oh yes juniper we've gone from amazing ttc sex to barely wanting it at all. the combo of nausea and extreme tiredness aren't helping. I also pulled some stomach muscles and don't want to make it worse again!! its tough!

Right I have crumbled - after finding out that my booking in appointment isn't until 11+4, and can't book scan until after I've had this I've have booked a private one for tomorrow Blush. I blame all of you lovely ladies who have seen your beans Grin.

And yes Juniper - and feeling quite guilty after being a complete sex pest while TTC, and now the job is done I'm much more interested in my book! I do seem to recall though that sex drive came back in second and third trimester.

iheartcruchiebars We've not had sex for a month now - at first I was too worried, and now I am either worried/spotting/sick or all three. DH seems to be coping :)

I came home from my early scan to find out my next is at 12+1 - six weeks yesterday. God knows how I am going to cope with waiting that long, I might see if I can persuade DH we need a reassurance private scan at 8/9 weeks or so.

Anyway, I feel tired, achey, a bit sick and generally below par. And nothing I can think of to eat sounds nice to me. All good signs I hope. My boobs don't hurt at all though - how about everyone elses?

delilah, snap on all those signs. Although I don't have an appetite, I'm just eating bits nonetheless on the advice of various MN threads, and it seems to work. And OMG the boobs! I thought having tiny non-existent boobs would save me from painful boobage, but that is not the case. I can't sleep on my front anymore. So my little one is the size of a blimmin pea and already it is affecting my sleeping position!

I have a seed mix that I eat when I first feel sick. One mouthful dulls the sickness slightly (pinenuts /pumpkin seeds/sunflower seeds) Just a suggestion in case it helps someone else.

hotsoup I know what you mean although my boobs stayed a size bigger at a 34B after ds used to be a 32A! Now they are really sore and feel massive already Grin.

In terms of ms - with ds I found a digestive biscuit in bed before sleep and when I woke up helped a bit - well tasted good anyway Smile

I'm 27. DC2 is due 15th Oct. DS is 2.5.

Oooh Twins! How lovely Delilah Do twins run in your family?

With regards to symptoms with my last pregnancy it was symptoms galore but this one is totally different. I'm enjoying not being horrendously ill but I do feel a bit less pregnant!

Evening all.

Firstly congratulations to falconsmistress and delilah ... I am so happy for you both!

Those miscarriage statistics have made me feel worse because they only talk about if you see a heartbeat. I'm not going to get a scan until I am at 12 weeks and it freaks me out that what's going on in there may not be viable all this time. Do you think it's silly of me to consider a private scan at 8/9 weeks? Is it worthwhile asking my midwife for her opinion do you think?
