Thanks Mama. I am in now and starting to feel quite excited.

Zorra · 29/04/2013 06:50

Good luck Dizzi thinking of you today! As Mamma said, your baby just needs you, and you magically transform to fulfil all those needs.

lollypopsicle · 29/04/2013 07:22

ng1412 · 29/04/2013 07:30

Boodstress · 29/04/2013 10:22

Good luck Dizzi I was exactly the same last Thursday but you will
Run off adrenalin once the little one is in your arms. I'm still sore but massive difference every day.. Take all the pain relief they offer after x

TigerSwallowTail · 29/04/2013 10:31

Congratulations gold! :o Wonderful news.

Good luck dizzi. Don't panic, you'll be fine.

For those of us that are still left and are keen to get things moving - Morrisons are selling pineapples at 50p each. I've ate about 3 already whilst bouncing on my birthing ball!

TigerSwallowTail · 29/04/2013 10:38

I feel like I'm the only one still pregnant, everyone else have either already had their babies or havr started to go into labour, even my friends cat went into labour last night! How many of us are left?

Baby is getting very big now and some of her movements are hurting quite a bit as she runs out of space. Last night she kept kicking my ribs really hard. It was so sore that I jumped a couple of times too, is anyone else experiencing the same?

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/04/2013 10:44

Tiger Nearly all my friends have had their babies just me and one other to go. My baby is head down curled around with his feet on my right side. I have a foot almost constantly poking out its really uncomfortable. He's either really long so can't manoeuvre his legs up a bit or really big Shock

ng1412 · 29/04/2013 11:21

I am still here Tiger and Beaut, nothing happening at all. Only 37+1 so expecting a long wait. Was induced with my DD at 39 weeks so don't know if she would have been late or not but at least I know I only have a max of 2 weeks with my c section booked.

MammaBrussels · 29/04/2013 11:56

Another one joining Tiger, Beaut & NG on the subs bench, just got back from the Dr. Baby not engaged and cervix firmly shut - still waiting. another appointment next week to discuss induction, which he is totally fine with.

Hope all has gone well for you Dizzi

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/04/2013 12:04

I'm not even due until the 16th its just I really thought I would of had him by now. Not sure why as Ive not had an early baby before. I'm going to make an attempt to put the cot together now maybe that will help Grin

shelly81 · 29/04/2013 12:29

I'm still here too ladies 37 + 2 xx

TigerSwallowTail · 29/04/2013 12:39

Hopefully we won't be too long then. I'm just back from a scan after bleeding and cramps last week, everything is fine but the doctor said she reckons that I had my show on Friday, or at least some of it, but can't predict if I'll go into labour soon.

You're due before me beaut, I'm due on the 22nd but after my false alarm I'm desperate for her to come now, I had psyched myself up for having her over the weekend as the same happened when I was pregnant before with DS and I had him that night.

DXBMermaid · 29/04/2013 13:02

Just got back from seeing the Dr and the Fysio.

Fysio was interesting, had a vaginal examination to determine of I was using the right muscles when doing my pelvic floor exercises. Thankfully I am! I was so unsure of if I was using the right ones and if they had any strength in them. I need to do a lot for of them to build up strength but at least I've been doing the right thing.

Asked Gyny about the strep-B infection and in particular how long I would get before being induced if my waters broke. The answer was, as soon as my waters break I should go to hospital and they will induce immediately... Hoping that won't happen. Bought some probiotics for me and the baby yesterday, but she seems to think they are a load of nonsense. Well they might be, but I am going to give them a shot anyway.

Good luck to all the ladies who are close to giving birth! I am so very much in two minds about it. On the one hand I am so excited about finally meeting my daughter, on the other hand I feel unprepared for the reality of actually becoming a Mum and want her to stay inside right up until she is due... Confused

InNeedofSomeSleep · 29/04/2013 13:20

I'm still here to, 38 weeks tomorrow. Had no sign of baby thinking of coming and no braxton hicks. Gonna get a ball so I can start trying out the bouncing see if that works. I have made plans everyday this week just to pass the time.

DizziDoll · 29/04/2013 13:21

Baby Fleur Eleanoor was born at 8:45 this morning, weighing 3.86kg. She is gorgeous! I am in love.

shelly81 · 29/04/2013 13:29

Awww congrats dizzi beautiful name :-) another lil lady to the thread xxxx

TigerSwallowTail · 29/04/2013 13:35

Congratulations dizzy Smile that's lovely, I bet she's a beautiful little girl too.

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/04/2013 13:53

Congratulations Dizzy another beautiful name.

I have just finished putting up the cot. Very proud of myself Grin

SevenReasonsToSmile · 29/04/2013 14:01

Congratulations dizzi.

Plenty of us left tiger. I'm not due until 31st but the other two were a month early. It's frustrating knowing it could start at any moment, but also I could still have another 5 weeks! I felt like it was close yesterday, today I don't feel anywhere near.

SevenReasonsToSmile · 29/04/2013 14:02

Well done beaut. I'd probably get told off by DH if I don't ours, plus I have zero energy.

35+3
