EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 06/05/2013 21:25

Keep popped couple of pics on my profile, I have done it from my phone but for some reason they are sideways Blush you can still tell what a beauty she is :):)

keepitgoing · 07/05/2013 04:01

Oh boo, she is just the most adorable thing ever!!!! :) congratulations!

sparks make sure you don't count your mat leave wrong and keep going in! How exciting.

I am off to try an antenatal pilates/yoga class. Am concerned I might look like a fraud due to lack of bump...?

Well, yoga was a bit tame for this stage tbh. Most people had huge bumps, there was one lady at 16 weeks. I think I'll keep looking - my old place is a bit hardcore, and this one not enough...

sparks surely, Surely, people will give you a seat! If not then please ask, and shame them into it.

My scan is on the 25th, when I'll be 13+1. It would have been next Friday at 12 weeks, but I am away - my parents are coming to visit on Friday - yay! I tried to get it done at 11+4, but they said 13 is better. Ages.

rubber when's yours?

sweetie I think you're 6 weeks today! Congrats lovely. Only 7 days till scan now.

RubberBullets · 07/05/2013 08:22

No idea when my scan is. I have to wait for the letter. I hope it will be next week as I am 11 weeks tomorrow.

SweetieTime · 07/05/2013 08:38

yes I am 6 week today and my scan is a week today. Nothing much to report yet. still feeling surprisingly normal. long may it continue.

Sparks if I were on your bus I would give you my seat. I am sure you won't have to stand.

Keep is that your nuchal scan? they have to be done between specific dates?

I have sunburnt my shins which is most uncomfortable. I am not sure what i can use on it so sticking with just moisturising cream. I am sure it will calm down in a day or so. serves me right for not putting any suncream on.

keepitgoing · 07/05/2013 08:48

Yes, sweetie, I think 11+4 to 13+6. Glad you feel OK still

Sparks what a great idea about keeping my cream in the fridge. I will pop down and put it in there now. I keep forgetting I am diffed but I would still give you my seat while I still can. Grin It is amazing that my body hopefully is forming a whole new person. I cannot think about it too much as it freaks me out.
I haven't booked to see my gp yet. am waiting until after 7 week scan next week. Just in case there is nothing to see.

I have just found out that my colleague who has also been going through de ivf at the same clinic got her bfp this weekend too. I am so pleased for her as it might have been difficult if she hadn't. she has had 6 failed rounds with her oe and this was her last go with de. She also got 8 frozen too. I am a bit Envy that she got so many but there is no point being bitter. I still wish we had got a few more but it wasn't to be. Hope this doesn't make me sound like a horrible person.

keepitgoing · 07/05/2013 10:23

Ah, how lovely sweetie.

I know what you mean, but you don't have to fret about wasted embryos. I have 3 frozen... Anyway, you will have this one/two then a sibling (you froze one, right?) - perfect

I did that too Sparks I did a baby centre update on Friday to see what was happening that week, but didn't start until after my 7 week scan [crazy person]

Sweetie don't ever feel bad, your feelings are absolutely understandable!

SweetieTime · 07/05/2013 13:10

boo I am the same not wanting to think of anything past my 7 week scan next week. Then I might sign up for these emails telling you normal expected weekly progress. Sparks I have had a look at the food related size guide and I am between a pepper corn and lentil Confused now in my world I don't think there is much difference between a pepper corn and a lentil.

Grin at Sparks and twinks being a genetically modified pineapple. Poor twinks is getting bad press

Keep have they given you any info on how they proceed with frosties? Do they defrost more than one at once in case one doesn't make it through the process? With us only having one I would hate to be all prepared and having taken all the meds only for our embie not to make it through the defrost. I think 3 is a great number as you can use all those without the worry of left over embies. That would be such a dilemma when you have gone this far to get your embies. If we get time I will have a word with the clinic about it next week.

DD became known as Spud due to reading that she was the size of a potato. I'm currently referring to this one as Bob.
