sunshine good to be here, thanks. Don't worry about the swordfish I'm sure it would have been find even if you didn't hurl it all back up.

mrsbri enjoy the well deserved glass of wine.

littlemiss ok ok. I'm not going to do any more tests for a little while. I've still not missed my period. It's due tomorrow (13dpo). I've not even missed a period but I've know about this pregnancy since Wed, that's just insane.

Do any of you remember getting cramps when pregnant. My back has been aching on and off since Thurs.

Kittenkatzen · 18/02/2013 10:22

Morning all :)

when I'm 10+4 now and have had cramping on and off since the beginning - they kind of felt almost like AF cramps, but slightly different (although I couldn't really tell how how exactly Confused). Sometimes they were really quite ouchy too, so you're definitely not alone in the cramp department! You'll be pleased to know they seem to be easing up now - haven't really noticed any over the last week or so.

LittleMissSnowShine · 18/02/2013 15:51

Hello all :)

sunshine - sorry you had a fish panic! when i had HG when I was pg with DS one of the few foods I liked once the nausea stopped was peanut butter and i was eating it for weeks before discovering that in 2010 peanut butter was on the banned list!! not any more apparently tho

when - i take it AF didn't show yesterday then? Did you a digi yet? Congrats again btw!!!

mrsbri - the meds i'm taking for nausea don't mix with alcohol so i had about a quarter of a glass of lovely rose on valentines day and it didn't go down too well Confused nightmare!!

kitty - mmm scallops!

ted - aww glad the water park was good, even without the slides!!

On flipping amoxicillin now for chest infection - it's just been a real run of bad luck but slowly starting to feel better...just in time for my birthday tomorrow!! We're going to Kilkenny in the morning, looking forward to it :) And everyone in work just did cake and presents with me too. Aww!

Happy birthday in advance, Littlemiss :-) I hope you feel much better by then. You're really taking a beating with your health, aren't you? :-(

I was naughty yesterday and had medium rare steak...didn't mean to, but it failed to cook as it should have done. Never mind. It was ace :-)

I'm exhausted after the move, so glad I decided to have tomorrow off too. The house is awesome though, so worth it.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/02/2013 18:28

Hi kitten thanks for reassuring me re cramps. They seem to have gone now, I had a tiny bit of brown spotting yesterday but it went away very quickly.

littlemiss oh my word you have been beyond sick. Poor you, hope the second half of your pregnancy is uneventful.

mrsbri glad you like the house. Lots of time to get it ready for the baby.

I'm planning on doing a digi tomorrow (4 wks 1) praying a get a 2-3 weeks result on it. Have peed on an opk today and it was very positive.

LittleMissSnowShine · 18/02/2013 19:32

Thanks mrsbri, just pottering about here packing a bag...and one for DS to stay with his grandparents too Grin hope you enjoyed your medium rare steak, i hate pregnancy safe well done beef eeyeeeuucck!! first proper meal post-DS was medium rare steak and blue cheese nom nom

when - well good luck for tomorrow then! I had a lot of spotting in weeks 6&7 Confused it seemed to be just slightly delayed implantation bleeding but any cramping / spotting is pretty stressful. I'm sure it's just your bean embedding in for the full 40 week stretch inside tho!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 19/02/2013 07:06

And the digi says 2-3 weeks pregnant Grin

kittykatsforever · 19/02/2013 07:24

Yeay for 2-3wks, that must really relieve you for today atleast Wink it's a great sign and as little miss says spotting is quite common now, I had it too and I think you did with dd didn't you?
Glad your in the house mrs bri! I had a medium fillet steak the other wk, my dad cooked it and tried his best to make it more cooked for me but it was still really pink, I didn't like to critisize after he'd tried really hard so just ate it lol I must admit though I do alot I'm not surposed to like hot baths etc, I try to be generally good but how can you have a tepid bath in winter??
Hope you had a great day ted and hope you have a fab bday little miss
Can't believe your almost 11wks kitten I think that's gone so quick I'm sure you won't agree have you got a scan date yet? I'd allready paid at this point Blush ( oh and I peed on opk's too when lol)

MrsBri · 19/02/2013 07:36

Fantastic, when :-) So pleased for you.

I had a not too hot bath on Saturday night, kitty...couldn't stay in long as it lost its temperature so quickly. DH was nagging about how hot I was having it though :-/

Baby B is currently doing god knows what and sliding / kicking around. He's not normally moving much at this time of day, so his body clock must be altering or something.

And I agree, kitten, your pregnancy is going fast. For us! People always say that to you though. :-)

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 07:44

Happy birthday littlemiss Thanks

Hurrah for the 2-3wks digi when Smile are you feeling any more relaxed for now?

I can't believe I'm almost 11wks either! Some days it feels like its flown and others it feels like 12wks will never come. Scan is a week today at 11+5, I feel really lucky as a lot of ladies on my sept thread are having to wait till 13+ Shock. We figured there was no point paying as nothing is going to stop me scaring myself with horror stories of mmc either way!

All your talk of steak is making me jealous, but I'm a steak snob and only like really decent cuts of fillet steak cooked rare. And steak tartare. So am skipping it for the duration and will treat myself in September Grin

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 07:47

mrsbri you're an early riser like me aren't you? I wonder if baby b is picking up on the lighter mornings?

MrsBri · 19/02/2013 07:56

Normally I am, kitten, but I'm off work til tomorrow so was snuggled under the duvet! Maybe that's why I got kicked...baby wants to know what I'm up to still in bed!

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 07:58

Haha your early morning wake up call Grin

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 08:00

Ooh, and slightly off topic but did you watch the war child concert last night? I've not had a chance yet...

MrsBri · 19/02/2013 08:21

No...thanks to Orange being shit we have no broadband yet. I'm ringing to bollock them later!

LittleMissSnowShine · 19/02/2013 08:27

Hurray when!!!

I've gone right pff baths in.this pg prob the heat is lowering my.blood pressure or triggering nausea - usually love a good wallow but quick hot shower is my.limit at the min!

Right im off, back tomorrow evening, happy tues all xx

Ooooh kitten rare fillet steak with peppercorn sauce is my favourite. On my list for when baby comes out, along with smoked salmon and runny eggs for breakfast, blue cheese and mussels

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 10:21

haha sunshine I've already given dh instructions that there is to be waiting for me on return from hospital a rare steak with peppercorn sauce, a slab of chicken liver pate, 12 eggs that I will be eating lightly poached on toast, a chilled bottle of champagne and the biggest cheeseboard known to man consisting of gorgonzola, creamy goats cheese and every soft, ozzy, stinky rinded french cheese ever invented :o

Then I shall go on a diet if i've not gorged myself to actual death

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 10:22

ps....smoked salmon is definitely on the "ok to eat" list - the smoking kills the nasties apparently :)

Kittenkatzen · 19/02/2013 10:23

and I meant oozy, not ozzy....definitely don't want Ozzy on my cheeseboard Confused

kittykatsforever · 19/02/2013 17:50

Ha ha I was going to say smoked salmon is ok too, I think I'm pretty lucky with food as don't like cheese or pâté ( I know you'll think I'm strange) like my steaks m/ well done anyway and scallops are ok as long as well cooked which we did

kittykatsforever · 19/02/2013 17:54

Don't know what that strange word is but should be pate!
The only thing I think on my banned list us runny eggs which I like but can live without and mr wippy of which I have had one but again Untill it's summer not too bothered, I won't pretend I don't miss alcohol though and leftovers get zapped piping hot and eaten think that ones aload of rubish save the rice

SunshineOutdoors · 19/02/2013 19:45

Thank you! Watch out smoked salmon, cream cheese and black olive bagels, here I come!

SunshineOutdoors · 19/02/2013 19:48

kitten I'm loving the sound of your feast. I'll join you on the cheeseboard, accompanied by lots of different wines to try. (Ok, I might have to wait until I've stopped bf for that, and when I'm happy for lo to spend the night at grandma and granddad's!) Big wine and cheese night in 2014 for me then!

SunshineOutdoors · 19/02/2013 19:51

And happy birthday littlemiss

How's your sickness now? I hope ok. I've actually turned a corner this week and fingers crossed think I might be over it. I really hope the same goes for you. 16 weeks has been a real milestone in this respect in both my pregnancies.
