CB digi threw me into a right stress as I had a similar thing - but the ranges for hcg levels are so broad it really shouldnt be taken as anything more than a guide. I got a 1-2 twice a week apart, then a 2-3 five days later then a 3+ only a couple of days after that. I know it's hard but try not to worry, it's only a guide.

Zeuxippe · 28/01/2013 12:15

Thanks saggy and creamtea.

Unfortunately I now have a little bit of spotting too Confused

Have an appt with my GP tomorrow so will ask then, unless there is more blood

jemimahpuddleduck · 28/01/2013 12:23

Hi Ladies

Haven't posted for a while, was stuck on the sofa under a blanket from Weds to yesterday with MS but have pulled myself together and gone back to work today.

It's actually not as bad as I thought being back just trying to be discrete as don't want anybody at work knowing for a while.

Congratulations to all the new ladies and to midwife with your twins!

Still very limited on foods I'll eat the main ones at the moment are White egg Mayo rolls, walkers ready salted crisps, mars bars, hot cross buns, Tangtastics, grapes and sparkling water. Off to Tesco later to try and find some more things I can face. A little worried about nutrition for the bean! I was so healthy before MS kicked in.

Eeeknumber3 · 28/01/2013 12:23

Oooo loving the ravelry site, how can I learn how to knit again? Used to knit years ago, maybe I can use YouTube or something? Am so sick of this all taking so long, don't remember it being such an arduous thing with first two! On that matter, when are other people telling their other children, mine are 6, 7 in may and 4, 5 in march....

Eeeknumber3 · 28/01/2013 12:24

Oooo yes and congratulations midwife, my sis in law is a non identical twin! Shock

jemimahpuddleduck · 28/01/2013 12:25

Sorry cross posted with Zeuxippe I have my fingers crossed for you x

fl0b0t · 28/01/2013 12:46

jemimah I'm so glad someone else has had to take time off with ms, I was starting to feel rather pathetic! (though sorry you've felt so bad!) I was also heathy pre ms and now eating magnum ice veranda, haribo, ginger beer, chocolate eclairs, crisps, ready meals (!) Gross.

I can't knit and have never wanted to, but I'm currently so incapable of doing the things I love, I'm tempted to try!

MrsMc82 · 28/01/2013 12:48

eeek this is all seeming rather real now........ still fairly convinced am just making it up but keep POAS (got tonnes of cheapy ebay ones not!) and the little line keeps getting darker so must be true!....... Got first Midwife apt booked for tomorrow and a private early scan booked for Fri, when all being well, I'll be 8 weeks.......

jemimahpuddleduck · 28/01/2013 12:56

I'm glad I'm not the only one too flob0t was reading this thread daily and saw how you all were struggling on and I felt a bit of a wuss! Magnums sound nice! I left coco pops off my list they go down nicely too. I just think as soon as I feel better I will go back to my normal eating but at the moment it's better to eat something rather than nothing.

I'm not a knitter either my mum has started a tiny cardigan though so may get her to show me.

Congrats on your BFP MrsMc82

Manoodledo · 28/01/2013 13:03

Woah, I had the most vivid dream last night that the baby was kicking, like it was much bigger, when they're almost up among your ribs. I could feel it so strongly writhing and stretching, like when they seem to be all elbows and knees, I couldn't work out how I could be so far out in my calculations, I was so freaked out, it felt so real. Weird!

Kittenkatzen · 28/01/2013 13:45

Zeuxippe I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you x

frogchops · 28/01/2013 14:25

Zeux....hope everything is ok,how far along are you?

I'm still not on this listSad can someone add me please....bfp jan 15 Edd sep 22nd. Thanks! X

fl0b0t · 28/01/2013 14:30

The magnum was horrible!

andadietcoke · 28/01/2013 15:22

Fx Zeux

I'm a mess at the moment. Ridiculously anxious, to the extent that I'm too scared to go for an early private scan because at the moment I can convince myself everything is okay. Had some more of the watery pale brown discharge at the weekend and it's really freaked me out. Booking in appointment on Wednesday at either 8+1 or 7+6 and I'm terrified. I know she's going to tell me I'm overweight, and my blood pressure will be inevitably high, and all this without knowing everything will be okay. Sorry for the whining. I don't know where it's come from, but I can't shake it off.

badguider · 28/01/2013 15:42

oh dear zeux and dietcoke - so sorry to hear you're both going through such anxious times.

I am feeling very pregnant and trying to be grateful but really I feel like death Sad I have been nauseous every minute of every day for a couple of weeks now, I have a pounding headache with tiredness even though I am sleeping every moment I can (including most of the weekend). I have low bp and a low resting heart rate and I feel half dead - totally freezing cold and so lethargic....

I have to work in London next week for a couple of days, it's going to be seriously tough... no idea HOW i will get through...

fl0b0t · 28/01/2013 15:59

Badguider- If you make it to London for work I will be so impressed. Sounds like we're experiencing similar pregnancies right now, and I've got to travel to the south coast tomorrow and I'm severely doubting whether I'm able. I also have low BP (lowish normally) and heart rate is very very slow......

badguider · 28/01/2013 16:24

I HAVE to make it to London... no question... HAVE TO...
I'm travelling down on the train sunday afternoon but have told everybody i've got plans with friends sunday evening but actually i'm going to hide in my hotel room and sleep.
Monday will be a long day and i might have to invent more 'plans' monday evening so i can get straight to bed at dinner time.. tuesday is another full day then 7pm train home... hoping i can just zonk out on the train... but it's not going to be fun... almost tempted to look at prices of a flight home instead but i think it'll be out of the question.

CrikeeThree · 28/01/2013 16:26

Big sympathy fl0b0t badguider and jemima

I've been in tears at times. I'm so fed up with feeling pukey. Or just puking. I don't know what's worse, the constant nausea or the actual vommiting.

Am struggling through work, but am just doing the minimum.
I'm a teacher, so am making sure lessons are planned, but can't do any marking or anything extra. I just feel so rough in the evenings. I put the 2 DCs to bed, then just collapse and sit there trying to concentrate on not being sick....

And I had double year 11 today (and no free periods). It was awful.

Hope this passes soon....

Readytosettle · 28/01/2013 16:47

I ended up in crying my eyes out with my fingers in my ears in the toilets of a skanky nightclub on Saturday eve (30th birthday)...I just felt so sick! Maybe it's the hormones...but it certainly made hubby leap into action & get me out of there.

My mums top tip is dextrose tablets....easy to carry round & pop one in when you're feeling rough....I've only been trying them for a couple of days but they're not doing too bad a job!

fl0b0t · 28/01/2013 16:55

Oooh thanks Ready, will try those if I can drag myself out the house to the shops!

Zeuxippe · 28/01/2013 16:59

Thanks everyone for your messages of support. The bleeding got heavier so i rang the GP this afternoon. She said I could well be miscarrying and only time will tell. I'm 5 + 5 so not very far along.

She has told me to re-test on Wednesday and if that is positive to test again on Monday next week. If I have a positive test next Monday they will admit me for an early scan that day.

So it's not looking great. I'm going to sign off the thread now. If I get to the scan stage and things look ok I'll come back online then.

Good luck everyone xx

jm233 · 28/01/2013 17:14

Zeux if you get the chance to read this, I think I can say on behalf if everyone we have all our fingers and toes crossed for you!

Over the last few days I've been feeling like I'm constantly full, to the extent of the thought/ smell of any food at all makes me wanna be sick. But then, it's like all of the sudden this bottomless pit opens and starts urgently demanding really random things, like gherkins and marshmallows.... I'm really struggling to eat healthily right now/ cook/ plan any meals. I have high hopes for the vitamin content of my multi vit, otherwise the bean might get scurvy!!!

Cacks81 · 28/01/2013 18:19

Reading your messages has helped me today. I'm a teacher and had a horrid day; however, I've had worse. Yet on my way home from work this evening, I cried the whole way back. Serious sobbing. Normally no matter what nasty things Year 11 say to me, I'm tough as old boots, but today, a 15 year old boy telling me how shit I am at my job (I'd called for him to be removed from my lesson, so clearly deserved the abuse) really got to me. It took everything in me to not burst out in tears there and then.

I really hope I'm not this wet all the way through, only just 6 weeks. Work are going to get seriously hacked off at me if I keep this namby pamby attitude for the next 8 months!

I'm glad I can come on here, DH is being amazing, but looks petrified when he sees me like this at the moment.

(Zeus- fingers crossed. X)
