I leave five weeks today! Am v excited really, boo, though there is a scary amount of things for me to sort both before and after... I can't wait to set up house, settle in, etc. And see friends and family. New niece due mid July as well.

Just thought I would make the place acceptable for all the new arrivals. It is so exciting around here at the moment.

keep what is the first thing you are going to do when you get home? Do you know where you will be living yet?

Time is passing sssssoooooooooo slowly today. It is my own fault as I booked the scan for when DH finishes work as we have our NHS scan next Monday so he didn't want to have to pop out twice. keep this is a private scan so I could have booked it for anytime - lesson learnt!!

Good, now don't do it again young lady. Before work would have been better!!

The first thing I'll do? Visit new niece then go rental househunting... Hmmm. We will be moving to Birmingham, or somewhere nearby, I don't fancy the city and my kitty wouldn't like it either

It's super exciting here@!! Ivf is just amazing. Hope they come over soon, as sparks will be sneezing later today. Hear that twinkle?!?!

I was going to wait until I am about 6 weeks and see something on the scan as it still feels un real but couldn't resist making my way over and checking out the place, it looks lovely ladies!!

I thought the 2ww was nerve racking enough but waiting for the blood tests and scans has brought the nerves onto a completely new level! How have you ladies managed??

Sorry all for keeping you waiting. I have been frantically telling friends and family. I thought I was good at multi tasking but this evening has tested me to the limit.

All was well at the scan. They were both still in there!! They were both measuring a week ahead of my 11+6, I am sure she said one was 13+1 and the other was 12+6. The downs risk came back at 1/17000 so that was such a relief to us both. The twins were wriggling around loads which was really weird to see on the screen but not feel. It is all starting to feel very real now. We have told both our families and close friends so that is it now until 20 week+ scan.

Aah how did they all take it, being told about the pg would be thrilling enough but adding on the twin news must have been amazing for them :):)
