Well being up town in my own did nothing! I should have known really after trying an epic 4.5 hour trip to Ikearrrgh with my inlaws but not DH when I was days over due with DD, had no effect!!
Think I'm going to call the reflexologist

MissMummy1 · 30/11/2012 17:23

4 I think... Hmm

ToManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 30/11/2012 17:33

Come on ladies, we can do this! We can all have our babies tonight.

mrswee · 30/11/2012 17:59

well I've just ordered a very hot curry!

mrswee · 30/11/2012 17:59

oh and reflexology on monday which I pray I won't need!

mummytobe1990 · 30/11/2012 19:37

just the 4 i think, MissMummy1, TooManyDicks, mrswee and myself. is that right?

when was everybody due and does anyone else have their induction date yet?

haha TooManyDicks im bouncing on this bloody ball religously, even eating my meals on it! have tried hot curries and pineapples aswell lol.

Shes just being stubborn i think, im betting she will turn up this weekend tho as it would be reli inconveniant for us....volunteering at a family arts and crafts day tomorrow (in a barn in the middle of nowhere! that could be quite festive hahaha) and going out for a family meal on sunday.

MissMummy1 · 30/11/2012 19:48

What do contractions feel like? Blush I've had a mild off and on crampy feeling for the past hour or so. Not exactly painful. Just uncomfortable. Worse when sitting down and disappears whenever I stand up and do anything. Hmm

YellowWellies · 30/11/2012 20:06

I'm not the best one to answer as I went from nothing to 1.5 min apart contractions in 2 hours so didn't really have a slow build up to speak of. It could be contractions or pre-labour?

ToManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 30/11/2012 20:44

I don't believe it, my dd (5) has got threadworms! I can't be treated while pregnant or breastfeeding. I'm going to have to deep clean the house tomorrow and wash everything. Just what I need right now Sad, I just hope I don't go into labour tonight now.

mm1, proper contractions don't usually go when you move around. Might be very early labour though.

Passmethecrisps · 30/11/2012 20:48

Yep, MM I am not sure mine are the best example either with them being induced. I am not sure I could describe them anyway actually - the ones I had having been given three sweeps and two lots of gel were pretty obvious!

How awesome would it be if you all have birth tonight?! I almost miss bouncing on my ball. That was almost

Passmethecrisps · 30/11/2012 20:49

That is rubbish toomany. Will deep cleaning get rid of them?

MissMummy1 · 30/11/2012 20:51

Yeah I'm not convinced it is anything. I'm just clinging onto any false hope! I hate hate hate not knowing... Sad

Nightmare re your dd dicks. FC you'll be fine!

ToManyDicksOnTheDancefloor · 30/11/2012 20:57

Deep cleaning will get rid of the eggs to stop reinfection after her and DH are treated tomorrow. Hopefully it will stop me from being infected.

jenbird · 30/11/2012 21:10

MM Could def be the start of early labour. Fingers crossed for you.
TooMany We had them about 4 weeks ago. It's hideous isn't it?! I did actually take the Ovex. The thought of having them horrified me and I did some research. Apparently they prescribe it in Australia to women over 22 weeks but obviously I wouldn't recommend it. I think they have gone now. We had 2 weeks of showers morning and night, pants in bed, clean sheets and towels every 2 days. It was a pain the bum (ha ha) but it seems to have worked. Good luck.
Wanted to come and check back here as your support was invaluable to me right to the end so hope you 4 aren't too uncomfortable x

Congrats Dixie!!! lovely name Smile

mrswee · 30/11/2012 22:47

one hot curry down.. walked the long way to the pub with DH, let him have two pints just to tempt fate.. it's his payday so we can get a taxi if need be but I very much doubt it.
I've just finished the hot curry while doing bouncy circles on the ball. I do have a rumbling mild period style pain so things heading in the right direction but that could still be days from now... I hate not knowing too MM
ach that's sods law toomanydicks sorry to hear it! still deep cleaning might get things going? every cloud has a silver lining!

Clarella · 30/11/2012 22:50

Congratulations dixie! Sorry been awol quite a bit think I've missed a few births! jenbird and georgee too? Congratulations ladies! Sorry, little brain.ability at mo, need to go back through thread

don't think I qualify to be classed as any of the 3 or 4 left as such an infrequent visitor to the thread! Was due on Monday, buggery weekend winter vom bug mucked up 1st sweep attempt, hadone on weds but mw was still worried how sore my tummy was and I don't think she hung about. Cervix still posterior and v high :( so Thursday I marched myself silly all over town and up to the top of the Baltic gallery stairs (there's a lot!) And today felt like crap and sore thighs! And not much else (save some xmas shopping!) All the cramps and ridiculous bhs I had earlier in week were all to do with recovering from that gastric bug.
Induction date 10th Dec.

Very much hope it's the start of something mm!

toomany oh no really not what you want right now you poor thing, what a nightmare.

mrswee · 30/11/2012 23:10

clarella please join us, you are included of course!

MissMummy1 · 30/11/2012 23:11

I'm very much hoping so too clarella but it's fizzled away to nothing in the past hour. Well, even more nothing than it already was. Grr. [bsad] Think I'll swap my bedtime hot choccie for ANOTHER cup of raspberry leaf tea. I got dp all excited that he could come ashore early - he's desperate for me to go into labour very quickly so he can stick the boat up the beach or park up against our arrogant rich twat 'lovely neighbour's' private moorings all action man stylie. [bgrin] (In reality he'll probably be driving us to hospital in the citroen for an induction in 2 weeks....)

Clarella of course you can be in our final group - it's getting a bit lonely! + you = 5. [bsmile]

Get me with my tartan-whore smileys [bsmile] [bgrin] [bwink] [bshock] [bhmm] [bblush] !!!!

Clarella · 30/11/2012 23:32

Lol your Tartan smileys!

Aw that's v kind mm and mrswee!

You're very welcome on the Dec thread too which is where I've been most of preg.
I've never known which thread to go on as dates kept changing! It's beginning to pop early babies [benvy] (all boys so far!)
Mind, it's extremely busy!

I love that image mm of the boat racing to shore! Oh your dp must be so on edge! The consolation I'm giving myself with the induction on the 10th is that there is a slim possibility it might be 12/12/12 (though a bugger of a long labour!

Iheartpasties · 30/11/2012 23:37

It's so exciting waiting for the last few babies to arrive! It's december already here. My friend is getting married today she has a 20 month old and a 6 week old! I am trying to picture her wipping out her boob to do a quick breast feed just after tying the knot :) :)

mummytobe1990 · 30/11/2012 23:42

welcome clarella our little group is growing lol im being induced on the 5th so they are only letting me go 7 days over my due date. how long is everyone else having to wait for induction?

mummytobe1990 · 30/11/2012 23:43

i currently have a cat draped over my shoulders....shes very clingy at the moment so hopefully its a sign things are going to happen soon :D

MissMummy1 · 30/11/2012 23:46

Given I have to wait to 8 days over my due date for an appointment to DISCUSS induction, I now doubt it's the 10 days they first said... The mw at my last appointment mentioned 14 days. [bconfused]
