Sunflower welcome back and so sorry to hear your news. You'll be able to claim maternity allowance if you've been paying tax!
Waves hope you're doing ok Thanks

17+3 and sat in the departures lounge. Babymoon ahoy Grin

RuckAndRoll · 22/02/2013 13:14

remembering enjoy your babymoon, we're off on holiday tomorrow too, two weeks Grin

welcome back sunflower, I'm very jelous of those getting to hear their little ones heart beat. My 16 week app isn't until we get back from holiday when I'll be 18 weeks.

Hope those of you feeling unwell are better soon. I've managed a whole 3 days without passing out apart from the minor incident at 4am this morning when going to the bathroom, but we won't mention that!

My boss is really laying it on thick today that me not driving is causing loads of problems and wanting to know exactly when I'll be fit to drive again so he can make work plans. If only it were that simple 'actually yes boss, I can confirm I will be feeling better at precisely 10am on Tuesday' arghhh.

remembering - I am soo jealous, would love a holiday, think the best we're getting this year is a week at mil's in Cornwall... but we did go to Paris for our babymoon before as arrived so can't have it all!

abilee - it will be intersting to see how close your hunches are! I spent most of my pregnancy with as thinking I was carrying a girl, it took me a while to adjust once he was born lol - I will be finding out at 20wk scan this time though - can't wait!

ruck - how annoying of your boss, I'm surprised your 'fortune telling' powers aren't tuned in?!? At the end of the day its not a situation either of you want so he just needs to deal with it.

sunflower - sorry to hear about your job, must be quite stressful, I'm guessing its prob better that you found out now than just after you moved though?

Took DS for his first cinema experience earlier and he loved it (he's 3) - he gets so involved in films, screaming at the scary bits (as scary a Madagascar 3 is) and laughing out loud at the funny bits, he's so cute sometimes :)

remembering and ruck enjoy your holidays, lucky ladies!

I know I will get SMP because I don't officially leave for three more months so it will fall in the 15 week window but its the 90% for 6 weeks is the bit I am unclear of, I don't know if that is also classed as the SMP that they have an obligation to pay. Can't seem to get the answer, even from ACAS. Will see what work say then maybe speak to Solicitor because its a sizeable chunk of money.

As for the house, the issue is that we know we can afford the repayments but its that if the mortgage company do last min checks before releasing the funds (which they are doing more and more) and they find out about the redundancy they will pull the plug and that could be on completion day. I don't think I can live with the stress of will they/won't they between now and then! Bugger :-(

Abilee90 · 22/02/2013 18:41

Muddy i hope my hunches are right lol, would like a boy but i'm bothered eithrt way as long as he or she is healthy i dont care. Dh is the one desperate for a boy lol.

Feel like i'm surrounded by petty people today mostly dh's family, one person in particular :( god knows what i have done to deserve it. Not gonna let it bother me as i just get the hump.

Beckie 21 hours til my scan :D hoping if i get there earlier they will do it earlier lol. I havent bought anything :( i'm waiting. Cant even go for buggy til i know colours.

Sun we are in process of trying to buy, as soon as they ok your mortage your pretty much over the checks. Plus your work cant say your being made redundant. Hope this helps. Also smp you wont get 90% unless its less than the weekly payments. Also checked this :( sorry

Xxx

GaryBuseysTeeth · 22/02/2013 19:19

You ladies can talk! Will be interesting to see what Fred # we're on by the time August rolls around..

Ruck, sorry your boss is being a penis atm, and you're unable to see into your crystal ball. Hmm
Hurrah on having 3 faint free days mostly
Hope you & Remembering have wonderful holidays!

Sunflower, sorry to hear about your job news.

muddy, awww glad DS enjoyed the cinema!

Not much to report here, finally put myself onto the stats list, in maternity clothes (I have a 'fat all over' bump compared to my 'nice neat round bump' I had with DS, according to everyone...so everyone else thinks this is a girl too).
Going out with a friend & DS tomorrow and having a lazy Sunday

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Just cried at a soldiers coming home video and got myself even more upset knowing my little adopted brother is joining up. He growing up to fast and passed his cbt today. Really proud of him.

Xxx

beckie90 · 22/02/2013 20:45

Aww bless your brother abi
16hrs to go now, whooo. Don't think oh is coming, gone seriously down the drain our relationship, I've asked him to move out which he says he will do tomorow, can't take any more of it tbh. He's just started going out all the time (most nights) when he's here he never helps out never gets up through night fully knowing ds2 doesn't sleep, he just goes and gets in single bed leaving me to sleep with the boys, never talks to. Just nags about the things he thinks I don't do. Weve become miserable so I've told him not to bother coming, cause he shows no intrest anyway, so he said ok I won't. Having such a horrible day. My moods n emotions don't Help. Sorry to whinge, just don't know who else to talk to :( xx

LexiLoganberryBump · 22/02/2013 21:01

beckie I'm sorry to hear you and your oh are having problems. Thanks

sun Our mortgage company did last minute checks for a house move and found out I'd handed my notice in because it was a relocation move and no way I could of kept my original job and it did cause us some problems. That was just my experience and obviously different to being made redundant. Have you already pulled out or are you just considering it.

Abilee90 · 22/02/2013 21:06

Beckie have u got facebook? We can pm on that if you want. He sounds like a right a$$ :( hope things get better soon. Have u got anyone going with u?

Abilee90 · 22/02/2013 21:34

Beckie can u pm me first as i dont know how to do it lol blonde :/ xx

muddybloodypuddles · 22/02/2013 21:35

Beckie - sorry he's being so crap, really feel for you, not what you need when you're pregnant - have you thought about relate? I have been to relate (a few years ago now) with DH and it helped get us talking/communicating again.. just a thought x

beckie90 · 22/02/2013 21:40

abi I don't think I can it won't let me click on your name cause your profile is private.

muddy I mentioned going somewere before in the past cause let's just say he's never been good at talking or showing emotions, today he told me he never would either, and I just don't want that kind of relationship.

Oh well lol. Got so much to look forward to, Il get over it xxx

stacey212528 · 22/02/2013 21:54

Sainsburys are selling a pair of 'moisture control' jogging/exercise pants, they're soft cotton, in black & grey, short, regular, long leg sizes 8-20....most importantly of all they have a massive band around the waist which makes them perfect for overbump lounging pants.
They're also on 25% off atm so £8.50!

beckie90 · 23/02/2013 10:05

gary Thankyou :) we have had a chat this morning, he said he doesn't want to split up but he thinks we should have a break and him get a flat. But I think thats just going to make things worse if anything.

abi I'd say boy for you :) eek exciting times xx

stacey212528 · 23/02/2013 12:48

Beckie maybe your right! I think it's a boy but everyone else thinks girl.

Anyone ever bought anything from "The Essential One"? Just bought some stuff. Everything on their site looks lovely!

FoofFighter · 23/02/2013 13:07

becki, so sorry you are having personal problems, everyone thinks pregnancy is this golden time for couples and the sad reality is that it ain't always like that! my OH had a bit of a bastard episode when we first found out but is back on track now I think. it's very hard especially when your emotions and hormones are all over the place from just the pg never mind anything else going on.

abi, my son joined the Army a year ago and it's been the making of him :) so proud of him, he joined a boy and is now a man. he just started in the Household Cavalry after his training.

Good luck for your scans both of you, hope you get to see something (or not!)
