Hi All
Betsy - I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I hope they sort out a good treatment plan for him and that you can keep being so positive.
Cuppa - Congrats on the move. Is it a whole new area or a new place in your same town? If its a new area then late pregnancy/early baby days is such a great time to meet new people and make new friends.
Maybe - Sorry you are so tired. When could you start maternity? I'm starting to feel detached from work whereas normally it really absorbs me. I got this last time too, suddenly my mind switches to a home and family focus and I find it very hard to motivate myself to work. I will struggle on to at least mid-April though.
NG - did you have the full or mini glucose test? I'm having the full next week which I'm dreading as its three hours of repeatedly drinking lucizade and having your blood taken. The midwife said I don't even fulfil the NICE criteria for the full test but because the consultant had ordered it she said I'd better go through with it, I'll kill him if he ordered the wrong test. On another subject did I read right that you cannot let your DD run in your own house due to hard floors???? That's a nightmare! I thinknid be tempted to let her run and learn, I mean they run on hard pavements and stuff.
Scooby - only a few more days before the big move! Have you ordered lots of lovely new stuff?
Sea - any news on the cardiac results? I hope all is well.
10 - have you reached the magic 28 weeks yet? You must be close. When do you get another scan to check growth?
All OK here. Baby v active. I was talking in a meeting at work yet and my bump kept visibly shuddering with the kicks, I was quite embarrassed but hope nobody noticed. I'm feeling a bit achy round the hips but our maternity physio has an EIGHT week waiting list, I've been referred but it feels like it will be pointless in 8 weeks. I think that's a shocking wait for a maternity service. Sadly I can see quite a few signs of a deterioration in the NHS since my last pregnancy.
