boo sorry if I came across badly not thanking you for the sleeping bags. Thank you, I really am so grateful as we have so much to get. We get the keys to our new house on Friday so am just adding up all the things we need for that. My head is a foggy mess at the moment.

Solars · 26/06/2013 13:48

Hi sorry not to name check but I thought I'd let you know we had our scan today at 6+1 and saw a little blob measuring in at 3.6mm with a little heartbeat thumping away. I still cant believe it but it was a bit more believable seeing the image today.

RubberBullets · 26/06/2013 14:12

That's fab news Solars :o

SweetieTime · 26/06/2013 14:55

Great news Solars was there just one in there then? Did you have a little tear? I am so pleased for you both

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 26/06/2013 15:01

Solars that's brilliant, congratulations :)

Sweetie I didn't think anything of the sort. Just pleased to know they're going to a good home :)

Solars · 26/06/2013 16:42

Yes just the one Sweetie (phew! although the DH was a little disappointed I think) the dr did have a good hunt around though!! Yes I had a little tear and felt like a bad mum when DH saw the heartbeat before the dr and then when the dr said there's the heartbeat I started panicking saying 'where, where??' because I couldn't see it at first!

Wow you're moving Sweetie hope all goes well.

Any Sparkes news?

Munxx · 26/06/2013 19:19

Did you get a pic solars? My mum and dad rushed round to see my 6 week scan of DD they were more excited than I was!! Congrats again!!!

SweetieTime · 26/06/2013 20:07

Solars I had a secret hope you would be having a few. It is more like a flickering light at that stage, all I could see was it flashing IYSWIM. The pictures don't really show it as good as it is in RL.

Do random weird things always happen when you are preggers? or is it just me?

So I was in ASDA purchasing some of those VPL free shorts that have lace rather than elastic. These are the only knickers I find comfy at the moment, I am not sure if these are the ones Sparks mentioned too. Anyway I was at the till and asked the lady if ASDA still do maternity clothes. To which she said she only had 5 weeks to go herself, I hadn't noticed as she was stood behind the counter. So I was saying I find my knickers the most uncomfortable. She suggested getting some Mothercare maternity support knickers. I was saying I would look at them when I needed to at which she proceeded the show me them ShockShock so she rolled up her top and skirt down to show me more than I really cared to see BlushBlush

So does this sort of thing happen to you guys too?

Munxx · 26/06/2013 20:20

Just to say that mothercare has a 1/2 price mat clothes sale brookers!
Including knickers sweetie Wink

FWIW I lived in very attractive full maternity briefs, attractive huh?! Right over the bump goodness.

But I don't think I'd have shown anyone them!!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 26/06/2013 20:22

Err, no, that's just weird Sweetie. I might check out the M'care sale for any bfing tops.

OP posts:
Munxx · 26/06/2013 20:24

Do Boo it's well worth it, all nursing tops that aren't on sale are included in a buy one get one half price offer.

Baby clothes on sale too. Oh and toys, cars seats and lots of other things!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 26/06/2013 20:32

Ooh that's good, will stock up while they're on offer!

OP posts:
Munxx · 26/06/2013 20:58

Don't forget mamas and papas have a massive sale too!

GreenOlives · 26/06/2013 21:01

Oh sparks, nothing to say 'cept I'm thinking of you x

solars oh I'm just so pleased for you. Were you super nervous? I was the same about the heartbeat, felt like a bad mother... By 7+4 it looked like a baby!!

sweetie am in awe of your organisation whilst growing jumbo twins. You'll have no portions once they're here.

So, exciting times- someone stood up for me on the train today for the first time! I was v pleased and gave him a huge grin! So, to answer your question boo I must now have a visible bump. It's v obvious to us, or if you know me, but suspect not to others so much yet.

I'm desperate to feel movement- 18 weeks tmrw - but know if could be a few weeks as I had an anterior placenta at the 13 week scan.

trix hope you're having good hols.

Can I ask if any brokers old or current know of anyone who did hypnobirthing? Or have done it? Am considering a course in sept.

I was out all day so had my lunchtime nap late today and was exhausted! You working brookers - respect.

GenericDietCola · 27/06/2013 11:31

Sparks, I know its frustrating, but twinks will be here soon. Just rest for now. especially as you must be tired.

TheLittleFriend · 27/06/2013 12:03

Just popping in to wish you luck sparks. We're off to Majorca tomorrow, so I'll be hanging around the free wi-fi areas to check for twinks arrival!
