Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/07/2013 12:36

Good luck Sweetie' hope they fix you up.

Trix don't even talk to me about boobs. Mine were huge already, but I'm already spilling out of my bras Sad

Where are you lovely Keep?

Can I have a bit of a mental? Inot sure if any of you were on Crinone gel for progesterone, but you have to clear out the old gunk every few days and last night it was a bit pink and a bit brown. There is no actual blood anywhere now I have cleared everything out. I just had a freak out!

I'm off to the clinic to get more supplies today so thought I'd see if I could speak to a nurse. Sorry for the me me me, it's just the 13th August (scan date) seems so long away!

Solars · 23/07/2013 12:49

Hi just a quick one from me as I'm catching up on yesterdays work but didn't want to read and run on seeing Maybe's post, could it be the gel just irritating the cervix? But it would be a good idea to talk to a nurse. Seeing pinky, reddy, browny stuff can always be worrying but sometimes nothing to it and remember I was spotting bright red but it was just the cervix reacting to a rough dildocamming.

Re boobs, yes mine are bigger, spilling out but haven't actually got them measured yet....

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/07/2013 12:53

Thanks Solars. I was toldthatmy cervix could bleed for up to 6 weeks following transfer due to trauma. I know the Crinone can irritate it too, and it's only in the gel that I'm seeing it, it's never there when I wipe. Will definitely talk to the nurse though x

cartoontrickster · 23/07/2013 15:21

I'm sure in pregnancy your cervix Is more sensitive too. but mention it to put your mind at rest.
I measured myself as per the munsnet guide(have been for a while) and now measure an f cup my e cups aren't tooo bad at the moment I will put up with them a bit longer. otherwise at this rate ill be buying nee bras every couple of weeks! I started a d sometimes dd!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/07/2013 15:25

Thanks Trix. Nurse told me it was completely normal!

I'm an F to begin with reckon I could do with a FF already Blush

cartoontrickster · 23/07/2013 15:32

wow maybe I think you'll over take me in the boob growth department.
I have always wanted bigger boobs should be careful what I wish for!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/07/2013 16:10

You can have mine if you like Trix?!

RubberBullets · 23/07/2013 16:50

I was wearing badly fitting bras before so no idea how much they grew but I'm a 36K now :o

cartoontrickster · 23/07/2013 18:14

rubber thems some impressive knockers u got there Grin .
I'm only a 30 back so even my f cup isn't massive. I'm just surprised how quickly they seem to be growing.

keepitgoing · 24/07/2013 08:43

Hi all, I'm home! And so knackered...

My bobs went 30d to 32dd vv fast. Now 32e too small and am going to get measured, but I think growth slows down after first tri till the end.

maybe :) hope the nurse was reassuring. I had a different pessary, aren't they foul...

Am off to see my new niece today :)

Sorry for shirt post. Am seriously tired, though we did get the bulkhead seats due to a friendly check in lady, and me rubbing my tummy...

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/07/2013 09:01

Yay keep! So lovely to have you back!!! Enjoy your newborn cuddles!

How is everyone else today?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/07/2013 15:54

Gone day all you lovely bumpy norktastic ladies :)

Keep pleased to see you back in old blighty, have loads of duo with your new born snuggles :):)

Maybe so pleased your nurse was able to reassure you, I'm certain that you will feel more confidant in your pregnancy as it progresses.

Trix how are you doing? What's next for you?

Solars when do you have the Harmony test done? That does it look for, how do they test? Have you got another scan coming up? Gosh that is a lot of questions Grin

Sweetie when is your 20 week scan booked for? How are you doing?

Sparks come out of that baby bubble and tell us all about R and how lovely he is :)

All good over at Chez boo, K just had her 12 week jabs is ok so far, toddly had a play date with his best little friend while me and his mum planned their birthday party, we're having them a joint one could result in a thread if it all goes wrong Grin

Glad you got back safely Keep. Make sure you get measured somewhere proper not M&S, you need decent support for those preggo boobs.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/07/2013 16:13

Rubber and all others, did any of you switch to non-underwired bras at any point?

Boo sounds like you've had a productive day! Is there a theme to the party?!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 24/07/2013 16:21

Yes, I did quite early, my boobs tend to get quite really excruciating sore and the wires started digging in, it was bliss!!

The boys are having a racing car theme :) friends mummy makes beautiful cakes so she is doing on number 4 like a race track and one as a big race car, or possibly race cars in different colours. And we're having checkered flag table cloths and paper plates :) it's going to be super cool! We've booked a bouncy castle and little race cars too Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/07/2013 16:26

That sounds amazing!! They're going love it!!

I am uncomfortable already. I'm ok if I standing up, but if I sit for a long time, they hurt!

RubberBullets · 24/07/2013 17:03

I didn't wear underwired bras before so no change for me but I am going to move onto them when I stop bf. I then plan to stick with them and have underwired nursing bras when the time comes again. Wires are perfectly fine as long as the bra fits properly. A proper fitting wired bra should be more comfortable than a non wired as it will be supportive.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/07/2013 17:09

Brilliant, thanks Rubber. Think I'm just going to have to get re measured again.

RubberBullets · 24/07/2013 17:15

I'm envious that you have somewhere you can get measured. There is nowhere near here :(

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/07/2013 17:18

I am lucky in that I can pop too Rigby and Peller Smile

SweetieTime · 24/07/2013 18:09

I need to get myself measured too. I am still in my pre-BFP bras, although there are only a couple that are still a comfy fit. I think there is a Bravisimo near me so will pop in there. I have worn underwire bras for as long as I can remember so not looking forward to embracing non-wired variety.

Boo hope you have a lovely racing car themed party. I have been pinning some kids stuff these days to give me ideas for the future. I can not believe K is already 12 weeks, where does the time go?

My 20 week scan is 12th Aug so less than 3 long weeks to wait. I have a feeling I will spend my whole pregnancy wishing time away. I just want everything to be ok, I am still nervous that there will be something wrong. I have awful episodes of fear usually about 4am when I can not sleep that there will only be one twin left.

Keep how are you finding adjusting to life back in Blighty? Have you been to view any places to live yet? What was the first thing you did or ate when you got home? Have your family been admiring of your bump?

My hospital appointment yesterday confirmed I do have a blood issue, and so does my Mum so it is hereditary. It sounds like there is very little they can do other than treat the outcome. I have to be monitored closely, I think if I wasn't on for 4 weekly twins scans they would have me in every 4 weeks for this. The condition can lead to excessive bleeding or excessive clotting at birth and in the weeks following the birth. So it is a bit of a waiting game for now, but at least we know this early on so are aware and can make sure I am treated if needed.

keepitgoing · 25/07/2013 06:30

Hey all
We've been getting spoiled, with fresh bread and good cheeses, roast beef, and gorgeous snuggles. Dh has been taught to change a nappy. I cannot believe something that size can fit in me... She fell asleep on my belly, and kip kicked her. Was so lovely. My sister kind of admired bump, but think she is so used to her giant tummy that she thought it quite small... Mil v excited at first gc, and will be knitting for us! Today we are off to bham, house hunting starts tomorrow...

sweetie sorry to hear about your blood condition, what's it called? At least they know, I wonder if they'd have found out if it weren't for ttc issues. Do they say it contributed to the problem? Did your mum have issues? Sorry you're not more relaxed. I actually am now, feeling the kicks is so reassuring, how is your movement going? Will it be hard to tell one twin movement from the other?

I'm not sure if there's a rigby and p in bham, else will do bravissimo. I think I'll stick with underwired for now, though some soft support ones for evening would be nice.

maybe what symptoms? I had hideous bloating and farting at that stage.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/07/2013 06:46

Sounds like you're having an amazing time Keep! Have you gt some place to view?

That's good they have found the problem Sweetie. It's always reassuring to now you'll be watched closely.

Keep very bloated, especially of an evening! Full of wind too. My boobs have got really full and I feel a bit sick if I don't eat regularly. Wishing time away till the 13th!

Solars · 25/07/2013 07:39

Morning ladies!

Lovely to have you back in Blighty Keep happy house hunting. I've always had a soft spot for b'ham as i studied there and there's some lovely areas too so I'm sure you'll find something soon enough.

Sweetie sorry about the blood issues but thankfully they know about it so they'll be prepared. Was this one of the things you insisted they check for when you were ttc?

Boo lovely, the Harmony test is a blood test they draw from me and they can get samples of the babies DNA. It checks for the most common chromosome abnormalities such as Down Syndrome, Edwards syndrome and Patau syndrome. Because it's a blood test it's non invasive compared to amino or cvs. We just thought me being older we'd go for it. I'm having the blood test today and also a scan. We get the results back in 2 weeks time when they do the 12 week nuchal scan. By the that party sounds fun

SweetieTime · 25/07/2013 08:24

Solars hope all goes well with the blood test today and London isnt too stifling

keep so lovely those newborn snuggles, won't be long until you have those of your own. Good luck with the house hunting

Maybe my early symptoms were very sore boobs and cramps near my hip bones. I honestly thought af was on the way for ages. my wind seems worse now than the early days

Not much else to report on the movement front. I think I will be reassured when I can feel a bit more
