How are you doing kitty? Any developments?

Librarina · 19/05/2013 06:54

Ooooh, will keep fingers crossed for you Kitty either that its labour, or that it goes away if you're not ready yet.

DH and I had a lovely session with my yoga teacher (who is also a 'BirthLight' practitioner talking about having the baby, and labour and what to do. We're going to make a 'cave' in our house so I can be all safe, like a fox, and we're learning how to communicate in quite a basic, primal way. It's really interesting and is making me really look forward to the birth. We have another session with her this morning looking at signs of tension and ways that DH can advocate for me when we get to hospital.

Then tomorrow I've a midwife coming round to give me aromatherapy, so it feels like the preparation is really gearing up a step. Unlike baby who is happily nestled high up in my bump. And that's fine with me.

kittykatsforever · 19/05/2013 08:08

Yes I was in labour, went in hospital about 3 ish and examined at 4 was 4cm then and they are going to do another exam in the next 30 mins where they will be hoping I'm atleast 6, feel calm now as had my epidural although had a few problems with lines going in etc at beginning, getting nervous hoping everything will be ok and I can push her out safetly but so far so good x

Jojobump1986 · 19/05/2013 08:56

Woohoo! Grin Hope it all goes smoothly for you kitty! How exciting!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 19/05/2013 09:32

Another baby on the way to join the bus. Yay!

Lorelei353 · 19/05/2013 10:38

Another baby on the way. Hope you're feeling well Kitty and all goes ok

bringonthetrumpets · 19/05/2013 12:30

So exciting that there's another babe on the way! Hopefully kitty's baby is earthside and she's getting lots of cuddles and newborn neck nuzzling in.

This yoga teacher sounds wonderful Lib! What a great way for you and DH to connect and prepare for this little one together. Aromatherapy is so nice, enjoy!!

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 19/05/2013 13:00

No real pain. Only a pain in the bum They just leak when they can't take any more. Grin Blush
If I was a bit slimmer and didn't have a post-baby-bump I'd give Katie Price a run for her money. Wink

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 19/05/2013 15:14

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 20/05/2013 04:57

Dont be fooled bring bus statistics suggest that you'll have a baby before 39weeks. Wink Grin

kittykatsforever · 20/05/2013 07:13

Lol morning all, don't worry bring ours is the early bus, just feeding little miss kitty her breakfast, somehow her arrival was times to perfection as my ward was empty all night, feel like the luckiest girl right night! apart from nipples.... Forgot how much those bad boys hurt when you start

Lorelei353 · 20/05/2013 09:46

bring I don't exactly feel ready to go either, so I'll be keeping you company on the bus for a while yet! I was 37 weeks yesterday though so yay to full-term! Something comforting about teaching that milestone.

My mum arrives this afternoon from Dublin to keep me company for the next 5 days and just hang out. Really excited. She's always good fun.

kitty sounds like you had a good night and are totally loved-up. So very lovely.

I also found out yesterday that one of my DH's two pregnant friends had her little boy on Friday (she was due today). Lovely healthy babies and mamas everywhere!

bringonthetrumpets · 20/05/2013 14:52

Haha, well I'll just take those stats. I just have a feeling this little lady is going to go over the guess date and I've never been pregnant for longer than 39 weeks. Trying to just be at peace with that, and then I have mini-freakouts like last night. Oiy.

Have a great time with your mum Lor!

How are things going Jo? Lib?

So excited to see more pics of little miss kitty and to hear how things are going once you're able to go home.

Must be feeling great to be home Frus! Hope you and little guy are settling back in and relaxing.

Loads of BH ctx today and low back pain. I think I did too much this morning :0/
