Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I thought the hair stuff was because your hair can react differently to dye/etc it doesn't affect the baby.

Ninunina · 16/08/2013 21:37

Sounds like you might have it the worst Choc. Hope you feel better soon. How long were you sick for last time?
I thought I was going to be lucky this time and escape feeling sick but I've just had the second massive puking session of the day. I'm feeling pretty horrid this evening so I don't envy you feeling like this all the time. When did you start feeling so sick?

With regards to dying hair, I found highlights much better since it doesn't touch the scalp. When I had my hair dyed whilst pg it caused my scalp to react and had to be removed quickly.

BoobsTooBig · 16/08/2013 22:29

FairyPants- Thank you

Definitelysometime · 16/08/2013 22:33

Oh choc you poor thing. I can't even imagine how awful that must be. I'm amazed you're even making it into work. How many weeks were you last time when it eventually eased off? Is there a light at the end of the dark tunnel anytime soon? Really hope you're able to rest up this weekend Flowers

I've got my early private scan at 12:30 tomorrow. Meep! Really nervous and excited.

prettyinpink90 · 16/08/2013 22:43

Thanks for the hair advice ladies Smile everything I read points to it being ok to highlight but I will speak to my hairdresser so she can take any necessary precautions.
definitley good luck for your scan tomorrow!

bunnygoesbang · 16/08/2013 23:01

He hair dye is more to do with the fact you are more likely to have an allergic reaction. There is no evidence what so ever that it has any effect on the baby. Think about how many women due their hair today.
I have flame red hair and have dyed it all the way through last pregnancy and will be this time.

Choc you sound dreadful I get bad days but I also get good days.today was awful and I just wanted to cry all day so kudos to you for dealing with it 24/7.

I hated everyday up to my early scan constantly went to the loo and was convinced they wouldn't see anything or it was growing in the wrong place. The day before I thought I was going to stress myself into a heart attack I was a wreck

Nessalina · 16/08/2013 23:02

I second Fairypant's judgement Boobs Smile I did a CB digi at 3+5 and it came up 1-2 weeks which I knew was right coz I knew when I OV'd. So sounds like you're spot on at 2-3 weeks coz the CB's are always two weeks behind reality Grin I've saved a CB for next week just to make sure things are moving onwards!

Nessalina · 16/08/2013 23:03

Wow Choc sounds awful!!! When did it start? Keeping fingers crosses that I don't have it to come!! Shock

leanne239 · 16/08/2013 23:17

nessalina.....I have also saved a digital test for next week Grin

Lollol87 · 17/08/2013 07:10

H pretty, I'm going to have my hair highlighted today as well, I'm not stressing about it as its a regular thing that I do and I've never had any kind of reaction to it before.
Is anyone else feeling extremely tearful at the moment? I started crying at something stupid last night and ended up almost hysterical Hmm

LeeHandy · 17/08/2013 07:42

choc, you are really having a tough time. I hope this doesn't last through out the pregnancy for you? Brew Thanks

Boomgoestheweasel · 17/08/2013 07:43

Morning, may I join you? Got my BFP last week and terrified, it's taken us 15 months, a mmc and clomid to get here so can't enjoy it yet. This will be #1 and due date is somewhere around 23rd April if all goes according to plan, hoping the GP will refer me for an early scan but think it's unlikely!

boldlittlebird · 17/08/2013 08:05

Did another ClearBlue this morning with FMU and got my 3+ nearly instantly, within about 10 seconds! Woop!!

Still having weird brown discharge (sorry, TMI) but as it's not getting any worse and isn't accompanied by anything else, I'm going to ignore it. It's all it deserves Smile

Thinking about booking in for a private early scan next week.

Haven't felt sick at all for the last two days, but my memory is now so bad that I'm seriously thinking of carrying a notebook everywhere with me! I'm constantly walking into rooms/opening cupboards/picking up the phone and then realising I've no idea why. I can't even hold a short shopping list in my brain, I wake up out of a daze and find myself staring blankly at the eggs or wandering aimlessly round the veg aisle Grin

Does anyone else have an insane sense of smell? Cigarette smoke fills the entire world, the smell from the municipal tip 5 miles down the road is now overwhelming, and yesterday I was bothered by the smell of washing powder on the clothes of someone who was over a metre away!

PS Hi boomgoestheweasel, big big congratulations on your BFP!

Lollol87 · 17/08/2013 08:07

Hello boom, congratulations and nice to meet you! Everyone here is really nice and helpful! I'm due 17th April with my first also!
How are you feeling?

Lollol87 · 17/08/2013 08:12

Bold! I am exactly the same, I was in the post office yesterday and the smell of the man next to me made me seriously want to gag!
I can't remember a thing and keep doing things twice because I forget I have done them! Grin
I'm all over the place emotionally, keep laughing then crying them getting irrationally cross about silly things that wouldn't normally even bother me!
I'm like a crazy woman!!!

Vikkijayne2507 · 17/08/2013 08:18

congrats more bfps! im the same with smells really random stuff like tomato juice that's been bajes thata making ne feel sucj thinking about it. my boobs remain paindul and have done from implantation time. dtd the other day and tmi I know but super sensitive really buce one minute agony the next. oh waa very good though abd figured out how to not hurt me bless him he looked so hurt when I yelled in pain. has anyone else found they fubd anything heavy like his head on my stomach really uncomfortable and a but hurty. im guessing it's nature's way of telling me not to do it. 6 + 5 today

boldlittlebird · 17/08/2013 08:30

ha ha ha lollol87, we are madwomen! I am very ratty, my poor DH Smile

vikkijayne, only DTD once since BFP owing to combo of DH working late and me being constantly knackered or wigging out about brown discharge. Sexy!

Sorry to hear you're getting pain, maybe it will get better? Or maybe OH will just need to adjust his technique Grin

Lollol87 · 17/08/2013 08:37

Oh no vikki that's annoying for you! Bu I think bold is right, just tell him to try harder! Hehe
Am I being really stupid? I can't work out what all your abbreviations are guys? Blush is there a list I should learn? Whoops! Ha

Tea1Sugar · 17/08/2013 08:40

4+2 still no real symptoms Hmm

bunnygoesbang · 17/08/2013 08:46

Morning all.

I'm convinced the water from my tap has a funny smell lol

Really sicky and banging head again. I have been proactive and got up straight away and had cereal for the first time in years. Really didn't want it but if I don't eat the sickness gets worse. Please let this help. Also taken paracetamol for headache which doesn't want to go.

Roll on 12 weeks when I will hopefully feel better.

My boobs are super painful and even bigger. They are waking me at night and I can't get comfortable with them at all

Boomgoestheweasel · 17/08/2013 09:21

Thanks for the welcome all Grin

Lol I'm feeling ok thanks, not much to report in the way of symptoms here, feel hungry/slightly sick and am burping lots (I'm such a lady) and boobs are sore and already ballooning to epic proportions but that's all. But then I'm still pretty early on. How about you? Not really noticed any change in smells I have to say!

ThedementedPenguin · 17/08/2013 09:31

7 weeks today.

Strange how time can feel to pass so quick yet so slow at the same time. Lol

How is everyone?

I've not really got any symptoms. I've found ways to ease the bloating so thankfully I've not experienced it I'm a few days. Hopefully ill keep that up.

What is everyone's plans today?

Trinpy · 17/08/2013 09:42

morning everyone. 6+4 and my symptoms are coming and going. Good to know I'm not the only one! I had a complete panic on Thursday due to lack of symptoms, did a pregnancy test Blush , and even contemplated calling my midwife to sob down the phone to her. Woke up yesterday morning with boobs like Jordan that were so sore and realised how silly I was being. Back to no symptoms again today though.

I haven't been around for a few days but I've caught up on everyone's posts. Congratulations to the lucky people who've had an early scan and seen a heartbeat. Really exciting! And hello to the new people Smile .

dirtyface · 17/08/2013 10:28

4+4 today

i still can't believe it TBH and feeling weird about it all as i miscarried (MMC) last time and i am so scared of it happening again :(

did YET ANOTHER test yesterday (have done 5 now lol) was a clearblue digital test and it put me at 2 - 3 weeks since conception. there was 2 in the pack so am going to do the other one in a few days to see if it puts me at 3 weeks + ...as i think i conceived 3 weeks ago tomorrow Blush

but i know if it still says 2 - 3 weeks i will be freaking out with worry that somethings wrong

i wonder if i will be offered a scan any earlier than 12 weeks because of MC'ing last time. if not, i will just pay for a private one.
