Don't worry Silver - they won't even notice.

Persuasion · 24/06/2013 18:26

I hope all is ok silver. Definitely don't worry about the 'topiary' they will have see it all before. And all they do all day is look at vaginas, I can't imagine they remember one from the next! Good luck.

SundaySunshine · 24/06/2013 18:46

Hope all is ok Silver. Don't worry about your lady garden, as you say they've seen it all before. I've given up on mine because I can't actually see/reach it any more, so will have to go au natural!

photographerlady · 24/06/2013 19:24

silver hope its all ok

OhGood hope things are going well for you dear, thought of you today placing my tesco shop, wish me luck to no labour in the best 12 hours I have a lot of fruit and veg coming :)

shelley72 · 24/06/2013 19:36

I too am having a lady garden dilemma. Do I wax (ouch) or veet? Should be interesting as I can't really see and thinking I need to go quite low down Shock.
Good luck though silver. Thinking of you too oh good.

dinkystinky · 24/06/2013 19:53

Do NOT wax Shelley - its more pain than its worth at this stage of pregnancy, literally! I'm an advocate of going au natural if possible.

IcingTheCake · 24/06/2013 19:58

shelley please please please do not wax unless you wax regularly up til now, it can tear the skin! Go veet, shave or natural! Smile

VinegarDrinker · 24/06/2013 20:31

I have no intention of waxing, shaving or anything else, don't usually so not going to start now! And I can tell you categorically that MWs and Drs really couldn't care less. Honestly.

No more contractions, am now irritating myself by analysing every tiny twinge.... Kept busy though by cycling 11 miles across London to visit DH's Grandma who is in hospital. Really glad we went, it perked her up no end to see DS who arrived in his full on doctor dressing up outfit!

Looking forward to more news from OhGood... And plenty of vibes for the SCBU crew.

dinkystinky · 24/06/2013 20:35

Blimey Vinegar - not sure I could even get on a bike nowadays let alone cycle me and a child 11 miles! Respect!!

Runswithsquirrels · 24/06/2013 20:45

Oh goodness, I'm going au natural. I'd rather not injure myself or cause weird shapes! I don't care what they think of my untended bits.

Sports Day went well thanks Cheese, although I could have done without the hour and a half inset on it afterwards. Yawn.

Hope everything is okay for Silver and Ohgood.

Runswithsquirrels · 24/06/2013 20:46

*On ict

VinegarDrinker · 24/06/2013 20:51

dinky I can barely walk to the end of the road without needing a per/getting really uncomfortable BHs/feeling like my vagina is being knifed, so my bike is my lifeline atm... Tbf I only towed the trailer home, DH had the pleasure on the outward trip (it was the Whit we were visiting so those who know the area and geography will appreciate that I was impressed enough to get myself up there let alone the trailer!).

38+6 and now more pregnant than I've ever been. Feels odd to be impatient when she isn't even "due" bit it feels overdue for me!

VinegarDrinker · 24/06/2013 20:51

Needing a pee, should say!

dinkystinky · 24/06/2013 20:55

Even more respect Vinegar at getting yourself and bump up those killer hills! I contemplated walking up to Hampstead today (couple of miles walk there and back) but binned the idea due to the hills. Maybe later in the week...

Thinkingof4 · 24/06/2013 21:46

Glad to hear so many of us are opting for au naturel!
I honestly couldn't give a toss about all that and I don't think any midwife would either

silver hope everything is ok with you

bb01 I'm hoping your wee one has arrived safely by now

vinegar I can't believe you are still managing to get ona bike and tow a wee one! Bet you are getting impatient now, I won't feel overdue for another 10 days or so yet!!

dinky hope you are feeling better today and that you have had a quieter day

Still getting lots of horrible cervix jabbing type pains here but nothing else happening. Sitting down becoming an increasing priority as standing for any length of time is gettin quite uncomfy, esp lower back, legs and feet! Need to get on my ball I think

Silver15 · 24/06/2013 21:51

Thanks ladies for your best wishes. It was a false alarm. Cervix is still intact.

I must say I had the most painful internal examination ever. The unit was very busy so the registrar was trying to get thru as many ladies as possible. No time for gentle insertion. I was literary screaming in pain.

Regarding the lady garden, I don't think she even noticed.

Will stay home the next 2 days and go in on thursday to handover. That's if I don't get any more pains or bleed.

dinkystinky · 24/06/2013 21:56

Silver glad all is OK but sorry you had such a painful cervical exam - I know wards are busy places but taking a couple of minutes to do a gentle examination is time well spent. Take it easy at home for the next couple of days x

MrsRoss26 · 24/06/2013 22:21

Sorry to hear about all the cervical pains ladies. silver there's no excuse for being rough on you, I hope you feel better quickly.

Waiting on more news from ohgood - and surprised we haven't had any more arrivals, given the rate we're going already!

IcingTheCake · 24/06/2013 22:24

Glad everything is all good silver

Can I just say i think my bump has hiccups for the first time! It's hilarious! Really funny Grin so happy Grin

Runswithsquirrels · 25/06/2013 03:57

Morning. :(

TotallyEggFlipped · 25/06/2013 05:01

Glad to hear everything checked out ok, Silver

I will definitely be leaving the lady garden alone. I'm pretty sure I must've pooped during delivery last time & no-one mentioned a thing, so I'm sure they'll ignore the forest too.

Morning, Runs.

Hope you're doing ok, OhGood

princessllama · 25/06/2013 05:07

Morning runswithsquirrels. How's the insomnia? Obviously not great as you're also on mnet. Handy time to catch up on stuff though, am pumping yet again and responding to emails with one finger!
Humphrey had his 1st weight gain at midnight- cant wait for dh to find out. Best piece of news in ages.
Baby no. 2 i went for a waxing pre birth and regretted it so badly as had terrible reaction to it and was up all night several days in row itching and itching- had visions of going into labour totally sleep deprived and v red looking! Luckily ds1 was v late arriving.
Vinegar i dont know how you do it, i havent been on a bike for quite a while, but i get you re those stabbing pains, i would have ridden a tricycle if it had improved those

Great news about Humphrey, princess.

dinkystinky · 25/06/2013 06:25

Fab news about the weight gain Princess - all that pumping is having the desired effect! Well done!

Runs - sorry you're suffering so from Insomnia. Can you try a meditation download to send you off again?

Lol Totally - am pretty sure midwives and drs have seen it all!
