Briemonster look at you wrecking our nice tidy thread! hope you're ok? Yes I have my scan tomorrow, fingers crossed it'll be ok, I suspect we'll have both kids with us because my eldest has had a temperature this evening, so mummy will have to be ok regardless of the news! The kids don't know yet, we'll tell them after the scan I guess, assuming it's all ok.

Bzzzbee So sorry to hear your news, it's so unfair. The ttc after mc thread on the conception board is a good place to hide out while you're getting over it. I hope you have lots of rl support, and you can rest after the erpc, mc can leave you quite run down so look after yourself, you will feel better soon, even though it doesn't seem possible right now. x

bzzbee I'm so so sorry to hear your news, I hope you got your candle lit at home. Lots of un-mumsnetty hugs to help you through the next days/weeks. Take care of yourself xx

Brie congratulations on your scan results, and a bonus scan as well!!

I had a completely weird dream last night - dreamed I had told everyone I was pg, but then went to the scan and there was nothing there and all the sonographers and doctors were laughing at me - it was awful! I actually did another pg test this morning, just to check that I really was pg. I hope that one isn't a recurring dream.

Whoever mentioned cravings - I have a very strong love of anything cheesy/dairy at the moment - mini cheddars, chunks of cheddar, glasses of milk, and anything salty. I could eat packets of McCoys Salt and Vinegar crisps atm, and I don't usually eat crisps. Totally weird.

foo - A friend of mine is an obstetrician and she told me that when drs and midwives are pg they sneak in to scan themselves ALLLLLL the flipping time! So I'm going to go out on a limb and guess there mustn't be any solid medical evidence that lots of scanning does the baby any harm. Glad mw was able to clarify why they have put you on red path and you feel more informed about things - I'm low risk but I'm considering asking for elective c section this time and I know it will involve consultants and (in my local hospital!) a psych assessment and it almost puts me off the whole thing!!

Cravings-wise, I am having weird and very specific things that last for a couple of days and then after those few days are over the food I was craving so much disgusts me! One was M&S chocolate muesli, ate that for days in a row, now can't look at it. Another is fruit salad and custard. Weird stuff!

PS) Anyone else just had a little wibble over One Born Every Minute this evening? I don't usually watch but that last couple who had been in the car accident.

Still not getting cravings as such but am really enjoying juicy fruits. I was watching OBEM, I swear if my MW are as annoying as those I shall walk out!

OBEM got me again tonight. Felt really sad for Sascha too! Two gorgeous babies and a strong message to stick to birth plans and avoid intervention if possible IMHO

james and briarossy good luck with your scans today- I have mine tomorrow (12 weeks today!) and am counting the hours. Though have a 14 hour day of work today and have woken up with a headache so think it may be a long time coming...

littlemiss I'm also having cravings that just last a few days. The other week it was sausage rolls! I never eat sausage rolls.

Has anyone got this horrible congestion / blocked sinuses thing? I seem to have had it for the last week and am consequently getting headaches and migraines pretty much every day - driving me up the wall. I don't think I can use Vicks nasal sprays or anything like that - so has anyone found anything that works that we are allowed to use??

Eggy - That's funny, I woke up this morning also having a sausage roll craving and like you I wouldn't usually be a fan lol I thought because I've been so flipping nauseated that I might get away with skipping a few other symptoms but had a blinding migraine yesterday and my nose is a bit stuffed up. I don't think there's really anything you can take unfortunately, even stuff like Olbas oil isn't recommended when you're pregnant. scuba - hee! I go crazy when DS tries to speak to me when I'm sleeping or trying to get to sleep, like you i find it really tough to get back over to sleep again while he's merrily snoring away 30 seconds later. Gah!

Good luck to the peeps getting scanned today! Seems a lot of peoples dates are being moved forward? Just watch mine will be the one to be shifted a week back - I can almost guarantee it!!

Thanks everyone for your congratulations :) MrsPennyApple We are planning to have a May wedding too but in 2015. Definitely not whilst pg! The scales are still saying I've only put on a few pounds but I feel massive!! Probably a something to do with eating like a horse now that the nausea has improved a lot, I seem to have a few good days and then an off day and nausea usually worst in the evening but on the whole much more manageable. Hope that's not a bad sign either
