Haha that really made me laugh. This windyness is quite low down. Duno wether I should be worried, I'll ask mw tomorrow. I'm having a really day thinking the worst. I keep thinking if all these ladies that go for 12wk scans to find things stopped at 7/8. I know I shouldn't but I'm so worried.

frog I'm totally paranoid about the same thing...to the point where DH is actually bored of eating me worry about it out loud and has banned me from mentioning it anymore! Can't help it though...guess the worry is here to stay until I've seen proof there's something in there!

I've also had horrible trapped wind yesterday an today...and constant burping too. Man, I'm attractive...

Clearly DH is bored of hearing me, not bored of eating me entirely different fred and defo none of that going on thank you very much!

Haha, no eating in the frog house either. It's making me think twice about the early scan but I still stand by the reasons I didn't want one! Arrrgh. I'm suspicious at every niggle sharp twinge and pain. And there's loads!

I'm scared of a mmc too. Had never heard of it before, but mumnet seems to be full of people who've had them.

I am getting neurotic over ever twinge. My 12 week scan isn't for another month, so I have decided to have an early scan. Having it on Friday. I know things could still go wrong between then (will be 8+5) but at least ill know if 1) it has a heart beat atm and 2) if it's ectopic (endometriosis in family).

I don't know if it'll be worth the £100 but I caved.

I think I'll see what date I get for scan. If its 12 weeks I'll wait, if it turns out to be 13+ I might crack up by then :-/ I'll be 8+5 on fri too juniper!!

I was very lucky with my scan date - it's 2 weeks today, when I'll be 11+5...not too long to wait now

Do we know who is first with a 12 week scan? Mines on the 25th feb when I will be 12+4

I'm still waiting to get a date for my scan, feeling über bloated any tips for constipation? Been eating tonnes of fruit and veg and still no movement!! Grrrr!

Mine feels like ages away - the 8th March! 3 weeks on Friday and will be 13w which apparently is normal for Stockport.

I have my first consultant appt on Tuesday next week though so have that in the meantime.

Hello everyone. I haven't been on for a while as I have been feeling pretty ill.

I have my scan next Fri 22nd and I too am very nervous. I am terrified about the thought of an MMC. My husband also doesn't seem to understand my concerns and I too am neurotic about every twinge!

Who was asking about pokey out uterus? frogchops? I'm quite slim (but little pot belly!) But have noticed really low down (about am inch above pubic bone) a little swelling. It goes all the way across into the crease of my legs and feels firm. It's cool!

Finding energy to get up as my mum will be here in 15 mins!

Thought I should put myself in the correct order...oops!

Could be me Creamtea1 - Tuesday 19th, 12+0.

I have a new symptom that I am seriously not happy about. I think I have the beginnings of SPD - feel like I have been kicked in the fanny-bone. This could be a disaster - I only had it right at the very end with DS, but I was much much fitter at the start of that pregnancy anyway. It seems to come from sitting in an office chair and in the car on the drive to/from work. I need a yoga class evidently.

Oh and something made me laugh yesterday... DH manages a team of three. The staff member he most relies on had to take his wife for an early scan the other day. Yup, we're due a week apart!!! That could be fun for staffing his department in September...

Got my scan on 18th feb, I will be 12+3 then. It's a nuchal and blood results all in one appointment so more terrified than excited!

Someone I know has recently announced they are pregnant, and it's now starting to get under my skin... 'You won't know this, but she will just be so tired bless her. You see, when you're pregnant, you get this feeling that you are exhausted, no amount of sleep will help and you just feel so barfy. It's such a shame. One day you you will know what it's like. But you're still young'... Etc etc etc

Sorry for the rant... Off to eat some pastry...

Batfuttocks how soon after do you find out the results of the nuchal and blood tests? I think I have mine with my scan next week too. Good luck!

My scan's a week today. Have some of us had early scan to know already that they have twins? I'm being thick here!

Having bloodtest and nuchal measurement done too. Should be interesting with ds who hates me being messed with and dh who has a needle phobia. Will have to send them out the room. Poor lambs!

12 week scan is tomorrow at 8:55am! I think I got the nucheal test results in a letter maybe a week after last time.

Too much fat / bloating to see a uterus bulge here, but have a bump of sorts.

Yy to all the ladies struggling with wind.

I actually made myself wretch this morning due to the foul smell which had eminated from my back side

binarysolo yes, me and midwifecrisis had bleeding so had early scans which showed twins.

I'm still mildly obsessed with vanishing twin syndrome and missed miscarriages so am not convinced there will still be two at my scan.

Keeping all my fingers crossed for ALL the babies to still be there at scan time. I had my mum over today for a bit to help with washing up and stuff, and she's brought over a hillarious 70's pregnancy and baby book (St Micheals)

Im getting nervy as I rrally need to tell my boss about pregnancy next week! Just due to certain nights out etc. but my scan.isn't until the 28th. I don't like the idea of telling work before we see the heartbeat is still there. Anyone else having similar issues?
