Ohgood I don't know I just need to call in Monday and try to get an appointment this week. I have had terrible nausea and not eating much so hoping its just that.

The last four weeks have been nothing but bloating and 24 hour nausea.

MightBeMad · 09/12/2012 12:11

Calm I did exactly the same thing yesterday. Had a sausage sandwich for
Lunch (normally hate the things but it was all I fancied) and then could only manage half and felt awful afterwards. I'm hoping that if I get more sleep the next few days I might start to feel better (I'm sure I didn't 't feel this bad this early last time, but it got worse for me until 16 weeks so I'm dreading 2 months of this!!).

Boostar were you on the Sept 2010 ante-natal threads? Your name sounds familiar. Ds was born Sept 20th 2010 and we still have a thread going with about 10 or so of us.

Thanks for the links mightbe the Leeds clinic is about 1 mile from me Grin missed out on today's deal but will consider booking there soon.

I am about to have a nap as am so totally tired and have work on this evening so no early night ahead here.
My biggest gripe at the moment is noises rather than smells. I can't stand the noise of someone preparing food, our bathroom fan and the dehumidifier drives me mental! Blush

Runswithsquirrels · 09/12/2012 16:36

Evening everyone.
Went out with friends today and I didn't want them to suss me - but of course I couldn't find anything that didn't make me look fat. Trousers won't do up anymore and anything tight looks hideous. I don't know if there are two in their or it's enormous (DP is TALL). Or I am the queen of bloating.
I hope everyone is well.

mysterymeg · 09/12/2012 16:49

squirrels I was huge until last week when it deflated lol was all bloat! Had worried there were two in there but two scans confirm only one!

Don't panic if it goes down a bit... I was scared it meant something was wrong but bean was still happily floating around in the scan on Friday [fsmile ]

mysterymeg · 09/12/2012 16:50

Oops smiley fail! Xmas Smile

Runswithsquirrels · 09/12/2012 16:52

Thanks meg. I have my scan on the 28th, it's very hard to wait patiently!

BooStar · 09/12/2012 17:32

beadsitsback - I was!! Well remembered! DS was eventually born on the 17th September (he was due on the 1st!!)
It seems like an eon ago now. Is this your second too?
Are you able to link to the thread? I'd love to pop in and say hi!

No symptoms at all today [concerned] - can't wait til scan tomorrow to know one way or the other...

squirrels that it is. Feel lucky to have seen baby twice (although could have done without the panic the spotting caused! ) my 12 week is booked for 8 January but that may be moved forward now they've changed my due date.

28th is good though gives you something to do inbetween Christmas and NY!

Hello,
I'm beginning to feel brave enough to post on the sight, after a missed miscarriage in May, and some early losses too. Around 8 weeks now and scan last week showed heartbeat and right size-ish for dates (bigger, rather than smaller!).

I hardly have any symptoms though - I have the classic sore bigger boobs and have had some nausea on and off (some retching to smells and occassional vomiting), but absolutely no tiredness whatsover and if anything I am peeing less than before. Anyone else had that? The lack of tiredness is concerning me! Pregnancy feeling very similar to earier MMC which was around 8 weeks, picked up at 12 week scan.

Runs - I second the bloat. I got/get the bloat massively with both pregnancies. I know it isn't baby, but the belly really has been quite impresssive and I'm sure gets tongues wagging! Glad to hear that is normal though.

wifey6 · 09/12/2012 17:48

Hi all...
Have noticed a few of you mentioning about lack of or fading symptoms.
I know I've posted about it recently but the last few days I've noticed my symptoms settling/fading.
I'm worried as had MMC in April and I guess just looking for reassurance if anyone has any please.

Here Boostar if it works!
Yes this will be dc2. I can't remember where we lost you on the old threads but there are about a trillion of them... We know how to talk! Saying that it's tailed off a it recently but a few have newborns and one of the ladies that had Sept2010 twins already has another 1year old!!
So our little ones are really close in age. You went so overdue!! 6 days over was enough for me Xmas Smile
I really am jealous of all that have had scans already but no history of mc here so I'm just impatient I guess. Feel rotten tonight. Just ate half of my steak and sweet potato then had to come and skulk in a dark room.... Grumpy mare! Xmas Grin

Thinkingof4 · 09/12/2012 18:30

wifey placenta will be starting to work a bit which might explain symptoms fading. I thought mine were for last few days then I puked up my breakfast this morning! Definitely fluctuating though!

dinkystinky · 09/12/2012 18:34

Wifey - I think symptoms fade as your placenta takes over and hormone surge dies down as you near the second trimester. I am also looking very fat - like I've had too many xmas dinners already!

Lovely to see Boostar and Beaditsback are buddies from an earlier antenatal thread with their DC1!

Had a super manic day yesterday and busy morning and early afternoon today - and a fairly disturbed night last night - so DH let me have an hours kip this afternoon while he entertained the kids. Was lovely! I never normally manage to make myself nap during the day.

Runswithsquirrels · 09/12/2012 18:36

wifey my symptoms have gone over the last few days. Just the tiredness remaining.

Hope it's not too late to join!
I'm due on 15th July - so I'm 8 weeks but only found out 2 days ago after feeling a bit nauseus and wanting to rule out pregnancy, having had a period 2 weeks ago, and needing Clomid to conceive our first Shock
We have a DD who's just turned 1, so it's going to be quite crazy Hmm We are moving to Cornwall in a week - so, in one way having a newbown could be a great way to meet people...!
Congratulations everyone - looking forward to hearing how everyone's getting on Smile

photographerlady · 09/12/2012 19:36

I have a question for you ladies. Had anyone experienced low blood pressure in pregnancy? After my little scare I've tried reading up before my appointment tomorrow. Guess two weeks of barely eating didn't help but nausea has been so difficult to bare. Tried to force down abit of weetabix and a salad today still nausea but thankfully I am holiday come Wednesday to just sleep, eat and not have the London commute.

Bessie123 · 09/12/2012 19:40

beaditsback and boostar I was on the September 2010 thread as well. This is dc3 for me.

Hello! Just found the thread (love the new app - so much easier to find things!).

Has anybody else been putting on quite a lot of weight, BUT not changed at all the quantities that they're eating, or changed from, for example, salads with light dressings to Big Mac and fries? I've put on 3kgs (6.6lbs) and I'm only 7 weeks pregnant - so baby only been in there for 5 weeks! In my last pregnancy, a lot of weight came on in the end (more than just the baby being bigger then), so I feel like I'll be the size of a whale by Jan, even if I avoid all the fun stuff!

Getting some tests done tomorrow, because i have a thyroid problem, but last week the results were normal for that, so I'm wondering if another mumsnetter has the same!

butterflyexperience · 09/12/2012 20:00

How's everyone coping with all day sickness?
I'm fed up of it
Can't do anything house is a mess...
I'm 8 weeks tomorrow...

esme80 · 09/12/2012 20:07

photographer my bp was really low my last pragnancy, remember being told this was very common but dont remember the reason! Nothing to worry about I dont think...
