Hello, mind if I tentatively join? Got my BFP 2 days ago, promptly followed by spotting today :( It is brown though rather than fresh (sorry if TMI), so hopefully it's nothing serious but I have also had a few pinchy-type cramps on my left side. I have docs tomorrow morning; fear this is going to be a very long night....

Vikkijayne2507 · 13/08/2013 21:21

congrats tea. nice to see new bfps.

ive not been weeing as much. bought a maternity bra as my boobs were really painful it feels soo much better they feel less painful today. I have had a few cramps today and diarrhoea this morning sorry for tmi. im hoping that's all normal

cookielove · 13/08/2013 21:23

Emily it feels like its gonna take for ever to get to 12 weeks, but hopefully it will fly by Smile

Hello wicked fx it will be all ok!!

ChocChaffinch · 13/08/2013 21:42

Hi Emily and Tea :-)

a very naice doctor has given me drogos. Muy bueno drogos.
cyclizine, so hope that it works. Just so exhausted with puking.

sorry to hear about the fainting! that sounds v hazardous, esp when walking downstairs! eek.

hope everyone is feeling good this evening

Wickedwiggle86 · 13/08/2013 21:45

Thanks cookie, luckily I have recently started watching 30 Rock and have another 5 and a half seasons to keep me occupied!

bunnygoesbang · 13/08/2013 21:52

Had diarrhoea loads every morning like clockwork for the last three weeks. Gp says its fine and normal for all those worrying and 5-10% of pregnant ladies get it. Sometimes it stays throughout not just the early days. Spoke to one of my closest friends and she did with her second but otherwise had a smooth pregnancy

iloveweetos · 13/08/2013 21:54

Hi thanks :) read online that amoxicillin is fine during pregnancy
I had cyclisine(sp?) when pregnant with DD1 and helped massively so fingers crossed! X

Ninunina · 13/08/2013 22:05

Congrats teaand wicked! April 2014 is sure going to be a busy month. Sending you some extra strong glue wicked. It's probably just some break through bleeding that is causing the spotting so hopefully nothing to worry about if it remains brown.
I'm 5+3 today and feeling relatively decent. My nausea has remained at slight waves of nausea but no actual vomiting so I'm thinking I may be lucky enough to escape the full on sickness this time (last time I puked 7 + times a day, everyday for 20 weeks). My boobs are massive today and have a swollen round belly. My DH thinks I can't hide my secret anymore. I was hoping I wouldn't need to buy any summer maternity clothes but I think I might be in it sooner than I thought. Maybe going out for dinner 4 times in 1 week hasn't helped though.

MissYamabuki · 13/08/2013 22:14

Choc so glad you got some meds. Hopefully they will kick in soon. I had cyclizine throughout my pregnancy with DD - it made me feel zonked out but it was the only thing that kept me out of hospital and away from the drip.
bunny very reassuring to hear that diarrhoea is common... I was wondering what on earth has been going on with me the last few days! Blush
Does anybody know what causes the dizziness? Never had this in my first pregnancy, it's low level but odd! My dr seemed to think it's too early to feel dizzy Hmm so they took my bloods to look for anaemia great

bunnygoesbang · 13/08/2013 22:21

It could be your blood pressure was it checked and was it low? Early and end of pregnancies can cause a dip and make you dizzy.
It could be you aren't eating enough as well other than that I don't know. I feel dizzy but only when I feel really sick I feel like I am on a boat at times

Wickedwiggle86 · 13/08/2013 22:23

Thanks Ninunina, I feel a little bit better now. I just need to stop googling! Fingers crossed the nausea stays manageable for you; I didn't even know it was possible to throw up that much in one day!

MissYamabuki · 13/08/2013 22:27

bunny I'm definitely eating enough for seven two so it must be the BP! Smile

OrangeLilyLady · 13/08/2013 22:46

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who is bloated, thanks for the reassurance bunny, Bart and green.

I'm starting to wonder how I'm going to keep my pregnancy a secret until after the first trimester as I'm already looking so much bigger with this bloated belly. I look about 12 weeks already.

Just wondering what stage everyone else is at, would it be a good idea if we all put how many weeks/days gone we are on each post? What does everyone think?

Also just wondering how people get others names in bold??

Hey all! Congrats to new people since I was last on - there sure are a lot of us! Grin
I'm only 3+6 and I feel HUGE. Very windy & bloaty - very sexy... I can't imagine I'll be up for DTD for quite some time yet, but I'm sure DH will cope.
No sickness yet, but absolutely ravenous - keep getting the occasional feeling that I MUST eat something immediately. Trying to have healthy snacks to hand, but I'm a big pig, so I'll be shocked if I don't put on quite a lot of weight Hmm

Orange, you do it by putting a directly before and after the word or phrase. Like: word * but without the spaces!

OrangeLilyLady · 13/08/2013 23:54

Thanks Nessalina

Tea1Sugar · 14/08/2013 06:01

Morning all - absolutely shocking night sleep, up to wee umpteen times and in such a state of surreality about my bfp. Since Saturday I've been having diarrhoea with cramps. Should I be concerned?

KittyKK · 14/08/2013 06:03

Morning ladies,

Congrats Tea! Saw your name on the August bus....glad you've also jumped across :)

Today I'm only 4w4d! I got my BFP 8 days ago.....meaning an incredibly longgggggg wait till EDD! Still POAS every morning lol.

My Dr gave me antibiotics on Monday for a UTI. Took 1 tablet and then read the leaflet in the box....."do not take in pregnancy, especially during first trimester". So now I've resorted to drinking gallons of water as a remedy!

Confession time.....I've already bought 15 maternity dresses, 8 maternity tops, 2 maternity cardigans, 1 pair of maternity leggings. A little excessive, a little early, but all very exciting!

....and on a very positive note, I need to buy some new bras!!! As a life-long B-cupper, the need to look for a bigger bra is making me deliriously H-A-P-P-Y Flowers

KittyKK (4+4)

Fairypants · 14/08/2013 06:46

Tea - I think white a few of us have had diarrhoea too, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Kitty - that's some maternity haul! I also bought some clothes (not quite as muchBlush) ready for that day when I can't fit into anything. It's like a backup plan. makes me feel like this whole thing is real I got them off ebay last week and showed dd's but only told DH last night.

I can't believe I have another 6.5 weeks of trying to pretend everything is normal Confused
I'm so impatient!

BoobsTooBig · 14/08/2013 07:01

Hi, just got my BFP and I have to say I'm numb... I feel dreadful for feeling nothing but I suffered a miscarriage last month at 7+2 and so I guess it's my body's way of protecting me emotionally as I was very emotionally attached to the last. sorry to be so gloomy... We did want to try again after and I thought I'd be over the moon but I'm just terrified and detached.
I really hope I start to feel somthing soon I feel awful for feeling this way.

Ninunina · 14/08/2013 07:03

My my kitty that sounds like a lot of maternity clothes. I pretty much made do with a couple of jeans, a few tops and a dress last time. It might not be such a bad plan to buy it early. I felt so fat last time that I didn't feel like buying clothes. Where did you find all these clothes? Is there a fabulous online shop I don't know about?

Emilycee · 14/08/2013 07:15

Smile morning everyone!

Should have gone for my morning jog but feeling a bit sick and dont fancy it... not sure whether I should have pushed through it or if its my body's way of telling me to take it easy?

Kitty you sound like me (shopaholic!) lol!

KittyKK · 14/08/2013 07:18

Fairy - Glad to hear that you've been shopping too! Really pleased with the available mat clothing selection....no 80's style tents in sight!

Need relaxed weekend wear, as well as formal office wear, so I've got a good mix from Topshop, ASOS, Isabella Oliver, Tiffany Rose, Eva Alexander, Hatch, David Lerner and Mama NYC :)

I've already chosen pram, nursery furniture, paint colour and fabric....as well as identified all of the other baby paraphernalia. Although DH has (sensibly) called stop on any of those purchases until later scans Hmm

Baby planning is just as much fun as wedding planning....if I had my own way, the nursery could be done by 8 weeks and hospital bag packed by 10 weeks ;)
