New thread as the other one is nearly full Xmas Shock!

Our next baby should be pmgkt's, but I won't if any little cheeky monkey will sneak in before Thursday?

Bunny222 · 06/01/2013 23:30

Congrats boutique!

Fingers crossed for the rest, myself included, to get underway soon. All the couples at my NCT have popped now, feel like im lagging behind!

Lora1982 · 06/01/2013 23:52

BuntyCollocks · 07/01/2013 02:34

Congrats, boutique! What lovely names everyone has given their babies :)

kim222 · 07/01/2013 04:39

Hi! Just to say my little lady was born on 5th Jan weighing 4lb 11, she's so tiny! Currently on special baby ward due to size and hole in the roof of her mouth but she is doing so well! Had the induce tablet twice on Friday then contractions started, needed to have waters broken, had an epidural (amazing!!) but in the end had to have emergency csection as Penny's heartbeat dropped and didn't recover, all now though and all the nurses and doctors have been amazing x

Hormonalhell · 07/01/2013 07:23

Awww congrats Kim, my DD was 4lb 11oz too but she was 5 weeks early. She's as tall as me now!!!

Sounds like the birth was eventful Grin

allchik · 07/01/2013 07:34

Oh wow! More beautiful babies,congratulations...lovely to come on here and read all the good news!

Im wondering if perhaps sumit may be happening with me,in the last hr ive had 3 periods of crampy pain, very, very mild but with a def start, peak n finish...been for a huge poo so def not wind! But cud be me reading into things...
Got MW at 11 so maybe she will be able to check my cervix?? Thats if im still having random twinges.

On another note SO happy that im not getting ready for school right now!! X

salt1 · 07/01/2013 08:59

huge congrats to boutique and kim - very well done xx

Pascha · 07/01/2013 09:52

More babies Grin! well done Boutique and Kim congratulations. Boutique your boy is a whole pound heavier than mine, I wonder how they compare size wise? Daniel weighs a few oz less than his brother but is wearing bigger clothes than he did as he's longer and skinnier. Worked out today that we have only a very few grows as Seb grew right through and missed out this size Confused

Kim my nephews both have repaired clefts. Hope it's straightforward for her.

Pascha · 07/01/2013 10:07

I am back home as of yesterday lunchtime. It was me on the drip -Syntocinon for persistent bleeding after the birth. I dropped a fist-sized clot in the shower about an hour after birth and came over all woozy, that combined with the highish blood loss in the pool at the very end got me a blue light ambulance, a frankly brutal vaginal exam to remove the last pieces (I hit the ceiling in pain, far worse than labour) and a night on a trolley in a dismal labour ward but it's done now and I feel ok.

Oh and by the way, the midwife knew I'd eaten chilli the night before because undigested kidney beans float in the pool...

happyhow · 07/01/2013 10:51

Congratulations Kim and glad you're now home and settling in Pascha.

I'm going to my midwife tomorrow to have a sweep and get a date for induction if it's needed. On a selfish note, I'm kinda hoping baby will stay in place til after Friday - have tickets for Gary Barlow and I'm going to be gutted if I miss him!!

lollipoppi · 07/01/2013 11:42

Congratulations on all the new arrivals!!!

godzookey · 07/01/2013 12:12

MANY congratulations Ladies on all the lovely news!!

I've been incommunicado - no dramatic reason but our router broke and Sky has just delivered the new one so just catching up now

I've just come back from MW appt - am 39 weeks today and apparently have thrush (TMI - lovely but apparently quite common in pregnancy - never had it before!) so off to stock up on canesten - hmm nice

Anyway, congrats again to everyone who's had their babies

xxxxx

ChutesTooNarrow · 07/01/2013 12:49

It is really lovely that every time I come back to this thread more babies are here! Welcome to all the new arrivals. boutique Gabriel is an absolutely awesome name - I'm completly biased as it is also my son's name Grin

I'm also 39 weeks today, we must be due date buddies godzookey, not an awful lot is happening although I am losing my mucus plug in vast quantities so that is spurring me on to get the house ready.

Lostbobbles · 07/01/2013 13:20

More lovely news, congrats Boutique and Kim.

Kim wishing Penny well and hope she is able to be home with you soon.

Pascha good to hear you are home and well

Wishfulmakeupping · 07/01/2013 13:26

Hi all and congrats to those who's babies have arrived.
I was I. The other thread but have nc since then- I'm due on 30th jan- anyone else due same time?

salt1 · 07/01/2013 13:52

i am due 27th wishful

bealos · 07/01/2013 13:55

godz thrush is not the nicest... usually I'd neck one of those expensive-but-they-work canesten capsules, but I reckon not good in pregnancy, so lovely canesten cream it is for you, I guess! Live yoghurt is supposed to be good though! Both eaten and on / in your nether regions. Could be hard to navigate that one though, not being able to see down there anymore!

Wishfulmakeupping · 07/01/2013 14:24

Not lIng left now salt Ive still got tons to get done before little one arrives

salt1 · 07/01/2013 15:02

i know wishful still loads to be done. i am finishing washing clothes today, started my hospital bag but can't fit everything in so might have to take a small suitcase, i have been for weekends away with less stuff than i am going into hospital with, even more ridiculous when considering it is a 10 min drive from my house and we live in london by loads of shops!!!

godzookey · 07/01/2013 15:28

love that Chilli story Grin

chutes - sounds like you're progressing more than me, literally i'm feeling nada, not a thing, had some periody type cramps for a bit yesterday but then just bounced around on my ball for a bit and they stopped!

bealos - you're right, i've literally just bought some cream and am getting DH to apply - it's his birthday today - happy birthday to him haha! He has actually had no presents from me as i can't be doing with waddling around the shops and being offline at home until today, i also couldn't be arsed to find somewhere with free wifi to go and order him something, so this is as good as it gets for him haha!!

Hormonalhell · 07/01/2013 15:38

Just had some really sad news, my son's teacher who left at Xmas to have her baby and was due around same time as me - her baby has died at only 3 days old Sad she is such a lovely young woman and cannot imagine what she's going through.

My son is worried about his little brother now.

How fragile life is Sad

MamaMary · 07/01/2013 16:53

Congratulations Boutique and Kim. Beautiful names.

Pascha, what an ordeal with the bleeding. Hope you're ok - look after yourself.

Hormonal, that is just awful... Do you know what happened? How dreadful :(
