Hi all. Just catching up, welcome to the new people!

Yy to being 'moist' I found my knickers went a bit thin in the crotch region during my first pregnancy! Oh and I craved salt last time and had a girl. I was reading that an indicator to the sex can be how your boobs react due to hormones. If its a girl they're bigger and if its a boy there's not much change. We should see how that one fairs!

Only one more still till our scans Ready and others. Starting to get nervous, plus the snow is pretty bad around here which is adding to my anxiety levels.

frogchops · 11/03/2013 09:06

All day conference. Yaawwwnn. Definitely not enough biscuits on this table!

fl0b0t · 11/03/2013 09:46

Erg, Read these pages, linked to by NHS email! www.babycentre.co.uk/a563255/pregnancy-feelgood-calendar-first-trimester#section9

I'd prefer to feel well enough to tidy the living room rather than lighting candles and doing deep conditioning treatments on my hair!

purplebynature · 11/03/2013 10:00

Apologies if this was pointed out in an earlier thread but..Hey andadietcoke, Keepsmilingsunshine, dorapeppageorgenoddy, PoppettyPing, LotsaTuddles, Daisy299, and Wibblytummy,
After my scan my EDD confirmed as Sept 13th like you guys, my DH says you do realise its Friday 13th 2013??!! Haha. He wants to call it Damian now!
SOME of us WILL have our babies then. And the rest of you on here are not safe either.
Teehee. I was born on a 13th myself and always loved it when my birthday was a Friday.

Manoodledo · 11/03/2013 10:24

I'm sure that I'm not as big as I was at this point with DS2. Not sure what to make of that, if anything. At least it means I should be spared my mum's annoying comments about whether I should really be so big so early. Grr! Trying to rein in the toast eating. For the past three years I've been largely bread-free (it's a great, simple way of keeping my weight down) but recently I've been all about the hot buttery toast. I'm starting to cut down by only one slice at a time instead of two. Not sure if I can now imagine going back to a life without it though...

Creamtea1 · 11/03/2013 10:49

manoodle we have some similarities going on- I've been white carb free for just over a year, for same reason (weight loss) and then got pregnant and bang - crumpets and toast back with a vengeance! However, I'm not as big as I was with ds1 and 2. DH says still can get away with not looking preg if I wear good clothes to disguise!
I also had very 'helpful' comments last time from my mum about being the size of a house, and then the best one - a week after I had ds2 - she told me I should be going to see doctor/midwife as there must be something wrong internally as 'your stomach really shouldn't still look that big and pregnant' Biscuit Hmm

fl0b0t · 11/03/2013 11:08

Oh god creamtea you realise you just said crumpet? And I'm hiding inside today and have NO CRUMPETS? :-S

Creamtea1 · 11/03/2013 11:13

Arrrrgh sorry flo ! Is there anyone who can bring you emergency crumpet delivery?

Re salt cravings - I am usually worlds biggest sweet tooth person and would always chose cake/choc over anything else - last pregnancy was our of control for sweet stuff - however, this time it's all savoury. I turned down a bar of fruit and nut last night in favour of a bag of bacon flavour crisps...

Kittenkatzen · 11/03/2013 11:31

creamtea I'd have taken both :o

I'm not really sure whether I look pregnant yet or not, some days I think I do and other days not so much. Last Friday at work I had one person tell me I looked really pregnant, and another person compliment me on looking quite slim still Confused

Sorry some of you are still feeling crappy - really hope the ms buggers off from this thread completely soon!

Oh, and a piece of advice - don't try doing pelvic floor exercises on a packed commuter train if you're suffering with trapped wind. The gurgling noises coming from my tummy were SO loud.... BlushBlush

fl0b0t · 11/03/2013 12:27

hehe kitten sounds fun! Every time I see the words "pelvic floor exercises" I think OH YES MUST DO. But otherwise mostly forget!

It's windy today and the neighbours fence that mostly fell down about 5 weeks ago has now been skewered by something metal that appears to have broken in the neighbours' garden! D'oh- ah well, 11 days until it apparently gets fixed by the council!

I found soup and grated cheese and bread so have lived! :)

LittleVMumtoBe · 11/03/2013 13:28

Hi everyone I'm 15 weeks tomorrow. I think I felt some flutters but it's been a while now - perhaps was 'something else' instead!

EmmaDee · 11/03/2013 13:40

Hi all,

Hope you are all well, 12 weeks today and most of my symptoms have disappeared, just the breathlessness and tiredness still lurking!!

Do you stop taking folic acid at 13 weeks?

JammyTummy · 11/03/2013 13:46

I only ever do my pelvic floor exercises precisely when I see/ hear the words 'pelvic floor exercises', like now. I can honestly say they have not crossed my mind once without someone wise with a very toned pelvic floor reminding me to do so...

JammyTummy · 11/03/2013 13:47

Ps LittleV I'm 15 weeks tomorrow too!

beans37 · 11/03/2013 14:13

I need to do pelvic floors. After two nippers already, every time I sneeze I leak a little. But only since I got preggers. V depressing.

I've got 3 weddings this summer and have just bought this dress What do you think?

Kittenkatzen · 11/03/2013 14:19

oooh beans that's pretty. Looks really comfy too - good buy!

littleV I keep lying in bed at night willing myself to feel something, but nothing yet haha! Unsurprising at 13+4 though Hmm

beans37 · 11/03/2013 14:22

Thanks! I'm v pleased with it as find lots of maternity dresses a bit uninspiring. Hope to sell it after too, as this WILL be my last baby!

BinarySolo · 11/03/2013 14:24

Has anyone else's ms got worse? I thought it was easing off but it got far worse lately. Still not every day thankfully but 4 days out of 7 last week and sick again this morning. I'm 15 weeks on Thursday, surely this should be ending soon.

Creamtea1 · 11/03/2013 14:24

Finally got nuchal results letter and am low risk, 1 in 1800. Quite happy with that

BinarySolo · 11/03/2013 14:27

That's fab creamtea. Really low, bet you're very relieved.

OP posts:
LCR77 · 11/03/2013 14:31

Second trimester officially starting today Grin

Also nuchal results on Friday 1 in 100,000. Pretty shocked considering I'm 35 but very happy

Creamtea1 · 11/03/2013 14:34

binary I've had nausea back over the weekend too - am 15 weeks on thurs. was really hoping it would have gone by now - its defo worse when tired though.

LCR that's a great result! I'm just turned 36 and mine was 1 in1800. I think with ds1 it was 1 in 50.000 but I was a spritely 28 then!

Readytosettle · 11/03/2013 14:38

My mum alerted me to seraphine yesterday....definitely going to be investing in some of their work dresses!

Whyriskit · 11/03/2013 14:42

Still lots of nausea here too, much more sick with this one than with DS1 and 2.

BinarySolo · 11/03/2013 15:27

I'm due the same day as you creamtea! Think I've got a slight cold which is making me feel even more vommy. I think it must be pay back for a symptom free first pregnancy!
