Definitelysometime · 12/08/2013 19:00

Oh golden, hope you are home OK and that bleeding has stopped. Put your feet up and get DH to run around look after you Brew

Goldenhandshake · 12/08/2013 19:04

Hi I am home now, still bleeding but its stayed pink and watery and seems to have slowed slightly, i put tissue in my underwear before leaving work so i could check on it when i got home, one small patch in an hour, about the size of a penny. Still there when i wipe though but no pains. If it hasnt stopped by morning i will ring back epau x

ChocChaffinch · 12/08/2013 19:06

haha cookie that's a little bit House on the Prairie!

hello new BFPs - Hi coffee I remember your name as I'm choc, there was Cookie, and Coffee Grin

well, today was the pukiest day ever. Lost my brekkie, lunch and had numerous just because pukes. Answered to the Asda man with crying eyes and puke on back of my hand where I'd hastily wiped my chops. Have been ill so many times even dd stopped asking why are you throwing up, mummy? she's over it haha.
just not thirsty anymore, and cant imagine drinking as have Litres of saliva in my mouth VILENESS don't want to give it a powerup by drinking. So now I have hydrophobia. great.
may get emerg doc apt tomorrow to beg demand cyclizine repeat prescript.

golden

it sounds like its stabilised, just have a restful evening, and a quiet day tomorrow?
Look after yourself, hope you are OK X Thanks

LeeHandy · 12/08/2013 19:13

choc Flowers, You sound really miserable. I would offer you chocolates or Brew but that may set you off again. Take care!

Misty9 · 12/08/2013 19:35

Evening all, and congrats to new joiners!

golden I know it's terrifying but try not to think the worst. I had bleeding on and off until about 21wks with ds. Apparently I have an ectropian cervix which makes spotting more likely. Just waiting for the stress of it to start this time.... Hope you're resting up.

I'm bloody starving all the time! Anyone else like this? I'm so hungry I have pangs and feel really light headed and dizzy. No matter how much I eat. I am at least craving healthy savoury stuff :)

greentshirt · 12/08/2013 20:26

Congrats to all the new ladies!

Lee, thats great news from your scan, bet you are so relieved!

I changed my booking in appt today, I was meant to be going at 6+5, early, but im going to struggle with getting time off work without telling anyone so that date is one where both of my bosses are out so could have snuck off without anyone asking any questions. When I originally rang to book the lady was a bit funny with me and said 'these appts are very precious, you must make sure you cancel if something happens between now and then' Which I completely understand but it was attitude all the same! Over the weekend I was chatting to my midwife friend and she said its better to book in later if poss because of them doing the CT (I think) measurement at the time. If I go too early they might make me have a blood test instead. So with that in mind I spoke to a very lovely lady this morn and have rebooked for the day I go off on hols (going to be a busy day!) when im 10+3. Will be hard to wait that long but will hopefully be better doing it that way!

BartBaby · 12/08/2013 20:27

choc I hope you feel better soon

golden like the others I have said i would go to the epu tomorrow. There is a website where it lists the ones in your area and whether you can self refer or if it needs to be go referral. If not defo check it with the go. Hugs for you.

lee I'm glad your scan went well Smile

I've felt totally pants the last 2 days. Been lurking but even too crappy to post Shock I've managed to avoid actually being sick yet but it's getting worse day by day. It sort of shifts between nausea and hunger. And if I don't eat at the right time I've missed the window and nausea again. I have had some lucozade today though and it's made me feel loads better! Will test it out in the morning when it's at it's worst.

Trinpy · 12/08/2013 20:35

hello to all the new people.

Sorry to hear about the bleeding golden, but at least it has slowed down now.

I had my first midwife appointment today Smile . Really excited to have got this far. She is calling me tomorrow to give me a time I can come in for my 12 week scan. So excited!!!

Goldenhandshake · 12/08/2013 20:38

Its almost tailed off now and is more a light brown colour so am feeling less anxious thank you all for the support and keeping me calm!

bunnygoesbang · 12/08/2013 20:41

Still go to the unit tomorrow if you have anymore bleeding and let them scan you.

My midwife appointment is next week. I'm struggling to make it to the scan on Thursday without going mental. I'm currently downloading relaxation apps lol

Goldenhandshake · 12/08/2013 20:46

I will do bunny thank you, i hope your apps work x

ChocChaffinch · 12/08/2013 21:05

cheers bartbaby

the ''window of opportunity'' for eating exactly! This is how Ive been explaining it to people. If you don't catch that 5-6 minutes where you feel purely hungry, it's too late.
Now though I think Ive reached the bit where HCG is so irritating my tummy I have to be sick, before preferably but if not, then after food, so the food is gone. Shit haven't taken folic yet.

Vikkijayne2507 · 12/08/2013 21:40

sorry to hear about all the nauseous and sickness.

I called the doctors this morning. Apparently until ive missed 2 periods they don't see me. I will now wait 2 weeks hopefully no period and then I see the midwife to get ball rolling

iloveweetos · 12/08/2013 22:11

Hopefully they see you quickly once you get to 2nd period Vikki. It kind of makes sense though, as I felt like my docs just took my word for it. Felt like I wanted them to say yes you are pregnant. Still doesn't quite feel real! Apart from feeling very tired and nauseated. Oh and boobs hurt a ridiculous amountConfused

ThedementedPenguin · 12/08/2013 22:17

Hi everyone.

Just checking in again and to report a new symptom.

Fainting. I fainted this morning at 5am while going downstairs. I've really hurt my left leg so been limping all day. When in the kitchen I almost fainted again but I had to lie down. Rang the doctor and they said is common during pregnancy during first 28 weeks. I'm hoping its a one off. Dreading it happening again.

Really hoping no one else has this.

bunnygoesbang · 12/08/2013 23:06

That's not good penguin. Do you have low blood pressure?
I have a box of cereal bars next to my bed and eat one as soon as my eyes open. This has helped with the sickness. It's also because my blood pressure is low and to stop me feeling so dizzy. Currently at 90/60 so have to have something in me. I only manage one meal a day really. Cant believe I have gone off chocolate Ang cake and only want savoury food preferably meat which for me is quite a change

greentshirt · 12/08/2013 23:25

Nessalina, pretty, writer and kate are coming to over from another thread to join us :)

Obviously I havent read any of the other threads, is April going to be an especially busy month? I would have thought it was quieter than usual due to the heat in July!! ;)

Nessalina · 12/08/2013 23:56

Hello! waves
Thanks for leading me in this direction Green!
Nice to see some familiar faces (the sweetie duo - Cookie & Choc Grin)
I'm 3 + 5, BFP yesterday, and I'm mainly in the dazed & nervous zone right now. Boobs are killing & I'm a little crampy.
Started reading this thread from the top then decided I should probably post & head to bed! Bit scary that two weeks ago a lot of you were all newly BFPed and feeling like I am now, and now you guys are two weeks along from me and the vom has got you already!! I have all this to come... Confused

coughingbeanintheoven · 13/08/2013 06:42

hope everything is ok this morning Golden x

iloveweetos · 13/08/2013 07:38

Penguin hope you're feeling ok x sounds daft but maybe keep a few sweets on you to keep your sugar up? Might help x

Goldenhandshake · 13/08/2013 08:19

Hi all, bleeding seemed to stop last night, this morning ive had some very pale brown discharge but minimal amount. Will be keeping an eye on it.

Penguin i fainted regularly in my last pregnancy, lucozade sweets were recommended by the midwife x

cookielove · 13/08/2013 08:20

Morning all :)

choc sorry to hear that you are so sick!!

When I went to the docs he took my blood pressure, and that was it didn't even do a test just took my word for it. I assume I'll hear by post about when my midwife appointment is?

cookielove · 13/08/2013 08:22
