Lie = Your glowing vs Truth = Your sweating, freezing, puking and an emotional basket!

Lie = After the first trimester your ms will disappear vs The truth = It will be there in the second trimester and the third..... and probably after you give birth! Get used to it!

Lie = You don't look even look pregnant vs The truth = whatever, you look pregnant from space!

Lets see what we learn from the second trimester! Grin Wink

Am reading everyones maternity wear info with interest. Hope everyones Sunday's are going well. Off to make toasties. Thanks for letting me rant Smile

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 12:39

enormouse you can always rant to us! You know we will understand! What that cuntpuffin should have done is called you to say someone else wants your slot and asked if you were gonna make it this week! Not just do it! How rude! Shall we gather the group of hormonal preggers ladies we were gonna use for Tobys bitchface? Grin

Hope this week is a better week for you!!!

Good luck nature! Wink

Naturegirl82 · 07/07/2013 14:03

So I thought at 12 weeks you were meant to feel better. Not for me. Made it round the supermarket but felt proper shaky and nearly cried. Made it home and reversed the car into dp's car luckily it was very slowly so no damage. And now I've just vommed for the first time this pg. Feel utterly rubbish and typical it would happen when dp is away. Staying on the sofa now till I have to pick dp up from the airport. Feeling utterly sorry for myself Sad

Hope everyone else is having a better Sunday

BookTart · 07/07/2013 14:43

That is so out of order of your instructor enormouse, what an arse!

naturegirl, are you okay now? Is it pregnancy related or a bug/heatstroke/something else do you think?

Clothes-wise, although I bought some maternity jeans and leggings in New Look a couple of weeks ago, my bloat is now entirely gone and I'm back in pre-pregnancy clothes today. This is worrying me enormously of course!

The spotting that stopped yesterday suddenly came back with a vengeance at 3am, with lots of brown flecks and one very small clot (sorry for the TMI). That slowed down quite quickly and seems to have stopped now. The horrible backache is still there, but no other pain. I'm pleased things seem to have settled, but I have NO symptoms other than backache and a bit of constipation (TMI again, I'm obviously on a roll!) What can I do reassurance-wise? I've tried an iPhone app but can't hear anything (it is only meant to work from 20+ weeks and I'm only 13+5). Will my midwife be able to help? Or do I go straight for a private scan (without telling DP probably, he already thinks I'm a madwoman!)

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 14:55

nature poor you! Mine got worse around 12 weeks and am still rough in the evenings but these last few days I have started to finally feel less, nauseous and have my appetite back and am 15 +1, so I hope that gives u some hope....

book good things have settled again, but its very hard not to worry. For your own peace of mind I would be tempted to contact your MW and see if she can refer u for a scan. Have u had your 12 week scan yet? (sorry, brain like mush...) X

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 14:58

Omg the swimming pool was bliss! It was just the right temperature and I felt happy rather than grumpy which was fab! Grin Really must make the effort to go more often! Just watching the tennis, then off to the cinema this evening if I can stay awake and the nausea doesnt kick in

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 14:59

Anyone heard from pod? If you are lurking pod I hope you are ok xxx

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 15:12

Anyone else finding their feet and fingers are swelling up in the heat? Mine did last night, were back to normal this morning, but back to swollen again now....Sad

enormouse · 07/07/2013 15:20

The absolute cunty cunt of a twat. I pointed out to him that we had a arrangement where if I had to pull out of a lesson due to sickness/appointments/whatever he would be understanding sickness and that I'm annoyed he hasn't honoured this. I got back "if there's an issue here, maybe you should get an instructor who isn't as busy as me. In fact I think it would be best if you found a new instructor". I'm seething with rage, sultanajo I'm completely up for forming that lynch mob!

Glad you had a great time at the pool though, sounds lovely. What film are you off to see?

nature babys day out is on tv. That always cheers me up.

Thanks book. I'm spotting a little to, almost identical to the way you describe. I can offer handholding. Can you book an appointment for another scan? I'm going to get one on Wednesday.

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 15:37

Omfg enormouse! You are better off without the total prick! There are some real arses out there! Mine thought he was really cool and down with the kids! Grin

In theory we are off to see The Interns, with Vince Vaughn and whatshisface. Am in the mood to have a good laugh as am dreading this week at work....

Sorry u r still spotting enormouse but great u have a scan on Wednesday!

enormouse · 07/07/2013 16:17

Already looking for a new instructor. I'm just pissed off with having to find someone new as I did like this guy before he turned out to be an utter arse. It's annoying to start the whole process again. I had no idea he was just obsessed with money. As my mum used to say - whatever happened to customer care?

MrsVDB · 07/07/2013 16:50

Scan was amazing! Could see everything! Was doing a headstand so I had to bump my bum on the bed a couple of times and it rolled over and was doing little scissor kicks! So cute! The lady tried 4d as well but couldn't really see much due to position. Bought a DVD of the whole thing, amazing :)

Sultanajo · 07/07/2013 17:13

enormouse absolutely agree! Complete pain in the ass and customer care seems to be such a rarity these days... In my day....Wink

Yeay mrsV thats awesome! So pleased for you! Headstand is impressive!!! A little gymnast maybe? Grin

So not going to the pics. Was about to book when the headache started, followed by (TMI) a couple of trips to the bathroom, so thats that! Ah well at least we made it swimming....

Bluecarrot · 07/07/2013 17:30

Hi everyone - back from my wee holiday :) whole week to catch up on!

While away, I shopped the maternity section sale in new look for some trousers and a few tops. I already look pretty pregnant :( Im only 14 weeks tomorrow. It feels like once I told everyone the bump just appeared! Wasnt expecting to be this big for another month or two! Also I absentmindedly rub my tummy a lot, which prob doesnt help conceal the bump much.

However, nausea has gone, most of fatigue is gone and libido is prob higher than its ever been. Spotting has finally come to a halt thank fully, but just taking it easy.

DPs parents were um...shocked and not really seeming v thrilled, same with two of his sisters and brother. The other sister (who we told the following day) shrieked, hugged and kissed us and did a happy dance. :) Glad at least one of them is happy. They arent a v touchy feely family in general though...

MrsVDB Id love a 3d scan and still trying to decide what to do!

Enormouse Id highly recommend my instructor but he comes from Glengormley so Im not sure if he covers your area. I did do my lessons (and test) in Larne. I can PM you his number - its worth a try! He was very good at calming me when I was incredibly nervous.

Frog I cant have a home birth as I had an emergency c section last time (even though it was 11 years ago!) though Id love one. I am doing natal hypnotherapy though - I looked at the course but decided to try the cd set first - got the 4 cd set plus the effective birth prep book for £25 delivered, second hand.

enormouse · 07/07/2013 17:41

That'd be great blue. Hope it's not the guy I'm with atm. Does agsom ring any bells?

where did you go on your hols?

enormouse · 07/07/2013 17:42

Your scan sounds absolutely amazing MrsVDB did you go private for it?

TarkaTheOtter · 07/07/2013 18:41

booktart at nearly 14 weeks your midwife should be able to find heartbeat on her Doppler so you could make an appt for reassurance.

MrsVDB · 07/07/2013 19:06

mouse yep private. New clinic and we were there first clients so was really nice. Definitely worth it. Just off regent street so handy too :)

extracrunchy · 07/07/2013 20:15

Ecc omg H&M non maternity saved the day! Loads of nice comfy stuff that will also be useful afterwards. Thank you Smile

Sultana yep I'm already getting hippo feet...

MrsV scan sounds fab!!

sarahleanne · 07/07/2013 20:51

Bought some maternity jeans from new look , supersoft jeans they're called and they are sooo comfy. Only thing is they didn't have a 30 inch leg so had to get a 32 and roll them up. Bought them in a size 12 so a size bigger than normal and hope they still get past my thighs throughout the pregnancy , wishful thinking. Also got a maternity top, right one , white and blue stripes. I'm really getting a bump now , can't believe I'm showing already.
I'm 13 weeks tomorrow.

Toothfairy78 · 07/07/2013 22:09

Urgh, really struggling with the heat today!

Cannot get my rings off as fingers are swollen. Even my comfy old lady sandals feel a but tight. :(

Luckily my trip to Reading yesterday yielded one of those Belvia bra thingies which I'm wearing today. Very comfy! Smile

Nice to hear you had a good scan MrsV.

farmer I'm in Langley out by Slough. I think percy n pidgy are roughly in the region too being not far from Egham. And somebody on a previous thread is out by Newbury, or was that you?

enormouse is there a requirement for the hormonal flash mob of death? We could gather round trapping him in the car raging, crying, complaining about puffy feet, sore boobs, needing a wee...

SarahJayne321 · 07/07/2013 22:23

enormouse your driving instructor sounds like a prize twat!! I'm all for the lynch mob, pass me my torch and away we go!

nature really feel for you with your sickness, hope it's a one off and you feel better soon.

book hope your spotting is still settled, I'd call midwife for reassurance

mrsv how fab you had a little wriggler, mine was face down but rolled over after a run down the stairs and gave us some stretches.

Had a busy day today, went down to the beach at lytham, but nearly stood on a jellyfish barefoot so decided to head to Blackpool instead, had a wander round madam tusauds, and down the pier etc. just got back in and exhausted, aching everywhere!

Bluecarrot · 08/07/2013 00:56

Enormouse Thought I could only pm from laptop, but just figured out how to do it on mobile site and sent you his number. The word you said doesn't ring a bell at all.

This guy had me so confident I drove a 200 mile round trip within a few days of passing the test :) Hope he can help you out or recommend someone closer who can!

I was in Buncrana in Donegal :) 3rd year in a row - great beaches and walks.

sarahleanne · 08/07/2013 01:57

2am and I am up puking my guts up (tmi-sorry) .
Caught a bloody bug off my dh, who caught it off our daughter, bloody great. Have to call in sick today.
I've got the worst heartburn now so I'm sat up on the sofa.

Sorry for the mememe post. I'm feeling very sorry for myself.

curlywurlyllass · 08/07/2013 06:58

Congrats mrsV on your scan :)

Good luck to everyone having a scan today, think there are lots of us

Sarahl hope u feel better soon
