Cursive - don't worry about the period type cramps. Easier said than done, I know, but they really are totally normal. I had them pretty much constantly for first 10 weeks with DS (now 2!) and currently at about 10 weeks (according to scan where everything looked good) and same again. Try not to stress

Got a surprise BFP yesterday I suppose I can't really call it a surprise since we weren't using contraception. I had my first period last month since having DD, now 20 months, and didn't think it would happen so quickly as she took 2 years to conceive. Getting excited now we're over the shock! EDD is 15th Jan. We're in SW London.

It does explain the tiredness and the rage I haven't had any other symptoms yet. Sorry for all those suffering bad sickness, sounds horrible.

I hope DD gets over the jealous stage by the time baby is here. If I dare to hold anything else (even the cats) she screams 'share' and tries to squeeze in-between.

I have a feeling this one's a boy. No idea why.

Got to get up and take DH to the station. Then later I have to go and see my mum and hope that she doesn't notice my belly. I've dug out last year's biggest, waftiest maxi dress!

Thanks everyone who answered about scans. Hope they are all going well. I did actually mean 'useful' not 'useless'! Will blame iPhone but could be those iq points dropping away.

Actually feeling a bit refreshed this morning as Ds only woke a couple of times and I can just hear him now waking up. Beats his usual 6am wake up call!!

Am so jealous of everyone's scans.
MrsGR we were given a gorgeous me to you snowsuit/pramsuit when DS was born. It made him look like a me to you bear and had the little bears face on the hood and me to you on the foot. I don't know where it's from but if you Google/eBay me to you snowsuit I'm sure you'll find it. Fully intend to use it again for DC2 as its so damn cute.
sultanajo glad to help . I use DS as an excuse to buy all the books and things I loved as a kid even though DP thinks beatrix potter is girly.

farmersdaughter I'm quite worried I'll go overdue again cos it was so uncomfortable and that I'll need the dreaded episiotomy again. my first birth was quite good (fairly quick, just gas and air) so I'm worried the second will be the complete opposite. But my gp says it's way too early too worry so I'm going to push it to the back of my mind.

enromouse DD was 9lb 13oz quite worried that this baby will be bigger. I can tell you, I am not doing that again. Legs crossed the whole way

We have had a major hissy fit this morning from DD, naughty step has been out on force over the last 2 days or so. It's like a switch has been flicked this week...boom she can now speak properly in sentences and throw diva tantrums. How long with this last? I'm thinking till she's at least 17?!!

Hello, have been lurking for a while...think I posted on thread 2.

I'm 6 weeks 3 days and have been madly crying this week...so the thread title is so me....It's very disconcerting, i feel totally mad. If DH and I disagree it seems to result in tears. Am hoping not just me and that at least some of you argue sometimes with your partners and you aren't all of the perfect relationship type!?

Well my morning has royally sucked! Stupid crappy spotting is back. Have got a scan next Wednesday, but I am really upset because this was the exact time it all went wrong last time and I cant help but panic. FFS this sucks! Am praying its all going to be fine as it was at 8 weeks after a whole week of spotting, but its just the timing now thats making me go arghhhh! Its hard enough staying positive without the spotting. Apologies for the pity party, just needed to vent my worries somewhere and dont want to worry DH as he is working away.....

Lots of love sultana. Can you try and get an earlier scan appointment so you're not worrying about it all weekend? X

Well its tempting mrsavb. I may move it forward to monday if it continues, but I really wanted to wait until the 10 week mark if I could. I really want one now and another next wednesday. In fact, I want one every day!!! Will see how things progress.....

Well my Tudors box set has arrived. Toddlermouse is having an early nap as he was up ridiculously early. So I'm going to enjoy the historical inaccuracy and bodice ripping sex whilst eating a pot noodle.

And wow farmers at 9lb 13! One of the kids i used to look after went from being a little angel to a terrible two (although he was 3 at the time!) like the flick of the switch!

I had a really weird dream last night that dh freaked out and wouldn't take me to the scan so his friend drove me and went to the wrong hospital and thought it was really funny. Very strange as neither of us would let any of his friends drive our car!
