Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
prettyinpink90 · 15/08/2013 22:26

Hi lol congratulations on your BFP Smile

Lollol87 · 15/08/2013 22:36

Thanks pretty, it's soo good to tell someone!
I'm so bloated Im trying to wear loose tops to hide my Stomach soon one guesses to early and I'm soo tiered all of the time, does anyone else feel the same? This is the latest I've been awake all week!

Definitelysometime · 15/08/2013 22:59

Ooh, I do hope so leanne. Bring on the big babies that just pop out like peas Grin

Hi lol and congrats! Can definitely sympathise with the emotion rollercoaster. I cried four times on Tuesday evening over absolutely nothing!

Ninunina · 15/08/2013 23:15

Great news about your scan bunny. I'm sure you'll be sleeping easy tonight.

Congratulations and welcome to all the newbies. Leanneis so nice to hear that you conceived after such a long time.
I just had a very scary experience. I had people over for dinner and I was sitting down at table when suddenly it felt like my heart skipped a few beats and then I felt really dizzy and had to really control myself not to collapse. It passed after a few moments and I quickly got back to normal but I'm a bit shaken up. I'm scared that it will happen again when I'm standing, driving or holding DD. Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I go see my consultant? I'm due to see him in 2 weeks time but I might move my appointment forward.

Tea1Sugar · 16/08/2013 01:18

I can't sleep - again - and just cried at Deal or No Deal Blush

greentshirt · 16/08/2013 06:24

I didn't sleep very well last night either sugar, it's pretty unheard of for me to be up at this time! The night before I had a mammoth sleep though so maybe I'm being paid back!

First night out tomorrow where I'll not be drinking when I definitely normally would have been! DH lamely suggested the antibiotic excuse which won't wash with anyone of course! Think I'm going to drink water with a raspberry in it and pass it off as raspberry vodka and lemonade!

prettyinpink90 · 16/08/2013 07:25

Morning ladies!
lol same symptoms as you, feel awfully bloated and gassy Blush and I'm so tired all the time.
green it's my first night out after my BFP tomorrow night too! I've been trying to come up with a decent excuse but still thinking... Going to drink soda and lime or lime and water and hope that nobody notices there's no vodka in it!

leanne239 · 16/08/2013 07:29

Morning all

what a rubbish sleep I had, I got up this morning and first thing I did was check the pregnancy test was still positive lol. I feel absolutely shattered, and am starting my new job tomorrow, and my first shift would be a night one, so this could prove interesting.

Has anyone started getting morning sickness yet? I felt sick yesterday but really am unsure if it was just down to my head telling me that's how I should feel lol x

boldlittlebird · 16/08/2013 07:46

Hello hello hello,

No increase in spotting today so feeling a bit more positive - plus I looked at the 'normal' HCG ranges in What to Expect and can't see how Clearblue can possibly be completely accurate with time since conception! The ranges are absoultely enormous and overlap massively. Going to try another test with FMU tomo.

Nessalina, I'm getting used to Redbush tea, but also find Yogi spice tea makes a really nice evening substitute - no milk but a little bit of sugar, mmm!

Leanne, I get nausea on/off - some days a couple of hours, some days nothing. It seems that anything between 'feel fine' and 'head glued to toilet' is normal.

boldlittlebird · 16/08/2013 07:46

Oh, and it's massively exacerbated by worry. As soon as I start to worry or get stressed, start to get sicky!

Lollol87 · 16/08/2013 08:09

Hi Leanne, I'm the same as bold, Sunday I spent the whole day with my head down the loo but other days its only slight for a few hours, most mornings I wake up feeling sea sick tho, so I keep a packet of ginger biscuits by my bed! Blush

coffeewineandchocolate · 16/08/2013 08:10

hi lolo we are due date buddies :-)

I'm also really struggling to sleep thanks to being uncomfortable, dh sitting and weird dreams!

I have had similar symptoms ninu. I had fluttering in my chest, almost like palpitations very early in pregnancy. I think it is fairly common. Mine came on more often when I was tired or my blood pressure was low. Maybe you have been overdoing it.

Is anyone in W.Yorkshire?

dirtyface · 16/08/2013 08:21

morning all and welcome to the new ladies x

i feel awful today, really bad nausea Envy

Hi dirtyface, ohh I feel for you, have you tried something minty? That seams to help me. Are you actually being sick or just feeling icky (don't get me wrong thats just as crappy) but a little less obvious if your at work!

Hi wine, whoooo! I wonder if there is anyone else with our date on here! Anyone, 17th April? Grin

prettyinpink90 · 16/08/2013 08:47

bold so glad you are feeling more positive this morning Smile
leanne I've not had any morning sickness yet, although I've felt a little nauseous on the odd occasion. It's something I think you expect when pregnant so I've started to panic a bit.
dirty hope you feel better soon!

bunnygoesbang · 16/08/2013 09:11

Glad you are happier bold.

I too am struggling with a full nights sleep I get to sleep easy but wake often to go to the bathroom, because I'm having a nigh sweat, to be sick, my hands have gone numb and because my boobs hurt lol no wonder we are all so tired.

Sickness comes and goes same as the others. I feel sick most days in the morning and at night. Other dad I just keep being sick. My diet is awful as there's so much I just can't stand the thought off so pretty much living off cereal bars and one meal a day

NorthKate · 16/08/2013 10:07

Hi!

I'm 5+5 with my first pregnancy. Very excited but very scared. Is it normal to be constantly anxious about the risk of miscarriage, can't stop thinking about it Confused

prettyinpink I havent had any nausea or sickness either and am the same because you are expecting it, you think there is something wrong. It could still start yet tho I suppose.

greentshirt · 16/08/2013 10:11

Hi Kate, I'm 5+5 too! I worry all the time, it's hard not to!

Tea1Sugar · 16/08/2013 10:16

Eek gp has referred me for an early scan to check for multiples Blush Both my parents are twins and dp's dad is a triplet. Gulp!

Erekkkk for you tea1sugar

bunnygoesbang · 16/08/2013 10:26

Eri I don't think anyone is daft enough to share details of their children and street address on a website of with a total stranger and I don't think it's appropriate to ask. I can not see any university supporting this type or way if questioning either

prettyinpink90 · 16/08/2013 10:45

kate glad it's not just me! I'm a constant worrier and my oh keeps telling me off got being so negative. Congratulations Smile
tea1 eeeekkk for you but how exciting!

Is anyone else obsessed with POAS? I can't stop buying them to check its still there!

greentshirt · 16/08/2013 11:04

Pip I started being obsessed with poas and have done it twice since the 1st bfp. However now I don't bother because I'm frightened of a mmc when I think you would still get a positive anyway. Probably not helpful but has saved me a fortune in tests!
