They are on next day delivery so will have a fashion show tomorrow and put pics on facebook.

The highlight of my working day we have Pudsey the bear coming into store, omg i cannot take the excitement!

I have just recieved some lovely news my sister has her first date after 2 years of being single (not even a cheeky snog when she has been drunk) after her snake of an ex left her by Dear John letter out of the blue, she is 38 and me and my mum have been nagging her to get on internet dating for ages now. Anyway she met him at a wedding last week....I have my fingers crossed, she deserves a nice guy and some luck in her love life.

TheFalconsmistress · 19/07/2013 12:30

Good day ladies,

What i would give to be a size 8,10,12,14,or even 16 I got weighed when i was in hospital and i am now 18st 5lb which means I have almost put 2 stone on already and I am firmly a size 20 maternity or otherwise other than in next i still seem to be an 18 in there. I really hope i don't put too much more on I hope to get back to a relatively healthy 12st after birth it will be a long slog the more that goes on!!!

I have not been put on any meds natalie having a bmi of 40 is the magic number at my hospital and i think i have just got there now. They did give me a few injections of fragmen when i was in hospital though. I have vowed never to fall pregnant fat again (hopefully) Its so much hard work and docs seem to blame everything on a raised bmi its frustrating!!

Away to moan and mope and watch crap tv indoors today.

lol at desperate Dan mon

Grin Clapham.

I tried hula hooping on the Wii fit before and didn't really like it. The movement is completely different. Real hula hooping is a gentle back and forward rocking motion. Hooping on the Wii fit requires quite wide circular movements that resulted in back ache last time I tried. I need to do something as I'm getting quite flabby.

Natalieand · 19/07/2013 13:22

I am literally eating like a horse today! I can't decide what to eat next! I'm constantly starving.

What is everyone's weight gain at ATM in lbs/stones?

MotherOfNations · 19/07/2013 13:33

I out on 1st 7lb quite early on and haven't put on any more for quite a while now. I've been occupying myself by looking at all the lovely clothes I'm going to buy once I've lost the weight.

pinkbuttons · 19/07/2013 13:52

Sorry to those struggling today, ive just woken up from a 2 hr nap so think thats the only thing keeping me going at the moment although DH is back from his work trip this afternoon, thank goodness

warlin where are you going to get your pram fixed? ive got an icandy from when I had DS but it definitely needs some sort of MOT or something before using it with this baby, squeaky wheels and odd steering too.

I also have a wedding to go to next week. Really hoping the monsoon maxi dress I bought at 12 weeks still fits Confused

Have somehow only put on 10lb so far this pregnancy which is crazy to me after putting on 4 stone with DS, but think running around after a 2 yr old is doing the trick.

and finally just to say Wow its hot!! did someone say it was going to get up to 35 degrees next week ?!?

FeministInTraining · 19/07/2013 13:59

Looking forward to the fashion show Flyer and that's really nice news about your sister.

Shire I hope your FIL doesn't upset you, he doesn't sound v nice.

Just found this in case anyone is a calendar freak like me- I like seeing where I am so I can mentally tick off days. Funny that different places say the third trimester starts at different times though.

Natalieand · 19/07/2013 14:06

pink I saw on the news earlier it is meant to get up to 35 next week. This weekend is meant to be cooler but by that I mean 24-26 instead of 30 lol. I'm very Jel of your 2 hours nap!

legallyblond · 19/07/2013 14:09

Just back from scan / consultant appointment and I have a date for c section....!!! Monday 9 September! I'll be 37+2...! Can someone b87adb the chart? As ever, on iPhone...

Natalieand · 19/07/2013 14:12

Eeeek how exciting/scary legally how r u feeling about it? Also do they have to remove the stitch in your cervix? Bit random too ask I no lol

legallyblond · 19/07/2013 14:23

That's right Natalie, they'll remove the stitch once the babies are out, right at the end of the c section op... Eek!!

I meant update the chart by the way. Not sure what that collection of numbers/letters was all about!!

Natalieand · 19/07/2013 14:24

How prepared r u re: baby equipment? And how many weeks/days isit left for u now then?

MotherOfNations · 19/07/2013 14:27

I'm so jealous Legally I want a date to work towards. I'm going to push for my section to be done just after 37 weeks at my next appointment on the 26th. I wonder if I'll get my c-section date then

HotSoupDumpling · 19/07/2013 14:29

How exciting Legally! You will (hopefully) definitely be the first!

Am hoping to get a date for me ELCS at my 30 week appointment, so I can end the uncertainty.

HotSoupDumpling · 19/07/2013 14:32

(Sorry, by 'first', I mean the first of all of us)

legallyblond · 19/07/2013 14:33

Am totally unprepared re baby stuff! Since not thinking they would make it (or at least knowing there was a good chance they might not) at 23 weeks when I had the stitch, I've been a bit superstitious I gues.... Need to get shopping!!

roxvox · 19/07/2013 14:34

Congrats legally! I have now upated the chart. That must be scary to be suddenly given a date that's 3 weeks sooner than the one you've had in mind for so long (although I know you knew that it would be sooner than 40 weeks).

OP posts:
legallyblond · 19/07/2013 14:34

Hot soup - I also hope I'm the first, but could still easily not be...!

MotherOfNations · 19/07/2013 14:46

I've only got 10 weeks to go if I get my own way re dates. 11 weeks if not. It's starting to go really fast now.

I've just read that I'm not allowed to hula hoop for 6mths post c-section. I was relying on that to get my waist back too. I'll just need to rely on breast feeding and stress.

I read on another forum about women starting to express colostrum during pregnancy to give to their "heart babies" as it can be hard to establish breast feeding as they are often too week to suck effectively and tire easily and also may spend some time in intensive care.

JellyCurls · 19/07/2013 15:24

MoN I too love hula hooping, find it very calming. Me and dd have competitions as despite her problems she has rubber hips and is a hooping star. Checked out tesco website as that's where my weighted hula hoop is from and it says don't use in pregnancy but doesn't say why

MotherOfNations · 19/07/2013 15:32

I stopped doing it a few months before I got pregnant because one day while I was hooping in my bra and knickers in the bedroom Desperate Dan (or kinky bugger as he is now known) thought it would be really funny to video me on his phone. That in itself wasn't what bothered me it was the fact that he felt the need to show me it. The sight of my flabby belly and thighs shaking about wasn't pretty.

Shirehobbit · 19/07/2013 15:53

Aww, MoN! Part of yesterday's hen-do involved a belly dancing lesson - the dance instructor was amazing, but by no means a small girl. Watching her belly/hips/bum wobble was strangely mesmeric! But her charisma and confidence were inspiring.

Looks like I have a stay of execution with the FiL...but that is because the car has died Sad.
We're sat in a garage trying to assess the damage/work out what the hell to do about tomorrow's wedding. At this rate I'll not be making use of any of my outfits!

Sparkeleigh · 19/07/2013 16:09

Hi legally, good to hear from you and so exciting you have your date!

bridgit and roxvox one of the pregnancy process emails said that the baby will start to get hiccups at this stage (I'm 27 weeks today) do you think that could be what you're feeling? I was wondering how you'd tell hiccups from all the other movements!

roxvox I bought boots washable breastpads today at lunch and they're really thick. I've started wearing light sports bras but I can't wear the pads under them and strappy tops because they're so noticeable, which is annoying because I had a leaking emergency today and ran out and bought them just for that! Mortifying... thankfully one of the girls noticed and told me subtly, otherwise I'd have died of embarrassment because I was walking around all morning!

Thanks for the giggle MON Grin

Sorry to those that are feeling crap Flowers

Sparkeleigh · 19/07/2013 16:11

Opps, sorry MON cross post! I meant about the kinky bugger thing! Not the being videoed!

claphammama · 19/07/2013 17:41

so... according to Twitter, there is an increased police activity at the hospital and speculations that Kate and William might be on their way.

However, looking at The Telagraph's live webcam, the activity is quite disappointing... as we are all watching in the office. So far we've spotted one policeman...
