Update: am on monitor then up to labour ward to be assessed. Possibly steroids but maybe not then see what consultant says tomorrow but basically they don't want to take any risks and have put a low threshold on me staying in and for induction. I'm definitely not ready for this and dp is in bloody Hindhead miles away!

Yeah they keep going low I've had to drop my insulin back by half in the last three days and it's meant to go the other way towards the end of a pregnancy!

Horrendous weather here! Flooding everywhere, DP has been stuck in traffic for over an hour in a normal 15 min journey - I however am snuggled on the sofa being a Dirty Dorothy Dunker

Honey, for nappy rash we used bepanthan and metanium
(just be careful with metanium once Dash hits the terrible twos that he can't reach it and squeeze the entire tube all over your curtains, wall and carpet, like my wonderful DS did, as its a bugger to remove! Lol lol)

sorry to hear you're in hospital Spotty! If your DD is anything like my DS though, she'll be enjoying being thoroughly spoilt by her gran and it's much harder on you cos you're stuck doing nothing (well apart from the very important job of growing a baby!) Hope I'm right! Fingers crossed you'll be out soon - keep us updated!

Good luck spotty when I was in the girl in the bed next to me with a newborn asked if the nurses could look after the baby while she went for a fag. The nurse said shed have to sign a disclaimer as the nurses couldn't take responsibility if she left the baby on the ward and she said 'give us the thing to sign then'

Spotty, that really wound dp up - all the stinky smokers couldn't be arsed to walk 3 yards to the shelter so were clogging up the communal entrance - including pg women in pyjamas

We were forced to walk through it. It's not like us non smokers go around breathing our fresh air in their faces or owt, show the same respect!

Ugh, I can't stand smokers at the best of times - my tolerance would be seriously low when in hospital.

I have a really important question for everyone - what the fuck has happened to my feet!? I looked at them yesterday after being out of the house for around 14 hours and they had turned into ugly dimpled sausages. Same again today. I normally have long, slender feet that just don't fit into most shoes - where have they gone!?

Such a minor problem, but it has made me go .

4 days left at work.

I'm fairly recently ex but there are limits to my tolerance of any behaviour or attitude forced onto others without their consent!

Whenever we go to hospital you have to fight past all the people in dressing gowns clutching drips who can't be arsed going to the shelter. My chain smoking grandma had to quit while she was in hospital because she couldn't get anyone to wheel her down and she was too lazy to walk.

Fag ash lil is dunking her biscuits....

MaMaPo compression stockings!!! :o I've been wearing them every day and they seem to be keeping the worst at bay (which is great because then I can sleep!) A friend who has a 3 month old showed us a photo of her feet at the end of her preg but only once she'd swore us to secrecy... I think she won't see this post on here :o .... honestly they were crazy mahoosive swollen things!! Bless her

Mamapo I have one huge fat foot, I went past boots yesterday, but forgot what I wanted from there so still not got any compression socks.

DH is adamant I am going into labour this weekend, ever the optimist!!!!
