Forgot to say pseudobadger, I had a fall when pg with dd and landed on my bump. Went to the hospital to get checked out but all was fine and midwife said exactly what you were told - they're very cushioned in there

Crookie1 · 04/04/2013 23:16

Thanks for the positivity, think I am a major worrier so so appreciate it. Hope to put my pic up in 2 weeks!

I am due exactly 3 weeks after my sister but found out at the weekend that my SIL was due 3 weeks apart from her brother but ended up being born 4 hours apart...you never know! Smile

legallyblond · 04/04/2013 23:47

Although I suspect I may be first... Thought I was due on 1 Oct but they put me forward to 28 Sept. Because it's twins, def won't go beyond 38 weeks and 37 or earlier is likely, so early Sept probably (I hope so as don't want them too early!) with 14 Sept being the latest possible date!!!

Irishfairy · 05/04/2013 00:35

Hi ladies,

I was away on hols and my Internet access was rubbish so I haven't been able to log on in ages. Have probably missed loads! Will try and catch up when it's not so late!
Hope everyone is doing well?
Had our scan yesterday at exactly 13 weeks and all well. Little baby was so wriggly which was cute. Told DD and she was really excited and adamant it's a girl. She also asked this morning if the baby was coming out today and tried to see it through my belly button. Grin
Hope everyone sleeps well, night night

34PinkLadyApple · 05/04/2013 07:42

Morning ladies! Congrats on all the scan news and pics. Hope tuesday scan brings you more answers MoN.

15.2 weeks here and (think) i have been feeling flutterings after sneezing! I have had a very sensitive nose since bfp so poor baby has been subjected to lots of sneezing. Wasnt till i sneezed at the scan that i realised how much it moved about afterwards! Got my 16 week appointment next thur and h2b is coming along to hear the heartbeat, yay! 20week scan on may 8th and still undecided whether to find out what flavour baby is. I am quite nosey but may regret not having the surprize?! Got given a load of stuff at the weekend including a red bugaboo frog! Soooo lucky to have friends that have done all their breeding and are clearing out crap Grin. Any more scans today???

PseudoBadger · 05/04/2013 07:49

Thanks everyone, I feel very stiff today after my fall but no blood or anything. Scan tomorrow...

fish88 · 05/04/2013 07:51

Crookie I am also having my scan on 16th April. I am still feeling very tired but morning sickness has disappeared so hoping baby is still in there!

Natalieand · 05/04/2013 08:58

Good luck to anyone scanning today let us no how u get on :-)

Just updated stats thread with my new edd :-)

Haylebop12 · 05/04/2013 09:14

Morning all.

Feeling a little better this morning. Looking forward to going home, they just need to test my urine but I'm pretty sure I'm not dehydrated anymore. My scan seems so close now :-) still terrified however because of last year but hey go, what will be will be.

Had my own private room during this admission so no snoring an other weird noises to contend with and apart from being woken for BP and meds I had a decent night sleep.

Good luck to those scanning today, look forward to seeing your piccies.

roofio87 · 05/04/2013 09:16

quick one for you ladies, especially those that have been through this before!! I'm 14 weeks today and can definitely feel my uterus poking out at the bottom of my tummy now.especially when lying down in bed first thing in the morning. but its poking out much more on my right side. I can feel it a little to the left but then as I move my hand over to the right its much more noticeable. does this sound normal? is it just where to baby is lying do you think? have only noticed it the last few days!!

hope everyone else is well today Smile

JellyCurls · 05/04/2013 09:47

roofio can't fee my uterus yet at 14+5 days but not really looked for it. However from previous preg and when I was thinner my bump would move position every day so I don't think it's anything to worry about.

hayle hope you get home today and start feeling better soon

Good luck to all those scanning today

legallyblond · 05/04/2013 10:12

Roofio - I also can't feel my uterus yet (14+6) but remember that when I did last time (from about 16.5 I think), it def moved around day to day! Hope that helps x

roxvox · 05/04/2013 10:13

roofio87 what do you mean you can feel your uterus? With your hands, or just a general feeling of tightness around that area? Only asking because I want to feel mine!

I was getting the occasional flutters last week/over the weekend (probably 3 or 4 times max), but they have since stopped, so naturally I am panicking like hell not worried, and assuming that baby has moved to a different position and so I cannot feel him/her anymore. Right? I am 14w 2d.

roxvox · 05/04/2013 10:14

Glad you're feeling better today haylebop. I hope they release you today and that that's the end of the MS for you!

Haylebop12 · 05/04/2013 10:22

Thanks everyone, I'm home now, well at my mums for more TLC as dh working till 6. Dd in holiday club so it's nice and quite. I'm thinking bacon on toast sounds good. Doc reckons an improvement from about 14 weeks so prob got another couple weeks to get through and hopefully will start to blossom.

IRT feeling your uterus, I'm not really very good at things like that. There is a firm area just above pubic bone so I'm guessing that's it?

roofio87 · 05/04/2013 10:25

I mean with my hands. I'm quite slim and have a flat stomach normally but now when I'm lying down I can definitely feel the bottom of my tummy right on the hair line sticking out a bit and its much harder than normal. my dp can feel it too (which freaks him out, just wait till it starts kicking!!) I was on a lot of medication a while back that blocked me up a bit so the nurse taught me to massage my tummy and definitely used to be a lot squidgier than it is now!!Wink

cherrycherry41 · 05/04/2013 11:07

roofio i have the hard little bump too. Between my cs scar and just below my belly button, very hard and slightly pronounced Smile 13+ 5 today and i have dd 6 months so have knackered stomach muscles. Definately a bump growing there Grin

SeriousStuff · 05/04/2013 11:19

Apologies for not responding to any of the above posts first but I feel rotten and looking for some help - I have a stinking cold (painful sinuses, constant sneezing, blocked nose, headache, can't sleep)...what can I take? I really want some Vick's more than anything as my sinuses are really getting on my nerves! Help!

legallyblond · 05/04/2013 11:25

Nothing but paracetamol I'm afraid. Rest if you can and take in vit c in food/drink. I discovered when last preg you can't even take ecchinacea, my best cold remedy!

SeriousStuff · 05/04/2013 11:31

Thanks legally I'd usually be dosed up to the max by now!

JellyCurls · 05/04/2013 11:31

Steam your face to help with sinus problems and plenty of hot drinks

Smitten1981 · 05/04/2013 11:33

roofio I can feel mine too, but only in the morning when I have a full bladder.

I'm starting to think I'm a bit futher along than I think, Scan on Monday though so I'll find out for sure then.

roofio87 · 05/04/2013 11:39

yes smitten that's definitely when I can feel it best!! I can't wait to get a proper bump!!Grin

Rockchick1984 · 05/04/2013 11:43

Serious get some saline nasal spray - fine to use while pregnant and excellent at clearing your sinuses (well, excellent compared to using nothing). One of those 4Head sticks too, helps relieve pressure headaches.

cazboldy · 05/04/2013 11:45

yes roofio i can feel it best in the morning too, mine is more to the left usually, and i think the same as you that the baby is lying there.

When I first get into bed at night and lay very still i think i have felt the odd flutter too Smile
