Oh and sympathies salt with the carpal tunnel. My right hand has been numb and clumsy for three weeks now!

Currently waiting in maternity triage. I lost a load of fluid yesterday when I blew my nose - enough to soak my clothes and run down my legs. I don't think it was wee as I've never had any stress incontinence before but couldn't be sure. Haven't had anything since but feeling sick and have an upset tummy. When I called triage yesterday they said to come in this morning. They are 'very busy' and there will be 'some delay' in seeing me. I'm a bit worried that it won't be possible to determine if it was my waters or not and I'll end up bring induced tomorrow.

Hope everything goes ok Spring...

I've been discharged so I'm going to be doing everything I can now to get baby out!

Still waiting for a decision from a doctor. As I suspected you can't tell if it was my waters or not so someone has to make a judgement based on what I've said. If they think it could have been water I'll be induced tomorrow. The baby is back to back at the moment so I'll need to spend the rest of the day on all fours!

Just wanted to say hello - was due 02/01 so now am playing the waiting game. Oscillating between periods of calm it-will-happen-when-the-baby-is-ready mentality and driving myself crazy wondering if it will be soon. Had a few twinges and some cramping plus increasing pressure in back of pelvis but nothing significant.

Hey spring hope the waiting game isn't too long for you... can't they test the, er, dribble in your sanitary towel? Aren't your waters a different pH to wee?! I guess it might be hard to tell if nothing is coming out now. How frustrating for you!

Spring this happened to me twice!! Thought my waters had gone when I stood up both times n the water went down my leg and onto the floor in a small puddle, was convinced it was my waters but upon going to hosp apparently was just discharge which can happen at this stage I thought discharge thicker but apparently not

Wasn't given a sweep not happy at all. Blood pressure high so gotta be checked regular up to birth now as could be pre-eclampsia. Fed up of trailing down to hosp now tho

Oh spring what a pain,sounds gross but cud u tell by the smell by now if it was wee? On OBEM they did a vaginal exam n could tell that way,on MWs advice im wearing a thick pad every
day now so that can be tested for any leakage. Hope u get seen soon x

Due date for me tomorrow but dnt think bub will be here,just had a 2hr walk around town,was productive n bought sum nursing bras (so rank,i miss normal bras) n a changing mat! Now sat having a foot spa n watching old skool CITV raggy dolls,count duckulla etc...so funny! X

Im in such a foul mood. My boyfriend put the xmas decs away a week ago but missed four so i asked him to put them in the loft he said in a minute. That minute turned into said week and i flipped hes gone bed yes at 4pm so i grabbed the ladders and dragged my overdue arse up the loft. He had a go at me for being arsey so i made a point of his lazyness. Hes not pregnant just a lazy fuk. And dont get me started on the clothes washing.

Spring poor you but i remember you saying yours tend to be early so hopefully this is the start. Its the waiting and not knowing thats a nightmare!

Ivy seems ok, lost a couple of ounces but she is so tiny my boobs are huge for her so now messibg about with expressor! Still a bit yellow but mw out tomorrow and hoping it will start to clear, don't think my nerves can take another trip to hospital!

Glad to hear of the many safe arrivals so far. Megan came home from hospital the week before christmas and has been doing really well. She's now around 5lb and seems really big to us! Good luck to those of you still to pop!

I worried too Apple when DD had jaundice cos she was tiny too. DS looked like David Dickinson he was that yellowy hope MW says its going when she comes

Lora the little things bug me too, my anger aimed at my lazy DD (13) as DP don't live with me, they just don't realise just how hard it is for us heavily preg women just to stand from sitting at mo!! she won't even make me a cup of tea

Hormonal i feel your pain on the tea front!! Its like getting blood from a stone. He used to be so good but he seems to have given up helping :-(

Hey all!

Just a quickie to say Daniel Fergus 7lb2oz was born in the pool at home after a 2.5 hour labour at 2.34pm today. Currently on a drip in hospital overnight due to some bleeding issues. All fine will update tomorrow.

I'm being induced on Thursday so beginning to get v scared! Going in on Monday to be monitored as my last scan showed baby had slowed down growth wise but my doctor thought it was just a bad scan so not too worried and they measured my placental flow which was fine plus monitored baby for half an hour which again was fine so am trying not to worry!

Good luck to everyone else too, won't be long for us all now.
