ananikifo · 05/05/2013 16:47

Oh yes, and I am up for a Facebook group, too!

Slippysnow · 05/05/2013 17:39

flyer in response to your support with the new baby and dog I started a thread to share stories and ideas to help training. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1744096-Mums-to-be-that-are-dog-owners-sharing-wisdom-and-stories?pg=3&order=

There is also a book that I would recommend called tell your dog you're pregnant

pinkbuttons · 05/05/2013 18:03

ana go for it! no one will.notice and if they do just tell them the baby did it Wink Ive eaten 4 beetroot this week... also meant to be in a salad for picnic today.
oh no natalie hope your being looked after and able to rest now, weve also been for a day out to London and hips are so sore!
notsoold sorry to hear about your DS, mine has the same problem whenever he has a cold and its so scary, sending you my sympathy.
Id also be happy with fb group if private Smile

tuckingfits · 05/05/2013 18:06

Private fb group sounds good. :)

PseudoBadger · 05/05/2013 18:17

I'm still on the FB group for my June EDD and it's great, we should definitely have one

PseudoBadger · 05/05/2013 18:17

Must be secret though!

Smitten1981 · 05/05/2013 18:52

I'd be up for a FB group. Would be good for pic sharing!

cuillereasoupe · 05/05/2013 18:53

We have a shi tzu who is getting rather elderly now, we do wonder how he'll adjust to the new arrival but he's a very sedate chap in general so I think it'll be fine.

And yes, I'd be up for a FB group!

Slippysnow · 05/05/2013 18:58

I don't have/like Facebook, but hopefully some people will be left to chat here. :)

Shootingstarsandcomets · 05/05/2013 19:01

I'd do Facebook if it was private but yes wouldn't want it to exclude people who weren't on wouldn't want the chat on here to end.

Tarlia · 05/05/2013 19:03

Thank you. Just have my fingers crossed that preeclampsia doesn't rear it's ugly head again or for any others on the thread.

pinkbuttons if that was meant for me about the breathing issues, thank you. How old is your DS now? Did he out grow it?

Flyer747 · 05/05/2013 19:10

Thanks to everyone for the dog tips, slippysnow I will have a ganders on amazon tonight and buy that book, I like the title, amusing!

I'd be up for a Facebook group too if someone starts it, as I'd have no clue how to start a private group...

pinkbuttons · 05/05/2013 19:16

oops sorry tarlia was meant for you, can I blame baby brain yet? DS now 2.3 and still bad, but definitely better. Hes been on antibiotics and steroids already 3 times since January but we havent had any hospital visits (touch wood) since October. I dont know if Im getting better on picking it up earlier or hes able to tell me more but Im hoping its the start of him growing out of it. how old is your DS?

GTbaby · 05/05/2013 19:30

Ok. I've made the group private. Which means its a bit hard to add ppl. So let me work out the easiest way n ill start adding you all

Tarlia · 05/05/2013 19:34

pinkbuttons funnily enough my DS is 2.3 too. Fab that you've been avoiding hospital! We've had a few visits to the night doctor based there (many day visits with our dr) but no ward visits for a whole year, until last week. He only has the blue pump, but I think I'm going to book an appointment with my dr and discuss an emergancy steroid pump too as no cold with it this time which scares me a bit. I too am getting very good at noticing the signs, counting bpm etc and had been treating it, I think he deteriorated pretty rapidly while DP was taking him to the Drs - bet you often feel like a lemon with the frequent visits too.

GTbaby · 05/05/2013 19:35

Ok. I think I need to add you on FB first. Then invite you to group.
Send me a pm. With your full name n description of your picture. N ill add you.

No one can see you are part of the group other then those already in the group.

Shootingstarsandcomets · 05/05/2013 20:33

And me!

Wickedgirl · 05/05/2013 20:36

Is anyone else giving birth in Barnet hospital? I have opted for the midwife led unit this time.......hopefully my 20 week scan won't change that!

Haylebop12 · 05/05/2013 20:57

GT think your gonna be busy this evening!

PseudoBadger · 05/05/2013 21:00

Wicked, I think we might be 'neighbours' - barnet is my closest hospital but I'm going to the Whittington instead
