Mine started much earlier. I just had a sit down to feed piggy. DH is back at work today, and dds back at school. And need to figure out how to get everyone fed and put of the house on time. And all piggy wants to do is feed. Eek.

kittykatsforever · 03/06/2013 09:10

Oh I don't know how you manage that morning rush!! But still very envious of you getting all that alone time with you and bubs in the day, I get Friday but I'd love atleast another one where I got to stay in and enjoy baby without thinking dd1 will be bored or its my chance to do all the mundane things
How is he at night or does he want feeding all the time?

Jojobump1986 · 03/06/2013 13:01

Frus you could always home educate & then there'd be no school run to do & you could get on with the day whenever you wanted! Grin

D-day in T-11hrs & counting...!

bringonthetrumpets · 03/06/2013 13:42

LOL at piggy!

So excited the boys are starting full-weeks of school for this month. They are going to have way more fun with summer school projects, friends, and field trips than sitting at home with me not wanting to go anywhere! I'm so going back to bed when they set off with DH. 39 weeks today. Hmmph.

How are you feeling Jo? Are the hips and back feeling better after the day off?

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 03/06/2013 16:26

kitty piggy isn't too bad at night, but he just latches on and stays there all night, only waking to tell me it's empty and he wants the other side. It is nice having the time with dds at school, but it is hugely different to the smaller gap I had between the dd2.

jojo home ed isn't an option with my dds. Dd1 is too social and attention seeking and thrives at school. Dd2 is dd2, and tbh I enjoy the break.

Librarina · 03/06/2013 16:59

Ello!

I've just had a pregnancy massage and now I feel brilliant!

Just wanted to share that xxx

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 03/06/2013 17:48

Genetics stink. Sad and so does piggy

Librarina · 03/06/2013 18:08

Have you had bad news?

bringonthetrumpets · 03/06/2013 18:25

Oh sounds lovely Lib!

I got my hairs did Grin....and I had 1 contraction in the car ride home. That counts for something, right?

OP posts:
Lorelei353 · 03/06/2013 20:10

Sounds good Librarina I'm contemplating booking one for later in the week. Got my hairs did last week Bring Low maintenance cut that should last a while!

Frus everything okay?

Jojobump1986 · 03/06/2013 20:36

I haven't had my hair cut since about 2 months before DS1 was born! Blush I did attempt the MN haircut but I didn't want it too short & it didn't look great!

I'm a little less achy today, although my hips have been twinging occasionally. I nearly fell into the fridge trying to get the milk out this morning because my hip twinged & hurt so much!

I'm v rage-y this evening. DH was late home from work because he thought he'd allowed enough time for something but then it was more complicated than expected... Blah, blah...! He was supposed to be home in time to cook dinner so I didn't have to but in the end I just got on with it. He walked through the door at 6.45 & I'd got dinner to the point where some rice needed to be boiled & some veg needed sorting. It should've taken 20 minutes from that point... I asked him to take over so I could sit down. 'Sit down' apparently now means 'have DS clambering all over my bump & squealing if I try to stop him'! We eventually sat down for food at 7.50. I have no idea what DH was doing all that time! DS is still finishing his food & 'mmmm'ing in a flat monotone constantly. That's when he's not squealing. Both noises are ridiculously irritating at the best of times, let alone when I'm already in a mood! I'm too angry to eat & have had to leave the room to stop myself shouting at DS!

Argh! Angry

DH is supposed to be popping to the shop once DS is in bed... He will be returning with chocolate!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 03/06/2013 22:41

I got my hairs did last week Grin was meant to be the week before but ds' arrival meant it had to be rearranged a few times Grin

Deep breaths jojo good that you can leave the room. Your DH sounds as frustrating today as mine is being today. mine is sulking, so I'm ignoring him, I already have 3 kids in the house

Piggy has a condition that I hoped he wouldn't have. But it does now explain the judder thing that he does. I knew one of the dds did it. figured out which one and now it makes complete sence.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 03/06/2013 23:11

I love baby noises. I can decide whether ds is trying to sound like a sheep or an otter.

Lorelei353 · 03/06/2013 23:53

Srry to hear that frus. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Jojobump1986 · 04/06/2013 00:12

Sorry to hear that Frus. I'm glad the news isn't spoiling your enjoyment of his cute little noises! Grin

Happy due date to meeeee! Ok baby, time to be born now... No seriously... get out! Wink

bringonthetrumpets · 04/06/2013 01:33

Sorry to hear Frus Hopefully everything is ok!

Oh dear, those do all sound like very annoying things to be dealing with Jo!! Chocolate always makes it feel better. Yeah, time for your little one to come out. Today's the expiration due date! Here's to hoping it all kicks off for you tonight.

So.... tmi....dh and I dtd today in hopes of at least something happening in the ctx department.... bah! Haven't even had a BH ctx since! WTF?

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 04/06/2013 05:22

jojo those fantasia hippos are amazing! ps happy due date

It's not too bad, it could be much worse and its not life threatening, (so i really should be grateful) but it does suck. jojo nothing could take away enjoyment from the cute baby noises, or the cute way he holds on whilst drinking; as though its going to be taken away from him. Grin ooh I can't wait for you all to have your babies.

kittykatsforever · 04/06/2013 07:43

Sorry to hear that frus, you have a great attitude but you've been through alot and even if its not too bad I wish you didn't have to deal with any problems, yes I can't wait for everyone to have their new little additions, there should be an eject button you are allowed to press when you get to term! I think they know wed all have a push before then though I'd love to see you twirl like a hippo Jojo, do you have a tutu?Wink
Being well done you for dtd and bah for it not accomplishing the desired results, I've got to say as much as I wanted to be early I just didn't have that in me! ( or yet still poor dh)
That massage sounds great lib, I so missed out on all these things with my pregnancies, why didn't I think!!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 04/06/2013 09:47

kitty I think I know why they weren't keen on getting ds tested so soon, because with dd1 we knew she had it by the time she was tested. we have to manage it, it's so easy to sink into woe-is-me, especially in the early days. but with dd2s social circles we've come across so many people who are dealing with much worse. And know parents that deal amazingly with dcs with life-limiting or high-dependency conditions, and we have it so easy compared with what they must go through.

Any hoo, the HV is coming later, I wonder if piggy has hit 8lb yet? (7lb5 last Tuesday)

An eject button would be great, if baby doesn't arrive by 40wks, you press your bellybutton in and baby magically appears in your arms. Grin

bring I'm gutted for you that dtd didn't work. Maybe it has delayed results? Or needs repeated applications? Wink

Jojobump1986 · 04/06/2013 10:59

Baby #4/6 of my church's current baby boom has arrived today! Due 5 days ago & born at 10lb 8oz! Ouch! That means it's definitely my turn next. I officially know no other pregnant ladies who are due before me! Grin

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 04/06/2013 11:44

Ouchy, that's a weight.

Oh my goodness piggy is 8lb2.5oz! That's 390g in a week! He really is a piggy! Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 04/06/2013 13:30

Oooh yeah, that's a large one! I've seen an 11+ one, he looked like a 3 month old! Now I'm scared this one is going to be a monster-sized little girl.....Hmm.

No, no way, no repeated applications. Definitely wasn't worth going through again

bringonthetrumpets · 04/06/2013 21:14

So, here's my logic wishful thinking

Midwives called to cancel my apt this morning due to being at another birth. Babies usually come in clumps for midwives who have mums due around the same time. Which means, this kid should be here very soon. Right? right?

OP posts:
Librarina · 04/06/2013 22:33

I know I'm not due till Friday but I thought I'd push a 2 year old to the farm in her buggy and see what happens. Turns out nothing at all, but we did see some nice rabbits and calves and bump has found a new place to kick me (round the side, where my waist used to be)

Got MW appointment tomorrow, going to try and pretend I'm overdue so she might give me a teeny tiny sweep.

bringonthetrumpets · 04/06/2013 23:56

Ooh Lib this is a new attitude! What made you decide you're ready to be done?
