ooooh new thread! I been a bit behind this week.

I seem to have gotten over my entering the 3rd trimester mental slump now. Physically feeling better & have gone back to worrying time is going too fast rather than being pregnant forever!

Saw consultant this week, there is still white blood cells in urine (3rd time in a row now) but no infection, so he wants me back in 2 weeks. My iron was also pretty low again but that is more poor management on my behalf than a real problem.

I have Glucose tolerance on Friday, going to have to find a good book for that one!

Ratbag I hope your appointment is reassuring, its scary being pregnant really, glad they that fit you in so quickly.

Floss I hope everything is ok with you & keeping eyes out for updates!

Mama glad to see you back & getting cuddles! It was really great of your sister to update us while you were too poorly, I hope you tell her thank you as we would have been out of minds worrying by now!

When do we start raspberry leaf tea stuff btw? Is it soon?

Good luck ratbag I also had this with DD & all was fine.

SneezySnatcher · 15/01/2013 16:55

Good luck Ratbag I had this too.

My consultant appointment wasn't great. Now have +protein so got to go back Friday and have a scan on 29th. I've been given aspirin to start taking.

MumOfTwoCats · 15/01/2013 17:33

Good luck ratbag. Hope all.is well.

I'm home resting as i have a throat infection. I was signed off last week and made it in yesterday and this morning. Such a sore throat! I can't feel too sorry for myself as others have it much worse!

Everyone told me to go home.Luckily its office based so I'm keeping an eye on e-mails on the sofa with my cat.

Hi all

Everything fab, as soon as monitor went on for trace it kicked loads. :)

MumOfTwoCats · 15/01/2013 18:00

Excellent news!

ratbagcatbag · 15/01/2013 18:04

Awe mumoftwocats hope you feel better soon.

I'm going to do some more work on my promotion thing tonight to see if I can at least get version one ready for tomorrow. It takes four weeks min to prep and organise the panel so really need to get moving to get it in and done before I go off on maternity. -2 here now, no heating really is a nightmare. Hope it gets fixed tomorrow.

edinfirst · 15/01/2013 18:08

That's great news ratbag, and it's reassuring to know how quickly they can fit you in if there are any worries-so nice to not have to be scared to phone if there are any concerns.

Thanks for setting up fb group too, will be so nice to put faces to names :)

Hi - first time I have posted on here....27+4 and only starting to really think about the fact i am going to have another baby soonish! so fat nothing sorted!! Have already got 2.5 yr boy. Just looking for some friendly support and share experiences! Is anyone on here thinking of having 3rd trimester private scan?

toobreathless · 15/01/2013 18:52

JoJo Hi! I am also expecting my second, DD is 21 months. Do you know what you're having? I don't think we will have a private 3rd trimester scan, we didn't with DD.

ratbag glad all ok.

KelleStar · 15/01/2013 19:09

ratbagcatbag typical. I remember drinking such ice cold water my teeth were in hell and no movements, but a glass of cold tap water at the MWLU got them moving. But it's best to get it checked out.

hi jojo I'm also on DC2, DD is 2 and a full on bouncing off the walls toddler. I have a third trimester scan coming up in a few weeks to check growth as DD was a small baby that was overdue and I've a slightly overlying placenta. Welcome.

signed up for the FB group.

jojo2509 · 15/01/2013 19:32

thanks too breathless and Kellestar - know that I am having a girl which is lovely! Part of me wants another scan just to be sure before I go and buy a load of pink stuff though!!

Ratbag - I have requested to join your facebook group too! So lovely the support you girls are giving each other. I forgot how stressful and exhausting being pregnant is!

wishfulthinking1 · 15/01/2013 19:50

Phew ratbag so glad everything's ok. No energy to write more now.... It's nearly 8 so I'm off to bed! Night all! Yes yes- everyone who's knackered- I agree with you- never been so exhausted!!!

lutrinae · 15/01/2013 19:55

I've just asked to join the FBI group too.

Anyone else feeling so big and stretched and tight it seems impossible to get any bigger? I swear there's no room left, and baby'll just pop out like Alien!

lutrinae · 15/01/2013 19:56

I meant the FB group of course. I don't want to join the FBI just now.

ratbagcatbag · 15/01/2013 19:57

You're all lovely - thanks for the kind messages, it's so nice to be able to just say what I want and you're all supportive, I only told one RL friend as word gets out otherwise and people are constantly ringing etc, which is fine when everything is fab, but I would imagine awful if not.

I am starting to get tireder (is that a word) a lot earlier now. Going for a day trip to London next weekend, so need to perk up a bit!

Trishstar · 15/01/2013 20:00

Thanks for the fb group xx just asked to join xx

MrsSimkins · 15/01/2013 20:07

Hi All,
wow another group I really can't keep up but just had a quick read through. Well done mama so glad to hear you and Alex are doing well. floss thinking of you, sounds like you're being well looked after though so fingers crossed. ratbag so glad baby was just scaring you. I had a panic last week that I hadn't felt much movement so I had a glass of orange juice and a creme egg (oops) and laid down on my back, a website I looked at said if i do this and get at least 6 kicks in an hour not to worry, I got 6 kicks in about 20mins which totally put my mind at rest.

I feel like everyones been telling me how huge i look lately and that I cant possibly still have 3 months to go and how April is still ages away. Its really getting on my nerves because i'm measuring bang on and 3 months is not time at all!?!

Hope everyones keeping well and getting excited that we'll soon be hearing about more lovely babies like Mamas from this thread!

Can also relate to tiredness. Have 6 hours of driving over next two days for work as well. No wonder BP was up at 28 week appointment yesterday!

Hey all, Been a while since posted bug so glad to hear great news about mama and Alexander, also floss fingers crossed all goes well for you and 29 weeks is a good stage to be at. I had a small drama last week and got smashed in the back of my car and seat belt went in with some force to my bump. Baby was monitored on ctg machine for a while and had to go back Saturday for more monitoring but baby was all happy and moving around. Like the midwife said baby is very well cushioned inside but still was worrying obviously! Had 28 week appt today and baby is head down and measuring spot on for due date which is good. Off to join the fb group now which is a great idea!

miarosemum · 15/01/2013 21:07
