Wow Dizzy! Thx for doing such a fab list. This'll be DC2. I have a DD who is 6. Crazy age gap!

retroelle · 07/03/2013 19:08

Congrats Griffo! I'd been hoping someone else on their first pregnancy would have a similar edd to mine, so an extra welcome from me.

Fairydogmother · 07/03/2013 19:10

Congrats griffomais!

Thanks for doing the list ditty! So exciting to see so many people with the same due date as me.

Just watched last nights OBEM - and didn't cry!

pegster · 07/03/2013 19:36

Great lust ditty, thank-you.
Baby number 2 for me, DS is 17 months

GinSling82 · 07/03/2013 20:02

Congrats griffomais! That really is amazing news, you must be so excited. Grin

Thanks for the list Dizzy - was so nice to see my name and EDD - made me feel a bit more that this is all real!

I did another POAS today got my 3+ which I'm so pleased about, will reassure me for maybe 24 hours before I start worrying again. DH thinks I'm hilarious for still POAS but its nice to know that I'm not mad and other people are doing it too!

Definitely considering early scan but again DH thinks I'm mad, says we can if I want to but that it won't change the outcome and what's meant to be will be.

Still no nausea for me but sore boobs, sensitive nipples and sooo thirsty all the time!

getoffthecoffeetable · 07/03/2013 22:35

Congratulations griffo what an uplifting story. Very happy for you.
Am going from being ravenous to nausea very quickly. And have super human sense of smell too!

busyprocrastinating · 07/03/2013 22:45

Great news griffo congratulations.
I have got the super sense of smell too getoff have had to subtly cover my nose a couple of times when people have been wearing strong perfume.
All my symptoms seem to have disappeared today I don't know whether to worry or just enjoy a day off from feeling sick and emotional

MummaPanda · 07/03/2013 23:08

Ok seriously how many babies are in there?!?! I look 20weeks pg!!! Am majorly hoping this is weird pg bloating n is gna go away by morning cos theres no way im gna be able to hide it much longer if it carries on like this!! Sad

Fakebook · 07/03/2013 23:12

Congratulations griffo!

Stuff, I'm only 5wk+1, I'm thinking its my insides just flapping about getting ready for full sized baby!

Thanks for that magnificent list ditty!

So I've just had my first hormonal cry in this pregnancy. The Lola/Lexi scene at the end of eastenders has made me cry Confused.

Dizzy81 · 08/03/2013 04:39

Griffon massive congratulations!!!such a heart warming story.

I felt a flutter in my stomach earlier and got all excited! My poor dh must think I'm mad.

Symptoms were on and off yesterday, trying not to worry, but i wil embrace these moments whilst I v an.

Theicingontop · 08/03/2013 07:06

I'm feeling flutters also, but considering my baby is the size of a pea I really doubt it was their doing Grin it wasn't 'gas', definitely my uterus. Maybe it's in full stretch mode now?

Huge congratulations griffo, you must be over the moon Smile

Mumma I found the sentence "No, I'm just fat. But thank you ever so much for noticing my weight gain" very effective when I started showing early last time and I didn't want nosy parkers people finding out.

Dizzy81 · 08/03/2013 07:21

Cheers icing - that's what I'm thinking. All the stretching it has to do. I woke up with a dull ache in my right side and now it's the middle of my stomach. Plus the occasional cramping. Should I be worried?

Also is anyone else getting an increase in vaginal discharge?

Fairydogmother · 08/03/2013 07:25

All the weird movements are stretching out of ligaments and the uterus - no baby to move in these yet!

I def have more discharge - kind of whiteish. If you get any itching etc then go see your Gp

Dizzy81 · 08/03/2013 07:39

That's what I'm telling myself its ligaments stretching.

It's not itching, Thankfully. Oh it's going to be a fun 9 months.

Griffomais · 08/03/2013 07:43

Good morning can I ask is anyone taking Vitamin D as well as Folic Acid?

Dizzy81 · 08/03/2013 07:44

I've got pregnancy care vitamins.

Griffomais · 08/03/2013 07:45

Thanks Dizzy so do you think I should ditch the Folic Acid and just take a combined Pregnancy Vit?

getoffthecoffeetable · 08/03/2013 07:47

That's really cool suffolk, well done.

Yes to the discharge, white stuff. Very attractive!
Tummy sounds like a washing machine, actually, my tummy might be louder than the washer!
Nausea is creeping in too, trying to get some food down me because that's the only way for me to combat it, just need to force it down!

Dizzy81 · 08/03/2013 07:51

Griff, It might be best to speak to a pharmacist maybe or your gp for advice?

Suffolk, forgot to say congrats as being chosen as a judge.

Getoff, I can't stop faring or burping. I feel sick and it's made worse by getting up quick or moving around too much.

Fairydogmother · 08/03/2013 08:23

you dont necessarily need a multi-vit - if you take 100mg of Vit D and 400mg of Folic Acid thats grand. (Nearly 100% those quantities are right!)

some people report reactions to lots of pregnancy vits - me included!

I saw calcium and Vit D in a tablet in the pharmacy yesterday. Try and get your vits from food rather than in synthetic form

pegster · 08/03/2013 08:34

Griffomais - I'm taking the Tesco pregnancy multi-vit, really cheap bit got everything in including some iron which I thought might be a good idea as I got anaemic last time

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 08/03/2013 08:43

griff huge congrats

"No, I'm just fat. But thank you ever so much for noticing my weight gain"
theicing Grin that's great, I'm so going to use that.

Well I'm 6+4 weeks and three up today Smile

retroelle · 08/03/2013 09:46

Boots do a combo vitamin d/folic acid tablet which is cheap. I was taking it until I got the BFP, and I've now switched to boots pregnancy multivits as I am mostly vegetarian and probably need the iron.

I am obsessed with vitamin d. Seriously, it's incredibly important for development and for normal health.
