Glad to hear all these quiet beans are all ok.. I've been having so many less movements its so unnerving, if it happens anymore I might phone up.
Just thought I would try out Medela pump.. So far so good! Is it worth keeping what I get? (Everything was sterilised) just freeze it? How do you defrost it wen you need it? Feeling a bit funny now is this normal?

After my totally shitty day yesterday, I went to bed last night and kept waking up to see if I could feel baby.
He was moving but VERY slowly, anyway this morning DH came to me with breakfast in bed, and this afternoon let me sleep while he looked after DS, cleaned and tidied the house and came back from the shops with a bunch of flowers and a new little cuddly for baby.
He was full of apologies and can see why i was so pissed off at him,
Hate it when we row I was so emotional yesterday today i feel much calmer,
Have another appointment tomorrow to see about the low amniotic fluid and hopefully get a date to be induced, I'll be 38 wks on Tuesday so I can't see what their problem would be!

is it going to be a non baby day?

Spotty you can get moisturising hand wash from simple. Dd has this or her knuckles bleed when she washes her hands too much.

LO moving a bit more now and getting low level back ache and tummy tightenings every half hour or so. Maybe my 2 weeks is starting today?! Lol

brooke I think I read somewhere once you'd need to eat 6 or 7 pineapples in a day for it to make a baby come.

may friend drank pinapple juice and that worked, or was it going to happen anyway?

Spotty my sister swears by L'occitane hand cream (she's a nurse so washes hand obsessively and uses lots of alcohol scrub) it's pricey but does the job.

Thought I was having contractions, but it was Shrimpy pressing down on my bladder, I am never going to be on time!

I too heard you'd have to eat a ridiculous amount of pineapples to get any effect. I think it's the same with most of these remedies, basically they only seem to work because we try them when the baby's supposed to be coming anyway.
I thought something was happening yesterday evening, every 15 minutes at one point, but it's stopped now .

DH is now doing the Christmas decorations while I bark orders at him from the sofa!

cookies I've just bought a medela pump. The hospital recommended it and I had a go on their industrial-sized one to see if I got on with it. I'm going to give it a go tonight.

Are we meant to be expressing milk before baby comes? seems a lot of you are

emily I'm expressing because of my gestational diabetes. Babies blood sugars can crash after birth and breast milk is best to help them regulate them. I wouldn't have otherwise tbh. Although now I can get 5ml pretty easily. So hopefully I'll be able to express easily when the baby's here.

Ew I really achy at the bottom of my bump. It's like all the ligaments are stretching. Anyone else get this?

He's had both boobs and is now back on the first. 1.5 hours and counting. Where the fuck is it going?! He's far too small to fit that much milk in, surely?!

Maybe I spoke too soon about the pineapple - sharp pains that ate getting worse for the past 2 hours, baby is unusually really active and diahorea (sp) hmmmm

Well dh and I decided to have a little action to see if that would help and I've now been pacing for the past 2 hrs. Pains don't seem to be regular but I'm having so much pressure down below when they do come. I'm now at the do I or don't I ring delivery? I think I may give it 20 mins and see what happens.

Although with the way things have been going they'll go off again soon!
