your next anything? hey, have you got your free prescription card through yet? I haven't, and want to go to the dentist. I assume I'd need it, though they could just look at my tummy and believe I'm pregnant...

Right, we are off to the hospital for our 12 25 week appointment. I think we're pretty likely to get another look at Kip, so will have to avoid looking at any boy/girl bits, as I assume they'll be more obvious by now :) DH likes to sneak his hand on to my tummy into the night and get kicked, so it's just him and Kip hanging out, while I'm sleeping. Awww.

solars how has telling anyone gone? I was oddly reluctant to tell friends and acquaintances, having thought I'd be super keen I suddenly felt shy/private, but think i'm a bit odd, and did get over it. It was lovely to see friends at the weekend I've not seen since getting home and everyone admiring my bump :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/08/2013 09:59

Oh Keep, MrK sounds too sweet!! That's so cute. I'm gals you're enjoying your bump, it sounds amazing.

I still feel really nervous. I panic at every twinge, which just isn't like me normally. I have my booking in tomorrow and a scan at 10+4 next Thursday. Then my 12 week scan at 13+1 on the 16th September. Feel very, very sick today.

Boo has he stopped sulking yet Wink

keepitgoing · 19/08/2013 11:41

oh maybe... is that a private scan next week or one with your clinic? Remember that after your good 8 week scan the odds of miscarriage are 2% which is really low. There is loads going on down there, so twinges can only be expected. I thought it was weirder when I couldn't feel anything tbh.

From miscarriage association.org.uk: "A heartbeat at 8 weeks increases the chance of a continuing pregnancy to 98% and at 10 weeks that goes up to 99.4%."

keepitgoing · 19/08/2013 11:42

trix i meant to say that I love the jojo jeggings, esp for £7, but I find they are rather, um, low rise. I wear long tops but when I bend over I think I may show a bit of a builders bum....

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/08/2013 12:16

Not wrong with a bit of crack Keep Wink

It's a private one, but at our clinic. We decided we'd feel better if we did that. Thanks for the stats, that's a massive comfort. I hardly ever feel the twinges, so when I do, I focus on them it's nothing to do with the fact that I'm constipated

cartoontrickster · 19/08/2013 13:04

keep I agree with maybe haha.
I find mine gap at the back but there not particularly low rise on me. I wore them but by the end of the day they seemed to have stretched quote a lot. hopefully when I have more bump they will fit better. but for 7quid they are a bargain!

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 19/08/2013 13:05

OMG have just collected the coats, they're beautiful!! I'm forgiven for sure when he sees them (even though he actually forgave me last night and admitted I know what I'm doing) Grin

Loving all the bump, kicks and baby stuff talk I miss my bump Keep how sweet is Mr K! :):)

Enjoy your booking in tomorrow Maybe :)

SweetieTime · 19/08/2013 17:00

Boo we need photos of little K in her new coats, you don't want to be accused of being stingy with the photos do you? Wink

Keep hope all going well and you are getting scanned right now. Can I ask about the enjoying pregnancy, I am not not enjoying mine but it is sort of just happening IYSWIM. MrK is very sweet, Mr S never touches my bump but I will encourage him when the kicks can be felt.

Maybe hope the sickness has passed a bit. I had loads of twinges for ages, felt like period pains most of the time. I think it is really normal as Eric is settling in.

We had our NHS scan this morning, my Mum came with me and there were tears. They confirmed T1 is defo a boy, there was no missing it - he was stood to attention Blush she pointed it out twice. They were both very wriggly so maybe it is a good job I can not feel much. There was an amazing moment when girl twin faced the camera and we could see her little face really clearly. They are both bigger than a singleton at this stage I am on for jumbo twins and are measuring the same as each other so they were really pleased. I get scanned every 4 weeks from now to make sure they are growing well and one isn't getting bigger than the other.

cartoontrickster · 19/08/2013 17:06

sweetie how lovely! glad you had a really good scan. your so luckily they will still be giving you regular scans. I'm so excited about your twins! Grin

ThedementedPenguin · 19/08/2013 18:19

boo yes share some pictures when the coats are on.

keep did you get a scan? Did you get your green notes?

sweetie my Dp never touched my belly. I tried to encourage him lots when ds was moving but he wasn't interested. Said it was gross. I loved it so didn't care. However, I hated anyone else touching me. My dad who I don't get on with anyway seen me in a shop last August so I was nearly due and put his hands on my stomach and I went nuts.

Oh sweetie your scan reminds me of one I had when I was roughly 30 weeks and the consultant tried to measure ds' legs but couldn't get past the willy. No matter what way she went about it, there it was in all its glory on the screen. Thankfully I knew what I was having otherwise it was a dead giveaway.
