Greetings from silly o'clock. I've been up since 3.45! Feel sooo sick. Why did I wish this on myself? Not actually being sick but feel awful. Think if I was sick it mght actually help. Have been too & fro from bathroom trying not to wake dd & dsd. Am now downstairs on sofa watching the voice!!
wardy we r not meant to have pre-packed salad no. Not sure why though but I read it somewhere x

TobyLerone · 14/05/2013 05:55

Morning, choc!

I'm up because I have to take DS to school in a minute. He's off on a trip to France :(
Not feeling too sparkling myself, I must admit.

Good grief, we'd starve if we listened to everything they said not to eat!

HabitualHobbyist · 14/05/2013 06:17

LittlePea and NoMore - another (West) Yorkshire lass here.

BookTart · 14/05/2013 06:35

Morning everyone. I don't understand why I keep waking up at 5am, I thought I was meant to be tired, grr! I think Toby and chocolou might both live quite close to me Hmm I live in Kent too. Must be something in the water!

MTBMummy · 14/05/2013 06:48

Morning all, can't believe we're on another thread already.

I'm in West Berks/ south Oxon boarders.

Was thinking, do we want to set up a Facebook page so we can all share our test pics and scans (when they happen)?

Has anyone else started the really crazy dreams?

DP is being lovely, an has made me cooked lunches everyday because he wants to make sure I'm eating properly and knows I often just scoff down a sandwich at my desk when I get 2 minutes spare :-)

LittlePeaPod · 14/05/2013 07:02

Morning. Hope you are well.

Habbit. Yea that makes five Yorkshire ladies.... We could set up or own NCT at thi rate.. Ha ha

Mummy. Ohh your DP is lovely... It's amazing how protective they become. Smile. With regards FB I will probably respectfully step back from that one. Dont want anyone to know about pregancy till at least 12 weeks and won't be telling work until I am showing. And we have already decided we won't be putting our scans up etc. up. Sorry to sounds like a party pooper.

Morning!

Welcome More and congrats!

I'm in West London but planning on moving to Hertfordshire this year (closer to DH's work). But I'm originally from NW Kent

Quick question (& potential TMI alert). Had some light brown cm last night and a small amount this morning. Do we think this is ok? I'm sure it was mentioned on the other thread but I'm just looking for reassurance really as that is what I'd normally see immediately before AF. I've poas this morning on an Internet cheapie and the line is definitely darker than the last time I tested. Am I just being a worry wart?

SunnySentiments · 14/05/2013 07:06

Oh and I like the FB idea MTB. I think there's a way to create a private group so no friends see any of your posts in the group. Don't ask me how though, but I have seen it mentioned on other threads Grin

Sultanajo · 14/05/2013 07:12

Thanks Altered that's very interesting that that is standard procedure over there. I am a Veterinary Nurse and also have cats (plus am partial to a bit of pinkish steak now and again) so I felt I was at high risk and would just like to know if I have already contracted it or not and my GP wouldn't refer me to have it done. My GP is very nice and as usual as a chocolate teapot I have realised to be honest! He gave me conflicting advice on antihistamines and getting information out of him was like pulling teeth - surely it's up to them to suggest alternatives and not for the patient to have to research themselves and then ask the GP about the things they have discovered....

Anyway, rant over!!!

Fuls · 14/05/2013 07:25

Morning x
I'm from the Midlands looks like I'm on my lonesome lol over the last week I've had 4 of my colleagues confide in me that they are pregnant and I wanted to shout me too but I didn't lol

Has anybody else had uncomfortable but not unbearable lower back ache?

Sultanajo · 14/05/2013 07:26

Sunny I had two days of light brown discharge (around the time my period was due, when I had already had my bfp). Spotting can be normal and brown usually represents old blood from what I understand and if there isn't any pain associated with it then I wouldn't panic, but I would probably mention it to GP or midwife...?

BookTart · 14/05/2013 07:30

Fuls, my back ache was so bad yesterday that I called the EPU. The midwife wasn't concerned at all and thought it was probably just stretching pain, but said I should go to my GP in case it is a urine infection. Maybe worth getting checked out if it hangs around?

nomoreminibreaks · 14/05/2013 07:36

Fuls I have a mild backache like yours - not painful just a niggling pain iyswim. It's on my list to mention to the midwife when I see her next week.

chocoloulou33 · 14/05/2013 07:59

Morning all, I managed to get an extra hour sleep on sofa. MTBmummy good idea about fb group. Can def set up a private one. I wouldn't want all my friends seeing everything either x

TobyLerone · 14/05/2013 08:09

I'm in for FB as long as it's a private group. I'm a member of a couple of private groups and absolutely nothing can be seen by anyone not in it.

fryingpantoface · 14/05/2013 08:16

i'm up for a private group. I have no idea how to do it though :-)

LittlePeaPod · 14/05/2013 08:19

Hi ladies. I will share pics on here. Don't want to risk it. [Wink]

OP posts:
TobyLerone · 14/05/2013 08:21

Perhaps the FB group might be best left until we're all 12 weeks or so?

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 14/05/2013 08:21

I'm up for a private FB group - I can find out how to do it, but not till tomorrow, so if someone knows how now, that'll be faster!

I'm in E London (but moving to SE London before EDD) at the moment - hate it here.

No backache for me since first few days - bit sicky today, may be driving test nerves though!

See you ladies later!

TobyLerone · 14/05/2013 08:23

I have no idea how! The private groups I'm in were set up by someone else.

Good luck, Humpty!

LittlePeaPod · 14/05/2013 08:27

Arrrggg having a nightmare. Can't get ever expanding breasts in 3 work suits now. Rant over!!!!

Hi Pea, totally get where you're coming from, wouldn't want anyone knowing I was pg until I've at least had my 12 week scan. (well aside from my sister and my boss - my boss only knows as she's a friend and we were originally pg at the same time, and I miscarried, and she saw me sneaking pg tests into my bag at work)

I have set up a private FB group, which means you can't see the group, the members, or the posts in it unless you are a member of the group. The only snag with it being so secure is that I have to invite members, or be friends with you already on FB - so if you want to join please PM me your email address (linked to your FB account) and I'll drop you an invite.

MrsAVB · 14/05/2013 08:40

Hi all,
I am with pea on FB, would prefer not to. I mean, you might all find out that I'm not actually married to Andre Villas-Boas. So you will have to all promise not to carry on chatting here when you set one up!
MTB I am having crazy dreams too, mainly nightmares, which is not good as I'm waking up with heart racing and have to go vom.
My new routine of showering etc in the evening is so much better for vommyness in the morning, am still vomming but it seems more manageable without so much rushing around.
Have put my winter coat and boots back on today, the forecast is gross. It's may god dammit! Is anyone else worrying about bad weather when we give birth?
Also wondered if you lovely ladies have any tasty and quick ideas for lunches at work? I'm usually really good at making something the night before but can't really stomach it at the moment.
I'm in SE London.
Have a good day all xxx

MTBMummy · 14/05/2013 08:40

Good luck for today Humpty
