foof sorry stupid predictive phone xx

MrsPennyapple · 04/02/2013 22:55

MrsWajs I've got spots too, I haven't weighed myself in a week or so but last time I did I'd already put on 6lb, so it's likely to have increased since then. But I have eaten a fair bit of cake, to be fair.

Foof Your baby mooned you! Ace Grin Hope the gas is back on soon. Do you have some other method of heating?

Lexi I had my flu jab well before 12 weeks, they said I could have it any time, I think I was 7-8 wks.

StopSitting My GP said the whooping cough vaccine should be at around 28 weeks I think.

Abilee I had totally forgotten that runny eggs were banned. I've eaten at least three this week. (They were lovely. I shall likely eat more, given that DP and I both bought eggs not realising the other had got some.)

So, I think I felt a fidget this afternoon, and I suspect I have felt some before now too. It's just that when I had the scan (one week ago exactly) DP asked if I could feel it when baby was jumping around, and the sonographer interrupted and said "Oh it's FAR too early for that yet" so I assumed it was gas bubbling around.

ScubaSarah · 05/02/2013 07:45

Foof great scan pic and a really goo demo of how fast they grow compared to your last scan!

Lexi I found bamboo soft tights in Boots are stretchy enough. Not cheap but should last longer than maternity ones - hoping not to need them after I get back from holiday... [excited]

stopsitting I've also not yet had flu jab, there werent any available before Xmas and ive been lazy since Hmm
I think the Whooping cough is after 28 weeks so the little one gets the immunity for the first 6 months...

I'm certainly showing though I've only gained 3kg. I bloat in the afternoon but there's a definite bump even in the morning. I'm 15weeks today Shock when did that happen??

Have a great day everyone x

FoofFighter · 05/02/2013 08:13

Gas came back on after about an hour, but we still went out for a curry anyway Wink
13 weeks today :)

Abilee90 · 05/02/2013 08:21

I'm not showing at all :( also still havent gained any weight, i've lost it if anything. I want a bump. A member of our family had her baby 3 days ago. There is 4 new babys in the family this year. I'm the last. So 1 down 3 to go.

Feeling shattered, getting annoyed with all these different cravings and this kidney infection.

Just to let you know all moody mummys, you will more likely be having girls. With dd i was so hormonal. I aint this time.

14 weeks today 26 to go :)
Xxx

LittleMissSnowShine · 05/02/2013 08:25

Oh we are covered in snow here!! Fed up with that, going to give the poor little flowers thatwere just poking thru a case of frostbite!

Speaking of cravings - pancakes were a major craving with DS nom nom nom. This time the nausea has put me off eating meat so sometimes i take a real craving for a steak and chips or battered chicken satay from Chinese!! Havent actually attempted to eat either tho, not much appetite and im still really miserable with nausea even dosed up on prescription meds so cravings are being ignored in favour of easier things to eat. Like toast! Yummy lol

mayan / stopsitting - i had a (meat free!) Dominos on fri night tho and it was delish!

Jollymummy2 · 05/02/2013 08:35

Good morning.
Well I am still struggling with my mood. I suffered with PND after last LO so DH is really worried that the hormonal change could kick it off again. Midwife was great at booking app and said she is there for me, even if it is just to talk about how I'm feeling.
Think I will chat to her about my moods when I see her in a couple of weeks.
As for cravings.....still eating tons of tinned potatoes and melted cheese!! And can't face bread, or mash or "squishy" foods. It's a real textures thing with this pregnancy.
Good luck to those with snow!

Hi everyone. Still a resident of vom-ville and feeling utterly terrible. Trying to get a GP appt to see if different anti emetics will help. I've lost 3kg so far, despite my boobs having grown loads Confused I really, really hope to get the endless vomiting under control as worried about ending up back in hospital.

Next Monday I have a booking in with the obstetrician, and next Wednesday is the 16 week appointment with the midwife. Next thing after that will be the 20 week scan I guess....

No snow here, but we only get it about every 3 years at the most!

15 weeks today

beckie90 · 05/02/2013 09:40

abi I lost 1.5st with ds2 in first trimester I looked horrible and skeletal, I didn't show till 35wk, but when my bump come boy did it come lol, sure you will get a little one soon :) . I don't think I'm so much as showing yet but I seem to get very bloated easy by the end of the day I'm all bloated and look massive, in mornings I'm back to flat. I lost 5ib this preg and at my scan I'd put 0.3kg of it back on. I'm opposite I don't want q bump just yet, cause not many people know I'm pregnant.

:o I'm moody all the time abi and emotional, I'm so snappy at everyone and everything winds me up. I wasn't like this with my ds's just towards the last week of them got a little bit teary.

Now I want eggs cause of the egg talk lol

That wasn't meant to be a grin it was meant to be Shock x

beckie90 · 05/02/2013 09:44

waves hope you get better soon Thanks x

Abilee90 · 05/02/2013 09:53

Becki i reckon from your scan its a girl lol. My mr is praying for a boy, we are going for gender scan on 23rd of feb. i told my mr he brings the x or y so if we have another girl, it was down to him lol.

I was so snappy with dd, i was horrible lol. This time i'm so chilled out.
Xxx

LexiLoganberryBump · 05/02/2013 10:33

waves hope you manage to get your meds changed and feel better soon.

Can't remember who it was that asked but my DH thinks we're having a boy, I did too, all the dreams I'd had were boy orinintated until the last one which was a girl and this pregnancy has been so different to the last one with dd although that doesn't really hold much water with me.
Logically it seems that teabag would be a boy because of when we dtd I should of ovulated the day before but it's very possible of course that I ovulated late.
The men in DH family do seem to produce alot of girls and hardly any boys though.

beckie90 · 05/02/2013 11:10

abi mines on the 23rd too :) at 1pm. I've been comparing my scan piks Haha the boys scans look different to this one but im still thinking boy. Be very very shocked with girl, OH family still waiting for a girl Haha, he's the youngest of 4 boys.

I was chilled with the boys, but then I know someone other way round, moody and emotional with her 2 boys, and she said with her girl shes a lot less moody. So wish I was chilled this time I'm getting way too stressed with things. A fine example is of Yesturday a neighbour knocked on door for OH, as he's starting to do a lot lately every other day, always when oh is not in (keeps asking OH to go to gym) but oh works 12hrs a day, so hasn't got time. And for some reason after closing door I felt really wound up about it lol, and txt oh having a rant about it and he was like ok chill woman, think he's sick of me going on xxx

RugBugs · 05/02/2013 12:22

Waves I hope you can wave goodbye to vom-ville soon, I think you are doing so very well.

Thanks and a wide berth Grin to all of you with murderous thoughts!

I had to have meat samosas from a particular curry house on Sunday but that has been my only craving so far, funny enough DP was happy to oblige that one!

I keep thinking 'girl' in my head but like Lexi a boy is more probable if all that male sperm swim faster but die quicker thing is true.

MrsWaj I noticed my pants refusing to stay put yesterday, they are rolling down at the front so either bump or time for new pants!

My other baby purchase arrived today Grin I know it's so very early but I found the carrycot for our buggy brand new for half price (buggy is now a 'legacy' model so it's getting harder to find new accessories).

It has already been claimed by the cats Hmm

Was anyone else kept awake with the weather last night? Poor little DD was terrified and spent the night in our bed wrapped around me. We have a fireplace in our bedroom and the hail was making such a terrific noise. Of course the cats were going crazy too, howling and tearing around the place... cats and DD asleep now though!

RememberingMyPFEs · 05/02/2013 13:49

Just a quick note to let you guys know I've NC'ed - Was ScubaSarah but I wanted a way of reminding myself to do my PFE's and thought this was a good idea :-) (hope it might help some of you too?)

waves hope you get some relief on both counts soon Thanks

Abilee90 · 05/02/2013 14:26

Mine is at 2:20 on 23rd cant wait :D what company did u go with and how much did it cost? If you dont mind me asking :)

Waves feel better soon hun

beckie90 · 05/02/2013 14:46

Mines called babyview, I was going with babybond but changed my mind cause I had babyview with my oldest son and was nice plus was cheaper, its 50 pound. I know me either can't wait to see him/her again, although don't think were finding out now, oh said he doesn't want to, but still keeping the scan cause may aswell as oh didnt get to see 12wk scan and neither will he get to see 20wk 1 xxx

Abilee90 · 05/02/2013 14:55

Ah i see hun. I gone with babybond, cheapest in my area :)
My oh cant wait he is counting down the day. I just hope he isnt gutted if we have another girl :(

Xxx

LittleMissSnowShine · 05/02/2013 15:22

waves - still in Vomville with you :( we'll get thru it, surely we'll get past it soon!

beckie90 · 05/02/2013 15:39

Yea I don't think the babyview is a big company, they may only just have the 1 here. When I was having ds2 and we found out the sex I was fine doesn't bother me but oh was abit gutted he wanted a girl, however when he was born he instantly fell in love with him, there the best of friends now and so alike, so don't worry about your oh he will be fine :) xxx

MrsPennyapple · 05/02/2013 15:39

Hi everyone,

Got the results of Downs screening today, risk is 1:2200, no further action necessary, so I'm happy about that. I'm not sure if I've got a bump yet or just a cake-bulge.

Love the new name, Remembering, I keep remembering to do mine too, and then doing a couple and getting distracted. Now I'll think of you whenever I do them! Grin

Bejeena · 05/02/2013 15:46

Hello ladies!

Can I add myself to the group? I am 12 weeks today and due on 20th August.

Still waiting for the sickness to pass!

FoofFighter · 05/02/2013 16:14

Welcome Bejeena :) (thought you had already posted in here hadn't you? or maybe just seen you on the pregnancy board Blush )

Hugs for the vomville residents Sad can't imagine still suffering with MS

I was in New Look today and they have a sale on, including some maternity bits, so I bought these chinos for when the weather gets warmer, further reduced to £3 at till Grin
this tunic top/dress but it's black and grey stripes, was further reduced to £7 at till, it really looks smart on and a pack of non sale bump bands but I think they'll go back as the m/l I felt wouldn't last till I actually had a bump Hmm am a size 18 so not hugely mahoosive either...
