Keep I'm sure all is going to be fine. Musical had a lot of bleeding during her early pregnancy and baby brain is preventing me from remembering which brooker had a whole period at the start.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/04/2013 12:27

It was Smegs who had a whole period and missed 4 weeks of pg! brooking super hard for tomorrow.

keepitgoing · 15/04/2013 13:46

Thanks, I know she did but that was at four weeks, I am 7+3. Anyway, nothing to do but wait.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/04/2013 13:53

oh Keep we will wait with you xx

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/04/2013 14:10

Forgot to update, my induction is booked for 2 weeks today, I will be 39+3. I am a bit disappointed as I was told it would be done at 38 so back to trying everything else to get this baby out! All suggestions welcome apart from doing the sex, just can't be bothered Grin

keep, brooking super hard for you. Rubber is right - I had lots of bleeding throughout the first trimester. Spotting a few times, but torrents of blood at others (sorry for the TMI).

Try to keep yourself busy mentally so you can't spend time worrying about it lots. There are so so many reasons for bleeding during early pregnancy, and it's actually a lot more normal than anyone thinks. Doesn't stop it from being incredibly scary though.

Also, I hope the scan eases your worries, but be prepared for it to make you mental more. I had a first scan - can't remember how many weeks (maybe around 7?) and they could just see the sac, no heartbeat, and I had to wait two weeks for my next scan. Will they test your blood for hCG levels? They did that for me, and to see the levels rising helped calm my nerves a little... brooking hard, as I know how worrying it is :(

Boo... get bouncing! :) Sorry they've moved your date though, that must be so frustrating. However, maybe you'll go into labour naturally before, which will be much nicer than a forced eviction..? Brooking for you that things get moving!

When's your first scan Rubber? (I'm so jealous Wink )

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/04/2013 15:38

Fire it up Sparks I will do nearly anything to get this thing born now!! Have spoken to my mw, she will do another sweep next Monday for me, so between now and then it is bouncing on the big ball and avoiding the advice of Mr B (which means me making a Shock face)

RubberBullets · 15/04/2013 16:54

Still waiting for my booking appointment, let alone a scan date Musical

Morning, brooking for you Keep Thanks

keepitgoing · 16/04/2013 08:06

Thanks girls. It was all fine. PHEW!! We saw the heartbeat and everything. It was amazing and I had a little cry... He didn't know what caused the blood but suggested maybe the rat smacking, which was embarrassing, I didn't want to say it was v slow, much less violent than his dildo cam!

boo sorry you have to wait another two weeks... Did they say why?

keepitgoing · 16/04/2013 08:08

musical they've not done any hcg tests as I think that tells you more earlier on, and all was fine on the scan. Thanks though :) see you back here soon...? ;)

Keep I am so pleased for you, brilliant news!! I would did have had a little cry too.

They said as my diabetes is well controlled, the baby is growing at a normal rate rather than the accelerated rate and I have delivered a big one before, also (and probably most importantly) my cervix is still quite thick and baby is quite high up so they feel it is safe to leave it longer.

But back to you GrinGrin how far are you, is it 7 weeks? What's next?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/04/2013 08:16

Sparks we have not smacked the rat since the early days of pg, I felt too poorly in the first weeks then my body just started aching, leaking, swelling and being just generally unattractive Blush

Once in 30 weeks sparks? Grin

boo I guess that's good news, then, as all is looking normal. Well done you. But let's try and get it out naturally instead. Curry, sex, exercise...

I am 7+4, measured 7+2 but there's a bug margin for error so am not worried. Next scan in two weeks private medicine. But more excitingly I get to stop the fanny candles, progesterone pessaries, at nine weeks, so just ten more days :)

You guys are the best :)

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/04/2013 10:33

Ooh 2 weeks, it will really be taking shape as a little person :) When can we name it??

I suppose it is good news that everything is normal with booby, I was just ready for it this week, hey ho, onwards for another 13 days do I really have to do the sex??

keepitgoing · 16/04/2013 10:55

You can name it now... cup had suggested kip but I told her no names till after today. Fire away!

Ah, go on boo, after all you won't want to after the birth. It might be fun?! And the longer booby stays the bigger he gets... Do it!

Thanks sparks, the differences must be tiny at this stage, and a wobbly mouse on a blurry screen... Not that accurate!

AN class will be good. Are they every week? Everyone I know makes friends at these heaps on pressure Is mrsparks going too?
