New thread as we appear to be talking a fair bit!

Lets hope we've all given birth by the end of this one :-)

I'm impressed, Sunny. In contrast it's almost half 12 and I'm still in my nightwear having just completed a 2 hour feed!

At least my nipples remain intact this time as they're been munched on far too much! :-/

AmI, I hope everything gets sorted for you. Strange how they won't scan. And I hope your BP is fine today too.

I'm still feeling battered from my c section. Think they had a good old rummage in my innards!

Hope everyone is ok...bit manic here to keep up with everything :-/ Sorry if I've missed anything important.

you're far too organised sunny, I seem to be constantly attached to a baby or breastpump today, on some feeds he's not even going 2 hours before start to start and less than 1 hour between finishing and starting again im knackered, dont think my blobs can keep up!

MrsBri · 28/06/2013 13:43

I've just had an hour's break Steff. Amy is back on it now. Didn't want to get dressed anyway!

Feeling your pain Hawkmoth! Paracetamol and ibuprofen COMBO - over the counter bliss... (Or get them to write you a cocodamol prescription!)

forgetmenots · 28/06/2013 13:53

Is Amy still an acrobat MrsBri? :)

MrsBri · 28/06/2013 14:19

Paracetamol and ibuprofen is great. They're getting me through the section pain. Shame they don't work on munched nipple ouchiness!

Forget, Amy is still very wriggly. No head stands yet though. She's been able to hold her head up since birth though, so the in utero exercise worked!

Well done sunny! And I hope that everything went well with Lily meeting her great grandfather?

The afterpains sound delightful!

The feeding sounds like its going well but sounds exhausting! Well done all of you!

Mw came this afternoon. One I haven't seen before. Bp is still up so I have another check at home on Sunday. She had a feel and said oo yes breech. She also found the heartbeat in position which is consistent with breech. So now I need you all to change your wishes for something to happen here, to wishes for absolutely nothing to happen before weds!

Everyone else still waiting, I hope the sweeps have led to some progress for you?

pinkbear82 · 28/06/2013 15:17

ah mrsbri Violet is the same with her head! also likes to 'stand' lots, sometimes that's the only thing that settles her!!

Violet's been a star today and had lots of time with daddy and went on the school run this morning to meet some of her sister's friends... her little bigger sister kept hinting Friday's are show and tell day's!!

hope everyone's had a good day - ami did everything go ok with the mw?

pinkbear82 · 28/06/2013 15:19

ah ha x post!

right baby ami - pls stay put and listen to ur mummy!
I would imagine bp likely to still be up as you are still getting used to the sudden news and changes it brings.

AmIGoingMad · 28/06/2013 15:20

We had a x post pinkbear! Thanks for asking!Smile

learnermummy · 28/06/2013 17:13

Blimey how stressful AmI, here's hoping for a very quiet weekend for you.

All good here, Anna feeding well and we even managed school run this afternoon so had lots of mummies cooing over her Smile. Tired now though! It's our 10th wedding anniversary today but don't think there'll be too much celebrations going on, except maybe a small glass of bubbly Grin.

pinkapples · 28/06/2013 17:28

Glad everyone's having a good day and here's some stay put vibes aml Grin

We've had a good day to just eating and sleeping for baby and I managed to prepare breakfast and lunch and will start dinner after this feed so the days are getting quicker between that and expressing every 4 hrsGrin

cupcake78 · 28/06/2013 19:10

aml, hope baby starts as it means to go on and does as its told.

Updated my birth plan to include induction preferences as it looks like thats the plan for tomorrow. Baby cupcake keeps thinking about making an appearance but then changes its mind so induction it is :(

Dh, ds and I are enjoying our last night of being 3 before dc2 arrives and takes over ;) Its very weird knowing tonight is probably my last night of sleep for months!

Babybeann · 28/06/2013 19:21

Cupcake- im having an iduction tomorrow too. Getting pretty nervous now. Was induced with ds and was awful but hears lots of positive induction stories so hoping everything goes to plan this time. Good luck to you.

Iam- im sending stay put vibes for you. Have a easy weekend if possible. No house work and lots of online shopping :)

cupcake78 · 28/06/2013 20:32

Babybean I'm sure we'll be fine ;) Its a very weird feeling knowing that tomorrow is it if not before. Trying to stay calm, consultant thinks my odds are good, but yes I'm getting a bit scared now. Ds was also a tricky customer but we managed so its time for some positive thinking and focus on getting to the end.

I'm seriously hoping its a simple matter of breaking waters and off I go but I'm under no illusion as to what can occur. If drip is needed it will be an epidural. I'm not going to be brave.

Fingers crossed you have a better experience than last time and I look forward to hearing about your new delivery.

Really really really good luck for tomorrow cupcake and babybeann!

And withalittlesparkle - nope, I'm still bloody pregnant too :( sweep didn't work. Am also the only pregnant person left in RL too - got FOUR friends texting me today with news of their arrivals. FOUR!!!

AmIGoingMad · 28/06/2013 21:55

Good luck with your inductions tomrw cupcake and babybeann! I hope you both have more positive experiences than you had last time. They do say your body knows what to do more the second time so I'm sure that you will! Looking forward to lovely baby news and stories!Smile

Sparkle yes- I think it's just the two of us? Zed possibly but haven't heard anything since yesterday's mw appt there. And what about gina? My brain's all confused at the moment so I might have missed an announcement!

Thanks for the stay put vibes ladies! I'm really hoping she listens to us!Smile

AmIGoingMad · 28/06/2013 21:57

Sorry pepp- I'm useless! How could I forget?! 4 new arrival announcements?! On the positive side though, at least when baby pepp arrives, you'll have lots of company for walks and lunches!Smile

peppinagiro · 28/06/2013 22:06

That's true! I am really pleased for them all, but did feel a bit of a meanie earlier on when text no 3 arrived and I cried for an hour because I was just so jealous and fed up. Not least because that particular lady had the easiest pregnancy ever, and had her baby 2 weeks early! How is that fair?!

Anyway, really hope that your little one stays put til wednesday. What a little mischief maker to be turning round like that! I hope you're having stern words.

I WENT OUT!! Without the baby for 4 hours! Was nice to go out but I very nearly didn't go. Got all emotional when I was meant to be leaving so DH was very firm with me and sent me out. Least we know we can both cope if I go out and leave them. Apparently she was a piglet and had 2 bottles and passed out in between. Good thing because DH goes back to work tomorrow so is sleeping in the spare room tonight so got to do it all myself tonight. Eek!

Good luck ladies with inductions tomorrow and sending positive labour vibes to those that are waiting to go into labour (but not AmI!).

AlohaMama · 28/06/2013 23:25

Successfully achieved visit to playground and to do food shopping with toddler and baby. BF under the slide, and it all went ok. Man it's hard work though. Feel great sense of achievement for having managed 2 1/2 hours out of the house with no major meltdowns. Sadly since dd was born dh has been working all hours, so no time to spend with us. Still at least he works at home so can hold the baby for 5 minutes or help change ds nappy if I'm feeding. But looking forward to him having less work in a few weeks so we can enjoy our last few weeks on the island.

Really only 3 left? I thought there were some more due at the end of the month but maybe they've disappeared. Good luck to you all and hope things start moving soon...apart from AmI of course.

cupcake78 · 29/06/2013 01:46

Just incase anyone is wondering. It is impossible to sleep the night before your induced. This is jinxed by everyone's voice going round my head saying stuff like.

Make sure you get some rest.
At least you can feel refreshed before the fun begins.
Ooooow last night of sleep for a while, make the most of it.
Big day tomorrow.
Bet you can't wait to finally meet you baby!

No pressure there then WinkGrinConfused

It's like the days before your married, move out of home, get your exam results, sit your driving test etc.

Steffanoid · 29/06/2013 03:00

cupcake, even just lying there will help, but seriously what do all of the helpful people think? that this one magic night will make all tge difference?
I think I'd use it to try and poop, sorry if it's gross but for the nearly 5 days we were at hospital I didn't go cause there were people around and im a very nervous pooer

good luck with impending inductions ladies! very exciting
