Grrrr my dd just grabbed my phone sent the unfinished message!

Was just saying I'd have to hide them!!

Theicingontop · 09/03/2013 08:41

We've been talking names since DS was a few months old, we always knew we'd have this sort of gap before a second child.

I've got a girl's name I've loved since I was a child, but we don't have a boy's name at all and we can't find a single one we like. The only boy's name we've ever liked is what DS is named! So we're hoping it's a girl so we don't have to think too hard Grin

Or it will be OH junior.

Ooh the throwing up sounds horrible, look forward to that if it hits.
still so tired but dragging myself to an aerobics class at 10.30. Because some of my friends go to i cant really tell instructor i am 6 weeks pregnant, but im finding exercise really hard at the moment. have you girls got any tips on this? Doctor said to carry on gymming and running as usual, but its so hard.

vix206 · 09/03/2013 09:40

I've got my booking in appt on 25 March so I guess I will get a scan date after that. From dates it should be first week of May for me.

Don't know how you can still be exercising, I'm exhausted just keeping up with DS! Wink

Probably been mentioned previously but I highly recommend the seabands. They really helped last time with nausea and seem to be doing the trick again.

suprisepitstop · 09/03/2013 10:01

Vix its my first pregnancy so i have it a lot easier than most of you, as i dont have other dc to look after whilst being exhausted. i guess im a bit freaked out as its all new so im trying to hold on to my 'normal' routine as much as i can.

Fairydogmother · 09/03/2013 10:29

Keep well hydrated and don't overheat. If you need to stop then do it and blame it on a virus or something!

I'm off bridesmaid shopping nod still pondering whether to ring my mom and break the news Confused

Dizzy81 · 09/03/2013 10:57

Grr I'm feeling neurotic again, so please some one tell me to stop. I get the occsasional feeling something's not right and then I'm happy as can be looking forward to the future. Sorry to unload.

Fairydogmother · 09/03/2013 11:06

Seems to be par for the course dizzy!

I phoned my parents. Mom was out and dad just said o flip I'm too old to be a granda. No congratulations or anything. I've had a cry and now it's just back to normal. No idea why my family aren't happy for us whereas the close friends I've told are overjoyed

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 09/03/2013 11:18

dizzy I feel the same way. Excited one minute the. Convinced it is going to go wrong. Symptoms come and go too. Was feeling ok earlier but am feeling sick again now.

Congrats to all the new BFPs. Especially purple sorry for your loss we will of course hold your hand.

Had an arguement with dp today. He has been really good helping out more with dd while I've been feeling crap. I think it's getting to him and he is getting snappy.
Trouble is with my hormones I'm feeling snappy too, it's not a good combination.

MustBeMental · 09/03/2013 11:25

Hi Ladies hope you are all well. I broke the news to my mum last night and she was of course thrilled and knew dc#4 was imminent. She asked if the more dc's you have the earlier you show? Anyone have any knowledge of this? x

fairy and whenshewasbad thank you for your reassurances. Ian's glad it's part of the course.

Told dh my concerns and he asked why and I said I don't know. Got told to stop being soo silly.

Fairy that's not the reply I'd expect. I. Sure your mum will be über excited!

stuffthenonsense · 09/03/2013 11:42

Mustbementa certainly for me it's earlier and earlier. Maternity clothes are already being worn as I can't bear waistbands with nausea and I have serious bloat right now.

busyprocrastinating · 09/03/2013 12:00

Welcome newbies. Gosh there are lots of us! I'm still in bed. Dh is looking after dd whilst I get some rest all of my other symptoms seem to have vanished just leaving me with exhaustion.

We still haven't told anyone yet.
Maybe it was just a shock fairy. And dizzy I think it is perfectly normal to feel like that and your hormones are probably not helping either.

Dizzy81 · 09/03/2013 12:18

Thanks all. Random question any one getting chills?

CheeseandGherkins · 09/03/2013 12:20

After I said earlier about talking things a day at a time I'm already stressing about the future. I'm worried about being in the nicu again and coping with dd3, assuming we get that far. I really can't bury another baby. I'm terrified that it will happen again. I know it will get worse the further on I get too. I spent my last pregnancy in and out of hospital habit scans, tests, ctgs and worrying that the baby would die again.

Trying to calm myself, only 5 weeks and worrying about everything. Really stressing. :(

Dizzy81 · 09/03/2013 12:22

cheeseandgerkins big hugs, everything will be ok. Stress isn't good for you or the baby. Hark at me.

getoffthecoffeetable · 09/03/2013 12:48

cheese massive hugs. We're all here when you need some handholding. It's a different hospital and they'll be monitoring you like crazy.
Going out to soft play shortly to meet some friends, last thing I feel like doing at the moment is racing around the soft play!

suprisepitstop · 09/03/2013 13:09

Cheese, hugs, youvd been through a lot, but im sure it will be fine this time,

vix206 · 09/03/2013 13:20

Dizzy - I'm getting loads of chills and then at other times I am boiling!!

getoffthecoffeetable · 09/03/2013 13:27

fairy sometimes Dad's say things without thinking. I'm sure your mum will be over the moon and she'll be really cross with him for being so insensitive xx

Fakebook · 09/03/2013 13:41

Cheese, sorry you're feeling like this. Try not to worry, it will be fine this time.

Dizzy, I'm getting chills too. I got these with DS too. They're like in the pit of my stomach and travel out to the body. I think it's because of bloody circulation changing and stuff. I'm wearing two jumpers right now and still cold.

I'm back in bed feeling really worn out. I'm not tired, but my throat is hurting and head is groggy. I just want to get to the second trimester now when you get your energy back!
