New thread as we appear to be talking a fair bit!

Lets hope we've all given birth by the end of this one :-)

I wonder if we have two new arrivals yet.

Growth scan showed everything fine she was a bit arsey to start with saying stuff like am not going to be able to scan at this late stage, we won't get any measurements etc. we thort oh joy but as it happens she did manage to get every measurement and everything is fine, measuring 7lb8oz plus or minus 20%. So we've been put back under the care of MLU - phew.

Also said prelabour contractions hopefully have been thinning membrane so will be helping things a long but don't always mean I won't need induction - hopefully we carry on though and can make her move naturally!

Mrsbri- I too cannot close my legs when sitting down- so ladylike! And sitting in the loo is also very uncomfortable (sorry tmi!)

MrsBri · 22/06/2013 14:28

Poor DS rrreow :-( I hope he settles soon for you. It really must be difficult to get their heads round when they're that young.

AmI, that is funny of your DS. Not at the time though, I imagine?!

And yes to being uncomfy on the loo too! Everything's a mission now. I'm not even sure I can face another bath due to the utter mission it has become to get in and out. :-/

X posted gina- great news on the scan!Smile

Yes it was hysterical after the initial shouts of 'code brown' were dealt with!Grin

ginauk84 · 22/06/2013 14:36

Lol yes the loo thing isn't easy lol!

Sarah2506 · 22/06/2013 17:04

On the not shutting legs thing I still sit with my legs wide open two weeks after the event. It's not attractive. It's like my body forgot how to be ladylike...

cupcake78 · 22/06/2013 19:18

Well today I've had lots of bh. A bit of period pain. Hot flushes and I've just had to do the ironing and mop two floors!

I've been very restless and still feel like I can't sit still. I'm not sure if this is all because of cabin fever, frustration or if its hormonally influenced. I'm in a horrible mood. Poor dh has been nagged at so much he's done very well not to snap at me.

I really want this to be over now Hmm. I'm so extremely ready for my baby!

AmIGoingMad · 22/06/2013 19:33

Aw cupcake not long now! It's such a frustrating emotional roller coaster of a time isn't it?! I'm the same and randomly bursting into tears. Although only a couple of mild period cramps so have a feeling I'll be playing the waiting game for a while yet. I hope that this is it for you!

Sarah ha! It's going to be interesting trying to get out bodies back to at least behaving as they did before, let alone looking as they did!

I'm still having the whole swinging back and forth thing. One minute I'm all ' come on! Lets get this going now!' And the next needing to deep breathe to calm myself down about what I've got to do soon! My poor body can't win!

Babybeann · 22/06/2013 19:44

snap on the sitting like a man front dp thinks its very funny.

had a good walk round mother care and kiddicare today got awful back ache now but no dout its nothing. got up at 4 last night for some water felt like id not drank in weeks extream thirst not happensd before.

cant wait to hear more baby news!!!
good luck everyone

curiousgeorgie · 22/06/2013 20:01

I'm such a mess today... Realising that one way or another (either labour before or a c section Tuesday) its my last weekend with DD as my only child I just kept crying this morning! Blush DH found it hilarious.. (Very sympathetic!!) suddenly I feel really unprepared to have another baby and can't imagine I can love her like I love my DD... I know it's probably just hormones but they've hit me hard today.

I've got period pain and backache too... Also feel hideously nauseous... Is that anything?

MrsBri · 22/06/2013 20:27

Georgie, my DH was contemplating whether this will be our last Saturday as a twosome earlier. It's quite a weird feeling.

And crying at the drop of a hat is very normal right now, it seems.

I've had really bad nausea for a week or so, as well as the extreme night thirst for a bit longer.

I've also had period pain cramps on and off all afternoon. Don't think they'll come to anything though.

Hope they do though as it's my real due date tomorrow!

I had a gorgeous little girl at 6am weighing 8lb 3oz, very quick straightforward water birth. Home now enjoying lots of snuggles. Thanks for all your good luck messages x

Well this is a shock, nearly 24 hours with no sleep as DD2 has being feeding all evening and shows no sign of stopping but being completlt honest its still better than being pregnant!!
