Benenden are the cheapest, too :)

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 11:22

I want boobs! I'm only a 32C & I reckon they have only increased a tiny amount. Pls tell me it happens 5 weeks plus...

LittlePeaPod · 14/05/2013 11:26

Frog I went to bed Saturday night and woke up with ever exanping breasts this Sunday. I am 6+1. You can have mine if you like she says wishing and hoping they don't get any bigger Sad

My boobs haven't grown yet, which is good as they are big enough already!

I've had a sharpish pain just below my belly button, to the left side. It's not very painful, kind of feels like a freeze burn when you touch ice. Don't know what to do :/

TobyLerone · 14/05/2013 11:27

I've got a lot of bra-overspill (and underspill Blush ). Plenty to spare, Frog :o

Frizz1986 · 14/05/2013 11:29

I have no boobs either, only a 32B ish lol! I am only just over 5 weeks (i think) so hoping they grow soon as have no change so far just sore nipples if i squish them.
pea I am near Preston which is about 1hr north of Manchester towards blackpool.
Feel very far behind everyone else symptom wise. I want boobs!! Lol

MTBMummy · 14/05/2013 11:40

Wails I want big boobs! I went from a 32C with DD to 36F when breast feeding, and then shrunk to a lowly 34B - I want big boobs back - stamps feet!

cosmickitten · 14/05/2013 11:49

Hey BookTart sounds like we are a similar position re BFP just before fertility treatment. Very exciting and scary isn't. I grew up just outside Maidstone, I'm feeling quite wistful for my home tuff.

We've not live in the area long so I might pick your brains re kiddie stuff in around here MrsAVB

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 12:01

Cosmic we'll have to share tips as I've only lived here for about 18m. All my friends with children live in London so I'm going to be wishing I lived closer to them now especially as most of DP's friends have older children. I'm sure they will all be offering helpful tips once they find out though! Even though he has a son he doesn't seem to remember much from first time round - was busy telling me how I could relax in spa & sauna at gym & had no idea I wasn't allowed to!

Any hints you may have MrsAVB gratefully received!

LittlePeaPod · 14/05/2013 12:10

I can't believe there are 6 pages of a new thread, I totally missed about half of the last thread, I'm terrible! just saying hi I'll quickly catch up now! xx

TheSlug · 14/05/2013 12:35

LittlePea Yes!! every day, it's terrible!

my boobs are quite big anyway, so not really hoping for any major growth spurt in that department lol! They are sore all the time, though.

I'm in for a FB group, they can be made secret so that no one knows you've joined it and no one can see your posts.

I feel sooo sick, not actually been sick yet but I feel like it might actually be better if I threw up and got it over with! horrible horrible feeling!

I'm in South Bucks, and am 26 xx

Lol I am posting on my phone and there are random capitals and returns my post looks like an overly long haiku or something!
Sorry

Frizz1986 · 14/05/2013 12:52

Omg. Just had a call from my mil friends daughter who gets married in mid august and wants 160 cupcakes. I make cupcakes as a hobby and for friends and family etc but have never made them proper for a stranger and she might want me to do them for her. Would I be crazy to do it when i could be much more pg by then. (it would also be my first ever proper thing, would have to take a day off work to do it too)

MrsAVB · 14/05/2013 12:54

Hi all!
cosmic and frog, I haven't lived there since I was 18 so things have probably changed a bit and I'm guessing you don't want to know the teenage drinking hotspots. My main tip would be that the Isle of Wight is wonderful for cheapish easy day trips/ holidays and has loads that kids love, but that's maybe a few years down the line.
Told my boss today; didn't really want to but with all the vomming I felt like I had to. She was great and I trust that she won't tell anyone else.
Now DH and i have to work out the logistical nightmare of telling both sets of parents who both live further than a day trip away in opposite directions and who we ideally want to tell in person - after the scan date, but before various family gatherings a week later Hmm

MTBMummy · 14/05/2013 12:59

YY with the falling asleep - and to make it worse I have a 2 hour meeting this afternoon.

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 13:16

Hmmm anyone know whether crayfish are ok to eat? They would have been cooked before going in a sandwich right? Just tried to buy lunch at my local deli place & discovered that most of their vegetarian options are now off-limits. I can't eat brie or goats cheese & am trying to limit my salmon & tuna intake (I do eat fish). I did notice after that the big label on their goats cheese says pasteurised though so that would actually have been ok after all. Went for falafel cous cous salad in the end.

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 13:19

Oh & I just checked NHS website & it says to avoid raw crayfish. Apparently even cooked shellfish can still contain toxins so it may be best to avoid. I can see my diet getting very limited for the next 9 months!

TheSlug · 14/05/2013 13:35

Frog you need to be careful about what sort of goat's cheese though, if it's mould ripened I think we still can't have it, the one that comes in a log with a ring around it. Happy to be proved wrong though as I love the stuff! Am struggling to eat properly as an Veggie and have gone right off eggs! :( x

cosmickitten · 14/05/2013 13:37

Frog lookng forward to finding out about hampshire kiddie spots together. Most of my friends with kids are based in London or Kent. Although to be honest most of my friends seem to live a peterpan like life n London. THey are spending their 30's pretty much in the same way as I spent my 20's. I have a small niggling worry that some of those friends will slip away now I'm pregnant (no common ground).

On the plus side I'm hopeful that I may make some friends through baby classes ect. Have lived here for 31/2 years and meet lots lovely people but made no close friends. Which is my own fault 've spent a lot time and energy keeping friendships in London alive, leaving little time to make new friends.

Starting to feel a need to lay down a few roots locally now.

fryingpantoface · 14/05/2013 13:47

I took another 2 tests, about 20 mins ago, so not even early morning and that eggo is preggo!

:) Honestly, i'm so relieved!

I called the Dr's and was told they only have book on the day appointments, even though all he'll do is write down my details and pass them to the midwives. I've booked in a re-assurance scan for 15 June at 11:30 :-)

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 13:54

Really Slug? Oh bugger - yes it was the log type. Guess I'll still avoid it then. I craved eggs & anything protein right at the very beginning to the extent that even DP's sausages looked good but seemed to have calmed down a bit now.

Cosmic you sound just like me - i spent a lot of time going back to London so have really made very few actual friends here that aren't connected to DP. I'm looking to fwd to making new ones of my own. Luckily most of my friends have babies now so we're actually going to have more in common than we did previously. You'll probably find they catch you up sooner than you think as 5 years ago none of us had kids!

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 14:00

Oh & congrats fryingpan! Is that a private scan?

Oh & Cosmic not sure where you are in Hants but have you thought about scans/hospitals yet? Perhaps we should take the discussion offline to PM though to avoid boring the rest of the thread!

Foodylicious · 14/05/2013 14:01

frog & slug I did a bit of reading on the cheeses - soft cheeses that are made with pasturised milk are still mold ripened so thats the risky bit, apparently they are ok if baked though (i.e bubbly hot) as this will kill the bacteria. Have a read up though, dont just take my word for it!
