New thread as we appear to be talking a fair bit!

Lets hope we've all given birth by the end of this one :-)

And me :( :( :(

Actually spent most of the afternoon sobbing in despair about still being stuck in this miserable, painful, rotten state.

Steffanoid · 23/06/2013 16:52

dont worry guys you'll get there! by tge time I went into labour I was 40+5 and Ethan arrived at 41 weeks I can't believe my waters went a week tomorrow!

Hawkmoth · 23/06/2013 16:53

I've not even bothered getting dressed today. Pfft to being a whale. Have pulled a muscle sneezing with a BH in place. I'm going to have to go to GP tomorrow as my chest is really bad. I can't wait to have Sudafed and proper drugs again.

MrsBri · 23/06/2013 17:00

Quick update.

Waters went at 6.20 this morning but had poo in. Straight to hospital where labour started very quickly. Went from 2-10cm in about 3.5 hours!

Ended up with c section as baby not happy. Amy Alicd born at 13.11 weighing 9lb 7oz :-)

She's been in special care as she swallowed some poo, but has just been given the all clear and is on the way up to me now.

:-)

Very happy and tired. Will catch up later on. Xx

Congratulations mrsbri! Lovely name hope your having lush newborn cuddles glad Amy's ok now Thanks

Theiah's had the attack of the sticky eye that's started today and the scaly skin oh no!

cupcake78 · 23/06/2013 18:38

Mrs Bri congrats! A little girl, how lovely. Hoping you have a speedy recovery!

I'm still extremely pregnant as well and going mental with it. I understand ladies, the days are getting longer.

Tears twice today once as I really missed my GrannieBlush she's been dead 10 years ffs! Then because i missed everyone else I've ever known who's died, as you doBlush its hormonal madness! Then again because I saw my mum for the last time before baby will come and got very very scared, this I understand.

I've now got sore back ache from bottom up to my shoulders! Paracetamol hasn't taken it away. Hot water bottle eases it, bath has helped but it keeps pulsating and now I'm too hot. No contractionsHmm. Have had weird sharp pains in the left of my bump and left of my back and have period pains all day. Hope to goodness its not baby still growning (already measuring 45 weeksConfused). Have i said I've had no contractionsHmm. Stabbing pains in my cervix again.

Getting loads of hot flushes. Looks like I'm in for another labour of drawn out days of niggly off and on'sSad.

Wednesday (due date) cant come soon enough. Consultant going to assess me for induction due to baby size and spd. This is probably (hopefully) the last Sunday night I will ever be pregnant! SmileSmileSmileSmile

AmIGoingMad · 23/06/2013 18:39

Congratulations mrsbri! Lovely name and I'm glad that your DD is all fine now! Also goes to show your dates were more accurate than theirs hey?! Smile

With the scaly dry skin- massage olive oil in like you do with moisturiser for yourself- sorts it in no time at all- or at least it did with DS!

Still pregnant here. No signs at all of impending labour. Although mrsbri has made me think it'll be more like next sun ( my dates) than this tues ( scan dates) . Fingers crossed mrsbri and Madame have started a new wave of arrivals!Smile

ginauk84 · 23/06/2013 18:40

Congrats MrsBri!

All these tales of scaly babies am beginning to think these newborn photo shoots are all photoshopped then! Their skin looks so smooth and perfect. Am intending to do my own shoot so will have to perfect my photoshop skills!

AmIGoingMad · 23/06/2013 18:40

Sounds promising cupcake!Smile

BumbleBee2011 · 23/06/2013 18:46

Congrats MrsBri, glad your lovely DD is doing well Smile

Just had the most tiring day - DD had a great birthday party, it was so lovely to see her so so happy. Now it's bedtime and she's still very excited while DH and I are shattered - so Sod's law says tonight will be the night, when I actually could do with a decent sleep! Off to crash now on the nearest item of furniture...

pinkapples · 23/06/2013 18:52

Hehe gina Grin only just noticed the scaly skin today so luckily our photoshoot was alright no scales hehe (Theiah was 4 days old)

ella0 · 23/06/2013 18:58
